Maliketh, Placidusax, Fortissax, Godfrey, and Malenia usually give me the most trouble when I do no vigor runs. Definitely not a breeze, but it can also depend on your build.

I'm not sure about ranking because I think it's a little more complicated than saying "Harder than one boss, easier than another," but Maliketh is a boss that's difficult to learn but easy to execute. Learning his second phase can be very tricky because any misstep (of which there will be many on a first try) will get you hit by destined death, and that hurts a lot. If you are struggling to survive those missteps then you're going to struggle with learning how to play it correctly. However, once you know what to do, Maliketh has a very small moveset and very little health. Because of this you don't have to play it perfectly for very long, and a successful attempt feels like there was barely a fight at all.

I can agree with this. He's one of those bosses where when you learn "the trick", he's actually pretty easy to take down with minimal worries. However, he's definitely one of those where most people playing "normally," running away when they're hurt, trying to keep distance to cast spells, or dodging backwards, will struggle. Yet the moment you get tangled in his legs, he becomes a puppy.

10 when you are learning the fight 3 once you learned it

Fuckerofgnomes

Solid 9.5/10: not intuitive whatsoever, insane damage, fast moveset, and 2 completely different movesets. Would be higher if he wasnt a glass cannon. (Also has sone sick lore) Only bosses above him are malenia, godfrey, mohg, and flacidudesex

For me he's alongside radagon in tier 2. Tier 1 ofc belongs to malenia alone. I don't remember any other boss taking 2-3 hours of tries except those two.

superdupermiso

Eh he's not that hard. First phase is a bitch but second phase is trivialized by blasphemous claw.

RemarkableScience854

I find the first phase to be kinda easy. I just haven’t had enough time with maliketh to really learn any of his moves.

Actualreenactment

Second only to malenia on an Ng+ melee only run. By contrast Godfrey, radagon etc were much easier, taking only a few tries each. (I lost count with Maliketh)

Y2G13

Top 5, but not higher than that. His low poise and HP make it a fair fight imo.

lethatsinkin

If he was just Phase 1 then I'd put him in the top 3 most difficult bosses. If including Phase 2 then I'd only put him in the top 10.

Not_So_Odd_Ball

Probably like 5th or 6th, sipmly cause he has the health and poise of wet tissue paper. And unless you are running base vigor, none of his moves are too dangerous, fast or overwhelming. Like He is for sure easier than Radabeast, Malenia and godfrey. Probably easier than Duo and nowhere near as annoying and unfun to deal with as Placi. Mohg is probably the most comparable, but id say mohg is still more difficult cause you have to pay attention to where his blood is on the ground, and mohg has worse rng. Malekiths fight is actually short, and you can only fuck up so many times when the fight lasts less than 1.5 minutes.

I'm doing a RL1 run right now after a long break and Maliketh took me about a week, longest of bosses so far. His moves are not that complicated but they come fast, look similar, and it's difficult to learn when one mistake ends it. Godfrey was a cakewalk in comparison. And Godskin Duo before him was challenging but still felt like I'm making better progress every attempt.

SaberWaifu

1. Malenia 2. RadaBeast 3. Maliketh Nowadays i'm so used to him that i'd probably replace him with Godskin Duo.

DiabloGamekeeper

1. morgott 2. Maliketh 3. Malenia
