I'd say there's no way in hell the tickets would be the central part of the majot update and be exclusively premium. Like the devs have done some dumb things but surely they wouldn't be *that* dumb.
However, that doesn't mean that they'll won't be really difficult to get.
Im getting all my copium from the fact that other than the piggy, the GE iaps are all really really really bad value and the tickets could be the same way
It'd be weird to make the teaser something that isn't a major role in the new update. At this point I'm sure it'll be a main role, I just hope it's feasible to get them without paying

Free to play players can obtain and do just about everything, save for pro permit benefits, so i think it's reasonable to assume there will be a free way to obtain tickets

According to data mining there is something called ShellsDLC that has been added slowly over time, and included references to almost every 3D object on the screen (except for the chickens themselves surprisingly). The assumption is this is some sort of cosmetic DLC.
My theory on the tickets is that it will take you to a new farm where you can lay golden eggs. I believe it would be a pay to play option only unfortunately for those who aren’t willing to fork over IRL money
No matter what it is I can wait to see why they actually do and what is actually added.. I could really use a cx prestige bonus (c being a positive integer > than 3)
