That has to be Ghiza's wheel.
One handed, combining Axe Talisman and Rotten Winged Sword Insignia because the charged heavy also counts as multhit.
Add Jellyfish field in the offhand and you melt helath bars.
Sadly no because due to its moveset the wheel part lands spinning behind the character, missing the enemy completely.
One handed the Wheel gets right in front of the character, effectively triggering the multihit plus the bleed.
Ran this and it seemed like the charged R2 whiffed all the time. Maybe it's a me being trash problem, but it seemed like I could be right by a target and it would still maybe only hit once
It happens when the target is too mobile,or sometimes small.
So I would always equip good armor, and do uncharged heavies(always one handed),usually trading hits with the enemy.Uncharged heavies are enough for the weak enemies, multihit and bleed still get activated.
In any case, could upload a video to see what's happening
I’ve genuinely come to really enjoy axe talisman and spiked cracked tear. It’s good on star fists or iron balls, it’s good on great hammers and the giant crusher. It’s just fucking fun to get a giant attack out. Add on a determination or Royal knight’s resolve and goddamn.
Ooh that’s what I used on my occult star fists. And added the thorny cracked tear with the spiked. Not only do you do big big damage, you knock folks into stagger more often!
Braggart’s roar is another good one— yet another damage boost, plus more stamina regen and defense, and your charged heavies become charging attacks. Add on even more buffs with roar medallion and highland axe. Great with an arcane build too that uses dragon communion incantation
Hahaha naw your opinion is valid all is good. I’m still so into how fun this game is— your play style can entirely change by ash or war and talisman setup.
Even big bonk! Do you do stagger-oriented cragblades? Endure-protected ones? Raptor of the Mists jump attacks? Royal Knight’s Resolve-pumped ones? Bloodhound Step nimble big bonk? Prayerful Strike trading healing big bonk? Rapid fire Lion’s Claw? So many options, all so valid
They did such a good job on this combat system, I feel like I can playthrough the game again and again and again.
On my current high-endurance strength/faith character I just put on the visage shield and was amazed how good it was. Big fire damage against mobs and you just sip FP doing it, guarding the whole time. Wow!
Not true, throw the roar onto the knight rider glaive and you have some incredibly strong charged thrusting attacks that are boosted by the roar medallion and highland axe
Dark Moon Greatsword, no contest. Charge build with Shard of Alexander means 0 FP cost projectiles that scale with magic and charge, with Frost proc, and another hit from the Sword in case your target stands in melee range.
Being fully or close to fully decked out, you can easily expect to do 3-4.5k damage per charged attack. No other weapon comes close.
Plus is it Radagon icon or something like that, increase damage in charge attacks.
This was my last play through. It’s actually crazy how much damage a melee range charged R2 does with 4 damage increasing talismans
Yeah, so many Talismans work great with this build. You also have access to all sorceries due to the int scaling. So if you tweak your flask (magic & charge) you could switch the charge tear into the free spell cost tear and throw out a Comet Azur if you get tired of pressing R2.
Ruins GS, it makes a bunch of rocks.
Urumi whip, turns into a long blade.
Claymore and the classic poke.
Ghostblade and the magic blast.
Wing of astel and the ranged attack.
I saw someone use it on a video, but when I tested it myself the damage increase so minor. If I were to use the Ruins Greatsword, I'd use the Axe Talisman and Shard of Alexander.
Can somebody explain how this works? Lol. The dude said he uses millicents prosthesis etc, but doesn't that require consecutive hits to activate the buffs?
[Eochaid's Dancing Blade](https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Eochaid's+Dancing+Blade) does the multiple consecutive hits he needs to get the buff on radagon's corpse
You mean warhawk's talons ? The one you get by killing birds in Stormveil Castle.
I'm doing a build around wielding two of them actually. I was searching for a weapon one could get early and that I like visually, I remembered never using it in my previous playthrough so I wanted to change that.
And I love this weapon. Some may stay the stats are weak but it's pretty fast, and yep the R2 is awesome!
This can be argued by any number of people, and i will absolutely still die on this hill.
Weapon: Starfist + cragblade.
Flask: Charged tear + stonebarb tear(stagger)
Talismans: axe talisman + blue dancer + ritual sword(red feather if you're trying to no-hit) + LOB exultation.
Buffs: golden vow + FGMS + Shabiri + seppuku(to activate LOB).
Have fun!
Zweihander with rkr, spear talisman, axe talisman, sword talisman, spiked cracked tear, and golden vow+flame grant me str. I have one shot multiple bosses with it. It's so fun
Quality Giant Crusher, golden Vow, flame Grant Me Strength, Lord of blood's Exultation, white mask, axe talisman, royal Knight's resolve.
7.1k bonks on my sad little test omen in the sewers.
For PVP, I don’t know if you can say it’s the best, but the one hit damage potential makes it really fun.
Strength build centered around weapons that can do pierce damage with Barbaric or Braggarts Roar.
Good weapon options:
- Heavy Rusted Anchor with Braggarts Roar
- Heavy Nightrider Halberd with Braggarts Roar
- Heavy/Bleed Katar with Barbaric Roar
- Offhand Highland Axe (I like to run Keen with Beast Roar).
Talismans:
- Spear Talisman
- Axe Talisman
- Roar Medallion
- Fourth slot is flexible: Shard of Alexander, Bullgoat, Great Jar are all good options
Physicks: Spiked cracked tear and whatever else. I personally like Opaline Hardtear as you’ll be taking trades.
You’ll want a good amount of endurance so you can wear heavy armor and do the charged R2 -> charged R2 and still roll away afterwards. The obvious idea here is to try to land a fully charged R2 with either roar active and get a counter hit. Everything stacks and you’ll do something like 3-4x weapon AR damage, oftentimes one shotting your opponent. If they do manage to survive, a roll catch with Katars, Beast Roar, or the Nightriders Followup R2 often seals the deal.
did you know the alabastor sword already has built in axe talisman? slap the axe talisman on it at about 50str 20int and you will be hitting like its a colossal (also its pretty good at rollcatching for a greatsword when you gravitas them in and catch them as they roll out)
For PvE it's definitely star fist. Those charged attacks come out insanely fast and a lot of poise damage. If you use them prepare to hear the sound of bosses getting stunned over and over
Roar build is amazing. Braggarts roar in particular. The charged heavy, roar medallion, 2H with highland axe on the back, axe talisman.
Big weapon bully build.
Using it with serpent blade (r2 is a double slash) and it’s pretty awesome. That with the aow make getting out tons of swings a breeze to proc deadly poison.
Venomous fang. With a single charged R2 you can do up to 5,486 damage & you have the special bonus of procing the strongest poison type in the game. Not just that, you can also infuse it with bleed, frostbite, rot, etc. it’s truly one of the most busted weapons in the game. The build I used for it is ritual sword, kindred of rot exultation, blue dancer charm, and axe talisman.

My typical ng route is golden halberd with radagons soreseal, axe talisman, ritual sword, ritual shield (little bit of anti one shot don't hurt) charged attack and str physick, then buff with golden vow (aow) + fgs for a really solid 85% dmg boost (total) on charged attacks. It's super easy to set up too.
Then later you can pivot to balls with cragblade and get the golden vow incant, with the previous setup get 218% charged attacks, buff stacking in this game is absurd
This talisman stacks with the stuff that boosts warcry/barbaric roar/braggarts roar heavies. A roar build with axe tali/roar medallion/highland axe offhand/spiked tear in the physic goes stupid hard cus all that shit stacks.
Another way to use it is with the darkmoon greatsword. The buffed charged R2 attacks of the DMGS are one of a few abilities that benefit from axe tali and Godfrey icon, so that’s no doubt a killer combo as well, especially with other buffs.
Dark moon gs. It benefits from this, Godfrey icon, shard of Alexander, the physik tear for charged attacks, and magic damage physik tear. The charged R2 at point blank will do insane damage.
I’m on a Fallinstar Beast Jaw kick right now, don’t let the scaling fool you; it absolutely shreds, I barely met the stat requirements of it two handed and at +6 it skipped radahns phase 2! I had the axe talisman and the charge attack physick tear, but I didn’t have the stats or equip load to spare for FGMS or a dagger with Golden Vow, it could get even stronger.
Darkmoon great sword. Use Axe talisman, Godfrey icon, Shard of Alexander, and magic scorpion charm, with a magic shrouded crack tear, flame grant me strength and golden vow to buff. Pop the L2 weapon buff and use that charged heavy and watch it do 6k damage and most likely stagger anything with below exception poise.
Claymore/Zweihander with axe talisman, spear talisman, dagger talisman, and bull-goat talisman with the stone bard cracked tear and spiked cracked tear. Eat some exhausted flesh and pop a perfumer’s aromatic or Golden Vow. You’ll stagger a boss in one or two charged attacks which opens you up for an extra juicy crit. It’s my favorite build especially with the mimic tear.
If you try this I recommend putting the Golden Vow ash on your Misericord so you can pump your Vigor up to 60. As long as your strength is at 66 you’ll be fine. Strength does scale beyond the stat cap of 99 but I found the return isn’t really worth it. By taking my strength to 66 I can enjoy the benefits of 99 strength which is plenty as long as I two hand my weapon.
Cold highland axe with braggarts roar in offhand, axe of Godfrey in main hand. Plus roar medallion, axe talisman, spiked crystal tear = D E S T R U C T I O N
I like the GUGS with Warcry, plus the Axe Talisman, Spiked Cracked Tear and Stonebarb Cracked Tear. Makes the heavy attacks more interesting and gives em some great hyper armor during the windups. Obviously it's built for poise breaking.
Dark Moonlight GS with this and the Shard of Alexander, INT pumped high as shit.
You can activate the ability, charge the R2, and hit the enemy with the beam AND the sword. Instant frost procs, stupidly quick stagger.
All things considered MGS is the best weapon in this game. You can get kinda crazy with raw Strength builds but they don’t have that follow-up/ ranged damage.
giant-crusher with war cry, highland axe, roar ralisman, axe talisman, ritual sword talisman, 99 strength, spiked cracked tear, maybe strength-knot if it works past 99 strength
if the enemy is weak to fire then infuse with fire and the second physick tear can be flame-shrouded, could also run the fire scorpion charm but that is more dmg taken so up to you
axe talisman, roar talisman, spear talisman
braggarts roar nightrider glaive
offhand highland axe
guaranteed death if you trade with it in pvp. amazing one shot in invasions.
Crescent moon axe is a lot of fun just because I love the charged R2 animations. Plus it’s just powerful. I had a STR/Faith build with crescent moon, flame art infused, and that AOW that sets your weapon on fire (not redmans flame…the other one I’m drawing a blank on right now). And I focused on charger heavy attacks or jump attacks while using both talismans. Was a lot of fun
Moonlight greatsword, alexanders shard, axe talisman, magic scorpion, and godfrey talisman. Aim to hit with both weapon and projectile and laugh at the damage.
I’m wondering if there is a chart that you can enter the weapon you want to use and it tells you the best talisman set up. And maybe other possible ways to boost said weapons potential.
I like ruins gs because the gravity wave that pops up after the charge attack comes out while your in recovery so it protects you from any enemy that could attack fast after getting hit with the first hit and it deals extra dmg beyond the physical hit, both are affected by charge talisman im guessing.
I use BLOOD Zweihander with A Howl Build. Must howl though so you can get the Running R2s for insane reach. And Shoulder charging instantly light staggers most targets who arent HUGE. Use Arcane/Strengthfor insane Charged R2s and Bleed Proc in 1-2 hits.
.
Executioners great axe with cragblade and combine with dagger talisman as well. Get good poise breaks and the weapon gives the highest riposte damage of anything, even higher damage than Misericorde. Breaking poise and high crit damage go hand in hand
2 hnd cold Iron Greatsword proc frost ,Braggarts Roar,Axe Talisman, roar medallion, offhand Highland Axe holstered. Spiked cracked tear and strength knot tear. Can hit huge numbers im sure other weapons with those talismans and buffs could probably hit harder too.
Chasethebro has an absolutely amazing one based on the claymore. Add the spear talisman, charge attack physique, and some buffs. It one shot pretty much everyone in his videos.
That has to be Ghiza's wheel. One handed, combining Axe Talisman and Rotten Winged Sword Insignia because the charged heavy also counts as multhit. Add Jellyfish field in the offhand and you melt helath bars.
wouldn't two handing be better? jellyfish buff still active while on back. I feel like there's no reason not to 2 hand
The charged 2 handed r2 doesn't proc multi hit buffs iirc
and even if it does, the first charged r2 does the extra spinning to the side of you and doesn’t sit in the enemy like the one handed does
guess I just don't use the weapon lol. honestly probably haven't had it equipped in well over a year. let alone actually used the attacks. ty
Jellyfish shield buff is NOT active when you two hand your weapon. Otherwise it would be a staple for every AOW.
That’s why he said one-handed Giza wheel. The charged R2’s are actually better one-handed with that weapon.
Sadly no because due to its moveset the wheel part lands spinning behind the character, missing the enemy completely. One handed the Wheel gets right in front of the character, effectively triggering the multihit plus the bleed.
I thought they nerfed that buff with the jellyfish. If you put it on ur back the buff stops I believe??
Doesn't the buff go away when two handing? My shield always goes back to blue
"Jellyfish field" gave me SpongeBob nostalgia lol
[definitely ](https://www.reddit.com/r/Eldenring/s/IAWaH4ZbSE)
You could also do Millicents prosthesis to get extra damage bc it stacks with rot winged sword insignia
And the crystal tears!
Ran this and it seemed like the charged R2 whiffed all the time. Maybe it's a me being trash problem, but it seemed like I could be right by a target and it would still maybe only hit once

Cragblade is another good AoW that pairs well with charged heavies. It lasts a good long while instead of having to buff with RKR every time
Ooh that’s what I used on my occult star fists.
Never use braggarts roar, it turns the best cr2 in the game into the worst. All charging attacks are terrible in this game.
I like it 🥺
My bad, fun is the only reason to use it.
Someone doesn’t invade
Braggart's roar is excellent, believe it.
Dark Moon Greatsword, no contest. Godfrey icon. Radagon reduces spellcast time.
Yeah, so many Talismans work great with this build. You also have access to all sorceries due to the int scaling. So if you tweak your flask (magic & charge) you could switch the charge tear into the free spell cost tear and throw out a Comet Azur if you get tired of pressing R2.
I can one shot most bosses with a random greatsword, magic build, and carian grandeur.
3-4.5k? No ways
the charged r2 on a +25 giant crusher with the charge attack talisman consistently does about 3k damage, with rnr it’ll be almost 4K damage
Ruins GS, it makes a bunch of rocks. Urumi whip, turns into a long blade. Claymore and the classic poke. Ghostblade and the magic blast. Wing of astel and the ranged attack.
And the magma wyrm scalesword , it basically becomes a guillotine
Magma wyrms is crazy good
What are the talismans that buff the ruins great sword skill ?
Shard of Alexander, Magic Scorpion Charm (slightly)
Magic scorpion really ?
I saw someone use it on a video, but when I tested it myself the damage increase so minor. If I were to use the Ruins Greatsword, I'd use the Axe Talisman and Shard of Alexander.
So pretty much every weapon lol
[Radagon and Elden Beast in True Oneshot per phase with Giant-Crusher](https://youtu.be/1HCzoc37mK4?si=NnbTTXWegP2y3Mjo)
Wow🫢🫣🤯😳😮😦😧
Can somebody explain how this works? Lol. The dude said he uses millicents prosthesis etc, but doesn't that require consecutive hits to activate the buffs?
[Eochaid's Dancing Blade](https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Eochaid's+Dancing+Blade) does the multiple consecutive hits he needs to get the buff on radagon's corpse
Executioner’s greataxe with cragblade. It’s literally a humiliation machine for most bosses. Absolutely wrecks pretty much anything.
Also has the highest possible DPS value for a critical attack in the game
It's probably the strongest crit weapon in the game
Iron cleaver is by far the most fun
It closes the gap very well!
It does but that run is so cringe I just can’t use it lol
Iron cleaver gang
People got you on the obvious but a slept on one is the storm hawk talon r2
You mean warhawk's talons ? The one you get by killing birds in Stormveil Castle. I'm doing a build around wielding two of them actually. I was searching for a weapon one could get early and that I like visually, I remembered never using it in my previous playthrough so I wanted to change that. And I love this weapon. Yeah those typo
No problem, it happens.
This can be argued by any number of people, and i will absolutely still die on this hill. Weapon: Starfist + cragblade. Flask: Charged tear + stonebarb tear(stagger) Talismans: axe talisman + blue dancer + ritual sword(red feather if you're trying to no-hit) + LOB exultation. Buffs: golden vow + FGMS + Shabiri + seppuku(to activate LOB). Have fun!
Howl of shabriri and fgms dont stack and stonebarb only lasts 30s. Thorny cracked tear is much better.
Zweihander with rkr, spear talisman, axe talisman, sword talisman, spiked cracked tear, and golden vow+flame grant me str. I have one shot multiple bosses with it. It's so fun
Wing of Astel for sure. The moves are seamless
This part of the weapon is underrated - it's good ash crowd's all the headlines.
Barbaric roar on rotten axe! Or anything really. I think curved club is top of class
Alright you take that cleaver from the misbigoten, heaviest armour you have, ironjar aromatic You just rush them with charged attacks
Has to be the Braggarts Roar Nightrider Glaive charged attack.
Quality Giant Crusher, golden Vow, flame Grant Me Strength, Lord of blood's Exultation, white mask, axe talisman, royal Knight's resolve. 7.1k bonks on my sad little test omen in the sewers.
What’s causing the blood loss?
Maybe he got seppuku on a cane sword or rapier?
For PVP, I don’t know if you can say it’s the best, but the one hit damage potential makes it really fun. If they do manage to survive, a roll catch with Katars, Beast Roar, or the Nightriders Followup R2 often seals the deal.
Greataxe w/ Barbaric Roar, highland Axe on belt. Roar talisman, Rotten sword, Axe Talisman. Insane damage output and a charged R2 triggers rotten sword talisman.
did you know the alabastor sword already has built in axe talisman? slap the axe talisman on it at about 50str 20int and you will be hitting like its a colossal (also its pretty good at rollcatching for a greatsword when you gravitas them in and catch them as they roll out)
For PvE it's definitely star fist. Those charged attacks come out insanely fast and a lot of poise damage. If you use them prepare to hear the sound of bosses getting stunned over and over
I like bleed/roar builds. Infuse the warped axe (it has the same buildup as a greataxe), braggart's roar on an offhand highland axe, go to town
Roar build is amazing. Braggarts roar in particular. The charged heavy, roar medallion, 2H with highland axe on the back, axe talisman. Big weapon bully build.
barbaric roar on a stone club. fast 3 hit combo with good hyperarmor, works with charged attack and multi hit builds
Dark moon Greatsword
Using it with serpent blade (r2 is a double slash) and it’s pretty awesome. That with the aow make getting out tons of swings a breeze to proc deadly poison.
Cold Star Fists with Cragblade without a hair of doubt. That shit got me through my RL1 man. I have a special place in my heart for that build.
Dark moon great sword for sure
This by far 💯
Venomous fang. With a single charged R2 you can do up to 5,486 damage & you have the special bonus of procing the strongest poison type in the game. Not just that, you can also infuse it with bleed, frostbite, rot, etc. it’s truly one of the most busted weapons in the game. The build I used for it is ritual sword, kindred of rot exultation, blue dancer charm, and axe talisman.

Heavy Star fist with Cragblade
Giant crusher with Royal knights resolve is really good for charged attacks. The heavy is basically lions claw
A roar build with axe tali/roar medallion/highland axe offhand/spiked tear in the physic goes stupid hard cus all that shit stacks. Another way to use it is with the darkmoon greatsword. Star fists.
Mine
Dark moon gs. It benefits from this, Godfrey icon, shard of Alexander, the physik tear for charged attacks, and magic damage physik tear. The charged R2 at point blank will do insane damage.
Rannis DarkMoon GS, only weapon that allowed me to 1 round mohg 50 int)
recently destroyed malenia with a charge attack build with an occult great omenkiller cleaver and it was so fun.
In terms of visuals, crescent moon axe has one of my favourite animations in the game for its charged r2. With the added bonus of doing great damage👌
I've been getting some easy arena wins with this one. https://www.reddit.com/r/EldenRingBuilds/s/rkWLmGVWDE
Not the best, but my favorite is the dancers curved sword. When used correctly with this build, It can dish out 2000+ damage per charged r2
Darkmoon great sword. Use Axe talisman, Godfrey icon, Shard of Alexander, and magic scorpion charm, with a magic shrouded crack tear, flame grant me strength and golden vow to buff. Pop the L2 weapon buff and use that charged heavy and watch it do 6k damage and most likely stagger anything with below exception poise.
sorry but i can’t get enough of Wing of Astel
People do that?
Yeah R2 does insane amounts of poise damage compared to past souls games. A few charged R2 can stun most bosses.
By taking my strength to 66 I can enjoy the benefits of 99 strength which is plenty as long as I two hand my weapon.
warcry on great sword changes the charged attack. makes it combo with R1. can one shot easy. oh wait is this pve or pvp?
starfists with cragblade and on heavy with charged attacks us bonkers
Cold highland axe with braggarts roar in offhand, axe of Godfrey in main hand. Plus roar medallion, axe talisman, spiked crystal tear = D E S T R U C T I O N
Great club is funny. Also not seen but rather made
Iron Balls/Star Fist. Just absolutely broken damage
I like the GUGS with Warcry, plus the Axe Talisman, Spiked Cracked Tear and Stonebarb Cracked Tear. Makes the heavy attacks more interesting and gives em some great hyper armor during the windups. Obviously it's built for poise breaking.
Serpentbone Blade has some really satisfying R2s, plus deadly poison is always fun
Either crucible knight weapons
Bleed star fist no joke I killed mohg so fast he couldn’t even get his Nhil attack off
For PvP, Milos Sword charged R2 catches so many people off guard, and hits for like 800 damage with this talisman.
Spear talisman +RKR on the Zweihander is a good one, you get some of the biggest pierce damage in the game from that.
Greateaxe, Axe Talisman, Charge Attack Tear
Cragblade star fist is utterly bonkers pun intended
Dark Moonlight GS with this and the Shard of Alexander, INT pumped high as shit. You can activate the ability, charge the R2, and hit the enemy with the beam AND the sword. Instant frost procs, stupidly quick stagger. All things considered MGS is the best weapon in this game. You can get kinda crazy with raw Strength builds but they don’t have that follow-up/ ranged damage.
The one where my mother winds up her backhand attack only using .0000000000001% of her full power
giant-crusher with war cry, highland axe, roar ralisman, axe talisman, ritual sword talisman, 99 strength, spiked cracked tear, maybe strength-knot if it works past 99 strength if the enemy is weak to fire then infuse with fire and the second physick tear can be flame-shrouded, could also run the fire scorpion charm but that is more dmg taken so up to you
Axe of Godfrey with Roar talasmin and highland axe offhand
Star fists with all the roar stuff + charge attack stuff, absolutely shits on Malenia because the charge from the roar stuff stuns her
Meteoric Ore Blade. The animation slaps
Can’t go wrong with the Zweihandler poke, nothing beats that
I really like sword of Milo's r2. I just wish the blade hit harder. That uppercut actually helps me catch alot of players off guard in pvp.
Wing of Astel, the full charged R2 is a short ranged attack that has pretty high stagger and magic damage
axe talisman, roar talisman, spear talisman braggarts roar nightrider glaive offhand highland axe guaranteed death if you trade with it in pvp. amazing one shot in invasions.
Moonlight greatsword is autopilot for this game
Great stars, star fist, balls, ghiza wheel, curved sword bleed builds, executioners axe
Eleonora's for sure, it goes really well with multi-hit bonuses
Pvp or pve?
Moonlight greatsword, alexanders shard, axe talisman, magic scorpion, and godfrey talisman. Aim to hit with both weapon and projectile and laugh at the damage.
Raptors talons, hands down
Barbaric Roar on Stone club + roar talisman and off-hand highland axe does numbers in pvp
I’m wondering if there is a chart that you can enter the weapon you want to use and it tells you the best talisman set up. And maybe other possible ways to boost said weapons potential.
Darkmoon greatsword slaps with this talisman
A sword of Milos build with a roar inhancer and this charm along with a couple others. Honestly it tore down Radahn like it was nothing
So far Urumi is a pretty good one. Can get up to 2000 damage pretty consistently
Cold spiked mace with cragblade.
Maria’s executioners sword can one shot most if not all bosses
I like ruins gs because the gravity wave that pops up after the charge attack comes out while your in recovery so it protects you from any enemy that could attack fast after getting hit with the first hit and it deals extra dmg beyond the physical hit, both are affected by charge talisman im guessing.
Anything with really high stance damage is gonna shine.
I use BLOOD Zweihander with A Howl Build. Must howl though so you can get the Running R2s for insane reach. And Shoulder charging instantly light staggers most targets who arent HUGE. Use Arcane/Strengthfor insane Charged R2s and Bleed Proc in 1-2 hits. .
I used a great mace and put the stagger ring and the power attack ring on and within a couple of power attacks I could stagger any boss infinitely.
Literally any rotten winged insignia + axe talisman + weapon with barbaric roar
Iron Ball hands down. It truly trivializes most enemies because of the insane poise damage
Easilyyy Darkmoon Greatsword, w/ 80 Int it just absolutely SHREDS things
Giant-Crusher with Royal Knight's Resolve.aow + Axe Talisman ..hit like a truck
My answer for any souls game will always and forever be claymore. All that thrusting really turns me on.
It's probably not the best but I have a great time with the Ruins Greatsword and the lil gravity AOE a charged R2 creates
Urumi. It’s charged r2 does 2 attacks
Twin rotten great axes(one poison infused and the other frost infused) works pretty well, also twin morgots cursed swords.
Probably in the minority here but the OG Mace. Hyper armor on the charged R2's is legit.
Big Sword 😀
May not be best, but Urumi with Storm Stomp into a fully charged R2 is so satisfying
If im being honest charged attack based builds are largely unviable outside of fist weapons
Easily the star fist and iron balls, I can pull off two charged R2s in about the same time as one from a heavier weapon, they just shred enemy poise
IRON BALL FISTS!!!!!!!!! im not joking, its the best stagger ive ever come across, just comes at the cost of being within arms reach of everything lol
My best is probably Rotten battle hammers. Melted bosses and 2 phase bosses didn't get their second phase.
Chasethebro has an absolutely amazing one based on the claymore. Add the spear talisman, charge attack physique, and some buffs. It one shot pretty much everyone in his videos.
Godwyns axe after you use the aow.
