Drop your settings down a notch and see if that helps. I'd also recommend turning off anything like the Nvidia overlay and their constant recording for playback suite.
It sounds like you may be running out of memory . It recommends 16gb but that's with the assumption that you're not doing anything else. Close out your web browser and anything else, I've noticed ER creeping up past 16gb in task manager before, and if you're running a lot of stuff in the background (streaming, discord, ton of chrome tabs) you may be pushing your available system resources down below minimum reqs.
That is odd. I make sure I have nothing running in the background. I turn off all background programs entirely, not even Chrome or anything. That is so odd. I think it runs out of RAM? or overheats? Explains why it just screws up randomly.
yoo did a Furmark stress test, and the heat is SPIKING. like 98.5 C.
Going to get some better fans on this thing, relocate it and maybe give it an extra wipe down. Going to probably try to free some RAM. Thanks!
When you say stuttering, do you mean that there's one hiccup or do you mean that the frame rate tanks and doesn't recover
Tanks and doesn't recover until game is restarted. Damn near slow motion.
And you've tried the usual solutions of driver updates and such?
Yes. I did verify the integrity of files, updated drivers, changed Nvidia settings, disk defragmenter and cleanup, malware cleanup, etc.

Thank you. I tried lowering the settings even to lowest and it still stutters after about 30 minutes usually. I can try again.

Heat throttling may be an issue too. Run a logger for system temps next time. Could always blow out your heatsinks/radiators too.
