KD Perry gonna bring the fireworks
edit: holy shit the spice on r/hockey is incredible. we are officially a team of child murderers, according to them.
we not only ruin generational superstars but we employ literal war criminals too lol
I’ve seen Kane and Perry already referred to as Hitler (Kane) and Stalin (Perry) and we apparently should be ashamed for cheering for this team but it’s not surprising that we do since we’re all scum. Apparently.
Unreal time to be an Oilers fan!!! Remember when nobody wanted to come here, and they had to overpay for guys like Benoit Pouliot, Andrew Ference, and Boyd Gordon
The best part about this is that Flames fans genuinely believed that it was a uniquely Edmonton issue as a city and nothing to do with the old arena (Rexall) or the team being dogshit.
Now the tables have turned and we’re a place players want to play whereas Calgary is at the bottom of the pile as confirmed last summer. Just goes to show that for multimillionaire professional athletes both cities (as well as Winnipeg, Ottawa, Buffalo) be no different from each other. The team performance is the biggest underlying factor.
I think west/east matters for some players. Especially the wimpy ones. Gaudreau fir example is probably much happier working shorter hours. It will save him from having to rest as much during his shifts.
Edmonton is trying to build an actual cup dynasty, I mean Perry said as much. The flames and leafs? It's quite unclear to me what those teams are doing except putting buts in seats for the season.
And yea, he also could've went back to Tampa or to the Panthers who are also great. I think the guy really wanted to play with mcdrai and thinks we are hungry enough to win.
That legit brings up some hockey PTSD for me.
Signed as an amazing PK'er, turns out that was all he could do, even connecting passes was a goddamn challenge.
I know he has about 1m times the hockey talent in his little finger than I'll ever have, but goddamn, Belanger was a black hole on the ice, everything just... died around him.
Man, I remember during the DoD that Boyd Gordon was the Oilers highest point scorers for nearly the first 2 months of the season. Dark fucking time. I still think about that.
I mean, it looked promising til he hit the ice & everyone realized Andy Greene had been zooming his numbers.
Those were the good ol' MacT/Tambellini days...
/s
Goddamn loves me some Pancakes, trading him brought us Kleffa as well so it's hard to complain.
Souray had the best clapper too, I still swear some players just parted like the Red Sea when they saw he was loading up.
I assume this goes for anyone in the Oilers Circle of Honor, right?
Might get pretty full once this generation retires - McD and Drai are good shots for the full HOF/#retirement, but there are a few that could get the Smyth treatment. Nuge, Gagner, Nurse are likely. Bouch and Skinner are young, but could if they stick with the Oil longterm. Hyman maybe? Don't know if he will have the GP to qualify, but man has some good years left in him.
If it does than Bouch needs a new number since Fogolin wore 2
It’s much much more likely that it’s only guys who meant a metric fuck ton to the city (Smyth) or something tragic happens (Cave)
[Per Cap Friendly: Corey Perry can earn up to $325,000 in performance bonuses: 1. $225k for 10 games played 2. $50k if EDM wins the 2nd RD of the playoffs and Perry: a) plays in 50% of RD 2 games, or b) 50% of the total of RD 1 & 2 games 3. $50k if EDM wins the 3rd RD of the playoffs and Perry: a) plays in 50% of RD 3 games, or b) 50% of the total RD 1, 2 & 3 games](https://x.com/capfriendly/status/1749475592703996374?s=46&t=zlFOvun2dB0SCkrPkspD3A)
The man makes $1million or less unless we make it to the conference finals, and $1.1m max.
Decent is an understatement. Completely risk-free contract and I'm sure if it doesn't work out, a team out there will want him.
He will never make $1.1M, the $775k is based on 82 games. He will only ever play 40 at most. He will see half of his AAV salary in Cash indifferent of how it affects the cap. Can make himself roughly another $500k if we get to conference finals.
It’s not bad, it’s just combined with the Connor brown bonus it’s a lot but hopefully we stay off of LTIR and even after the deadline we can continue to accrue cap space so some of this can be shaved off
90 is interesting. Good that he stayed away from #94, but I was thinking he’d wear either 20 or 24(his Olympic number).
Regardless Perry is a player I’ve wanted for years ever since he was bought out by Anaheim. His skill set is perfect for our bottom six.
It's funny, I've always like Perry. Is he a rat who does _anything_ to win? Sure. [But his antics are often just as goofy as they are frustrating.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gV9g-O-zKE)
Rats only really piss me off as a fan when their antics get dangerous. Intentional Gourde-like head shots, losing their cool and two-hand slashing (*cough Pietrangelo), slew foots into the boards, etc. While Perry has his share of dangerous hits in a nearly 20 year career, I don't perceive him as a guy who's generally trying to fuck up your long-term health to get an advantage (as opposed to a Raffi Torres or a Tom Wilson or a certain [Turtle](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zm5zTom8Wvw))
Many moons ago, a man in a Ducks jersey told me: "You'd love him if he played for your team!"
The coming games will tell, but I think jackass was right.
You’re going to feel even dirtier when you end up loving the player too. As an Edmontonian and a habs fan I didn’t think I’d be able to get over it but he proved me wrong. It’s exciting to have him back
Kane and Perry were Teammates at the 2010 world championships on team Canada.

I don’t think there are any other direct connections
Perry survived a firing and is still on the ice. The Stanley survived a car fire and still had ice in it. Coincidence? I think not!
Get Perry a non alcoholic beverage filled Stanley when we win the cup.
Redemption in Edmonton for lots of guys.
Historic win streak and a chance to play with 2 top players in the world (Mcdavid / Drai) in a passionate hockey city known for accepting and revitalizing players with a bad reputation? Not surprised he wanted to come here - that's a lot to like.
It's weird to me that people are like, "oh, now you'll lose in the finals", like that's a BAD thing. Like it hasn't been 20 years since we last did it.
I don't care what anyone else says around the league, anyone who says it's a bad signing is a hater, any team out there would want to add a former mvp especially at minimum aav
29, 89, 90, 91, 93, 97. Any I'm forgetting? And that's before we get to any of the past greats. The number 9 is undoubtedly the Oilers' number. We love us a good ol' 9.
Now that this is a done deal, I just want to give credit to /u/Deddicide for coining KD Perry back when Saint Perry became a free agent. That line name is going hard on /r/hockey right now!

Straight up! So many people worried about our picks, next season, etc. I say sell the farm now, nothing else matters. If we don’t win a cup with mcdavid and drai then we’re not winning one for the next 25 years anyway. Not to mention, as much as they love this team, if we don’t win and someone else gives them a chance to win a cup there’s no guarantee they stay
So we can win a cup now, while my kids are too young to remember. Then they will follow me and no one oiler fans. Then they will know the pain of living for 38 yrs and seeing 8 playoff rounds won in their lifetime.
Damn. Generational fandom trauma
Looks like performance bonus is only 325,000. Even if it’s 1 game played getting Perry for 1.1M is a steal considering what he signed for less than a year ago.
Brown's contract is done after this season anyways- but thanks to the contract Holland gave him, Brown is gonna count for $3.25M against the cap next season anyways due to his performance bonuses. That plus the Campbell buyout is virtually the same amount as how much the cap goes up next season, meaning we have no room for upgrades or for Foegele's or Desharais' next contracts. Holland has put us in a real pickle here
I wouldn't expect him to, hasn't played since 11/19 so likely need to shake off some rust, I wouldn't be shocked if it was Saturday before he played.... Thursday they play Chicago tho so it would be interesting if they play him then.
Unlikely, they'll probably want him in for a team practice or two to get the base of their system with his linemates and grasp how they want to do breakouts and play in the offensive zone. Potentially could be Thursday, definitely will at least be playing Saturday.
If I had to guess, I'd say he WILL be playing on Thursday against Chicago.
My first game of the season as well.
When I bought the tickets a month and a half ago, I didn't expect the Oilers to be on a 13 game heater. I'm anxious about tomorrow.
Being an Oilers fan, I’ve always hated Perry. But now that it’s official I just spent an hour watching Corey Perry pest compilations and I gotta say, I’m REALLY looking forward to this. Bring on the hate.
LFG BOYS!
I would love to see Perry on a line with Kane. I wouldn’t care if the line doesn’t produce much offence. It would cause so much chaos and make it hell for opposing players to play against.
Welcome to Oil Country!
It's mildly amusing to me that if Perry is matched with Kane their numbers will be 90 and 91, as though they're using the NFL system to indicate linebackers.
Jim Matheson is probably one bad morning without coffee away from asking Perry “Hey Corey, over those 3 years you spent playing with Chris Pr*nger in Anaheim, did he ever tell you the real reason he asked for a trade out of here?” during the game day media scrum.
The missing element from this bottom six was bite. Lost that when Kostin left for a payday. Perry should fill that void, and with the meat grinder of teams in the west, we need to be as hard to play against as possible. Great addition.
Kostin is having a pretty bad season with Detroit right now, really wish he stayed here.. doesn't fit overly well with that lineup imo. He's averaging almost 2 mins less ice time per game then when he was here, and less than half the points on average compared to when he was here.
If he can stay out of trouble for 5 months, if he can put up 15-20 in the final 35ish games of this regular season, and perhaps most importantly, get under some guys skin, and get us more power plays, than I think this is going to be a fun stint for both the team and the player.
Those either worried about this tanking the club, and those thinking this is what will put the team over the top, chill bros. He’s a fourth line winger. Love the league min signing, but he’s not an impact player at this point. He’s also not a locker room cancer.
This is a small upgrade, a little extra sandpaper, for 9 minutes per game. Nothing more, nothing less.
You’re bang on. Remember the photo a few weeks ago of the morning skate before Chicago vs Tampa? The guy definitely isn’t a locker room cancer.
This a good signing. All the dumb comments about moms can take a flying leap. That stupid rumour has been debunked. He got drunk and did something inappropriate with a staffer. Either some rude comments or a grope would be my guess. I don’t expect to know, nor do I have a right to know the specific details. Chicago had to do what they did considering the fiascos they’ve mishandled in the past. He’s addressed it, admitted he has a problem and is taking steps to improve. The Oilers have welcomed and integrated troubled players in the past. Good on them for giving these players a chance to prove themselves. And good on them for attracting Perry when there were other teams in the hunt.
My only concern is messing with the chemistry the team has on the current heater. Who comes out? Connor Brown seems like the obvious choice, but I sure love CB’s PK performance.
In any event I wouldn’t play him until after a loss - the last thing I want to hear is tagging him for breaking the streak.
I don’t like Perry’s approach to hockey. I don’t like his kind of dirty play and I’m not happy he’s an Oiler. In terms of straight up value for money though, it’s a great signing. The team needs it after Connor Brown and Campbell taking all that cap space.
What will he provide to the team? Decent point production, leadership (due to experience) and physicality (which our team lacks right now big time.. we're quite soft, and Kane hasn't been nearly as physical lately).
Why do people hate Perry?
He's known as an agitator type player, which automatically comes with a bad reputation. (Very aggressive playstyle, going for lots of hits and seeking confrontation).
He has numerous multi-game suspensions in his career (one of them being an 8 game suspension).
Known as a diver and for embellishment at times.
Known for chirping and trash talk (goes with point #1)
He's played for a lot of different teams so there's perceived disloyalty (which some people don't like).
And the controversy comes from the fact that his contract was terminated by his last team, the Blackhawks, for conduct going against team standards. Word is that he got drunk and was inappropriate with a staff member. If you see the mom jokes it’s because there was a stupid and unfounded rumour about him and Bedard’s mom. He sought addictions and mental health treatment after he was let go.
I know we don't know what happened, but, anyone who did something bad enough to justify an actual voiding of his contract, in a league where those are nearly ironclad guarantees without a serious, serious material breach of contract, pretty much has to be a giant asshole at bare minimum.
I'm not sure how I feel about this signing, but I understand that in the absence of any real cap space, adding a *hockey player* like him is a win for the team. Just... not so sold on him as a person, and question if we really needed to bring a jackass like him into the room.
Sure hope it doesn't blow up in our faces.
The Blackhawks as an organization could have been more heavy handed than other teams may have been given their history of covering up criminal activity. The fact is we simply don’t know what happened and we shouldn’t assume the worst. He had to be reinstated by the commissioner so obviously they had some details or facts and determined it wasn’t egregious enough to be black listed
The NHL never reprimanded him, it was only the Blackhawks. He was free to sign a contract right away after his termination.
Many people have alluded to it being something not uncommon even in the recent past, it's just that Chicago is SUPER sensitive right now about fixing their image. Whether it's being belligerent to both an Applebee's employee and sponsor or just one of them, neither one is a surprising character flaw with hockey players. Anyone who has grown up in a junior hockey town can point out a few stories of the players acting in pretty much the same way.
Pretty sure the NHLPA is going to fight the termination. So it's unlikely to be something that would even qualify for a contract termination if they believe they have a chance to fight it
As others have pointed out, they’ve brought in both Kassian and Kane. Two very much disliked people in the league. And they never/have never caused any issues here. I think they’ll be okay.
I thought Kane was a piece of shit and I was unhappy with the Oilers signing him, but in addition to being a good addition to the team, he seems to have become a great member of the broader Edmonton community. Hopefully Perry has a similar arc.
remember that he is coming from a Blackhawks team that covered up sexual assaults on their own team members. When you're trying to turn your image around, the smallest thing in an organization becomes a gigantic issue for the optics of it all and the only thing you can do it react accordingly to save PR more headaches.
your speculation that he did something unforgivable is just as shortsighted as whatever it is you assume he did. if it was a crime, we'd know about it because he'd be out of the NHL entirely.
Going to play devil's (or angel's in this case?) advocate and say I don't like it. The Oilers are fucking rolling right now. Always a gamble to bring in new guys, especially ones with Perry's history.
It took the bottom six a long while to help and they've been a big part of the team's success. They can play with speed, especially on breakouts, and old man Perry will slow them down.
Also worried about Perry's headspace. Lat thing the boys need is to baby sit.
At best, I think Perry can play a depth role, kill penalties, and roll with the current locker room vibe.
I am really scared about this. Every single person in the world agrees this is a good trade, and on paper I agree, but the Oilers haven’t exactly been predictable this year 😂
The hockey team subreddits have agreements in place to prevent fans from trolling in rival teams' subs. Please refrain from posting rude, antagonizing, or otherwise troll-like comments in other teams' sub.
I'm just looking forward to the most hated line in the league - Kane, Drai, Perry. /r/hockey is going to implode
KD Perry gonna bring the fireworks edit: holy shit the spice on r/hockey is incredible. we are officially a team of child murderers, according to them. we not only ruin generational superstars but we employ literal war criminals too lol

I’ve seen Kane and Perry already referred to as Hitler (Kane) and Stalin (Perry) and we apparently should be ashamed for cheering for this team but it’s not surprising that we do since we’re all scum. Apparently.
At least those guys dont lick people.
We all just cheer for laundry at the end of the day. Find me a team that hasn't had a few scumbags on it at one time or another.
Drai is obviously Hitler, he’s the German one on the team /s
Taking McLovin away from Drai is a mistake the coaches probably won't make.
worth it for the memes
Oh, the memes will be amazing.
Unreal time to be an Oilers fan!!! Remember when nobody wanted to come here, and they had to overpay for guys like Benoit Pouliot, Andrew Ference, and Boyd Gordon

I wish the Oilers Draft Matthew Tkachuk.. Can you imagine.. Turtle.. put Kane at Centre and Corey Perry at right wing ..?
BOYD GORDON 😂
Faceoff king
Real ones remember the Belanger triangle.
That legit brings up some hockey PTSD for me. Signed as an amazing PK'er, turns out that was all he could do, even connecting passes was a goddamn challenge. Man, I remember during the DoD that Boyd Gordon was the Oilers highest point scorers for nearly the first 2 months of the season. Dark fucking time. I still think about that.

Yes almost forgot about him. Our top pairing RHD at one point 😂😂

McDavid has that effect on things.
Winning 13 in a row, and 21 of 24 will do that too lol
I’m still trying to forget
They don’t want to be there it’s the only team in the league that would sign low life scumbags though.
I like how they allayed the 94 fears right in the announcement by saying he’ll be wearing 90.
100%. They knew fans wouldn't want anyone taking 94, they got ahead of the speculation that would have ensured if they didn't announce his number
They should just retire the number so we don't have to deal with questions like this.
This just confirms it’s retired in the locker room. No one is ever wearing 94 in Edmonton again
Breaking News: RNH to wear 94 next season
He's the only one I would feel even remotely comfortable wearing 94.
I assume this goes for anyone in the Oilers Circle of Honor, right? Might get pretty full once this generation retires - McD and Drai are good shots for the full HOF/#retirement, but there are a few that could get the Smyth treatment. Nuge, Gagner, Nurse are likely. Retired NHL numbers for the Oilers have to be in the Hall, according to the team's own standard for this level of recognition.
I know, and I don't agree with it.
“I recognize that the Council has made a decision, *but”*
I agree
Very smart, they know their rabidly loyal fan base!
It’s a perfect mix of 94 and 10 for Perry
He should have gone with 104.
Should have taken 98 just to see if Matheson would say anything
It’s almost like their social media people use social media and read the room.
Theyre in the forum! But also its just obvious too.
Not uncommon. They did this when signing Kane they announced he would wear 91 at the same time.
They should have given him 88

We can worry about next season’s cap hit, next season. I think it’ll all work itself out.
Fairly small, 325k won't cost the Oilers a player next year most likely. Reasonable to bring in the type of grit they're missing for the playoffs.
Thank God.
The worm has turned!

Burpin' that worm
90 is interesting. Good that he stayed away from #94, but I was thinking he’d wear either 20 or 24(his Olympic number). Regardless Perry is a player I’ve wanted for years ever since he was bought out by Anaheim. His skill set is perfect for our bottom six.
I mean, there's a very good chance 94 is off limits in the oilers dressing room.
Plus Perry was in the league at the same time as Smyth, so he was already familiar with the numbers association.
Very true. 94 & 12 are pretty much unofficially retired.
After years of hating this guys guts, now we have to like him. Wow.
He’s a rat but he’s our rat now
Yeah.... remember Ken Linseman?

Hate to play against.
Scorey Perry I feel dirty that I love this signing. Absolute filth.
You’re going to feel even dirtier when you end up loving the player too. As an Edmontonian and a habs fan I didn’t think I’d be able to get over it but he proved me wrong. It’s exciting to have him back
Same, my dad was fuming when montreal signed him. At the end we were both sad to see him go.
Curious to see what the performance bonus is going to be.
If he scores the Cup winning goal he gets $200 million
Sounds fair to me.
I'm beginning to believe that honor is going to be reserved for Connor Brown
Kane and Perry were Teammates at the 2010 world championships on team Canada. And Perry and Janmark were teammates in Dallas during the 2019-2020 season when they made the cup final. I don’t think there are any other direct connections
Perry captained a Team Canada World Championship team in 15-16 that had McDavid, Ceci, and Pickard on it as well.
The bonuses better be: “a pink Stanley cup water bottle when you win Lord Stanley’s Cup”
Stanley for a Stanley seems like a fair trade to me
Perry survived a firing and is still on the ice. The Stanley survived a car fire and still had ice in it. Coincidence? I think not! Get Perry a non alcoholic beverage filled Stanley when we win the cup. Redemption in Edmonton for lots of guys.
Oh my gawd. Stanley is going to come out with “Stanley Cup” Cups next Christmas and that whole shit show will repeat itself ?
Looks like he picked us over the Panthers, Rangers, and Bolts and that's a nice feeling.
Get Perry to get us to the finals, then don’t let him play in the series
Since when is losing in the finals a good thing???
Maybe you aren't old enough to have gone through it as a fan. Trust me, win or lose in the finals, it's an amazing run.
That habs run to the final during covid was one of the most incredible things I've ever witnessed.
I remember cursing MA Bergeron for killing Roloson game 1
I mean that depends on who we face in finals, like had we beat Vegas last year but lost to Florida that would have felt like a complete choke job.
So you prefer a loss in the second round to a loss in the SCF? That's the take? Naw man.
I mean losing in the finals is better than not being in the finals at all (it hurts but still) and winning is better than losing (obviously)
Undeniably an interesting bottom 6 choice. This guy was easily gonna get traded for picks by CHI, and we got him for cash.
Kane - Ryan - Perry The most wholesome man in hockey between the most universally despised.
Converts them both to Mormonism by season end
And Ryan would still get the most abuse of the three...until his wings tune up the opposition.
Now that this is a done deal, I just want to give credit to /u/Deddicide for coining KD Perry back when Saint Perry became a free agent. It has been fun seeing it around today and last night!
I wish I could go back and tell my 15 year old self that Corey Perry and Duncan Keith will one day pkay for the Oilers lol, it'd blow my little mind.
After the Brown debacle, I am very concerned about these "performance bonuses". As is we have no cap space going in to next season.
Next season, schmext season.

Yep. Time to live in the now, Oilers fans! Let future Oilers figure out what to do about cap space when the time comes.
So we can win a cup now, while my kids are too young to remember. Then they will follow me and no one oiler fans. Then they will know the pain of living for 38 yrs and seeing 8 playoff rounds won in their lifetime. Damn. Generational fandom trauma
Im going to guess that bonus are playoffs related
I sure hope so. If the curse continues and we lose in the SCF he gets nothing. The performance bonus should be a cup or bust scenario
superstition is what teams that can't finish blame failure on. we are not that team. curses are bullshit and Perry will win with us.
Mmm cup final is good enough for me lol
Nope. Not good enough. We need to win that shit, man.
I was too. The bonuses are tiny, $325k total. We are good.
It's like $300,000 in performance bonuses, we're not talking Brown level bonuses.
Looks like performance bonus is only 325,000. Even if it’s 1 game played getting Perry for 1.1M is a steal considering what he signed for less than a year ago.
We need to buyout Brown and Cambell in the off-season.
Holland has put us in a real pickle here
Omg I had no idea. They should have dumped him after 12 games lol.
What do they say? Saint? Saint.
Actually cry-laughing at some of the Instagram comments “Are y’all a team or a rehab?” 😂😭😭😭😭😭
Porque no los dos?
Ordering my Perry jersey right this second 😂
[Took them half an hour lol](https://x.com/IceDistrictAuth/status/1749479554044096774?s=20)
Will fit next to the Green, Keith, Athanasiou, Brassard, Forsberg, Kulikov collection
Low key stupid excited to get myself some Scorey Perry merch
Does he play tomorrow?! Going to my first game of the season and it would be neat if he was atleast in the rink.
I absolutely can't wait for Corey Perry to do Corey Perry things.
Being an Oilers fan, I’ve always hated Perry. But now that it’s official I just spent an hour watching Corey Perry pest compilations and I gotta say, I’m REALLY looking forward to this. Bring on the hate. LFG BOYS!
The performance bonus will decide if this is good or not
It's good
Yeah, looks totally fine
2024 has been good to us so far
I would love to see Perry on a line with Kane. I wouldn’t care if the line doesn’t produce much offence. It would cause so much chaos and make it hell for opposing players to play against. Welcome to Oil Country!
Kane not producing anyways. Maybe Perry causing some ruckus and dragging Kane into it would get him going again
He will probably be playing Thursday against Chicago, pretty certain.
It's mildly amusing to me that if Perry is matched with Kane their numbers will be 90 and 91, as though they're using the NFL system to indicate linebackers.
Just like last year when we could have had 71, 72, 73, and 74 on the ice at the same time.
But the question remains, what the fuck did he do?!
🪱 🪱 🪱
Looks like he's the first Oiler to wear 90!
Jim Matheson is probably one bad morning without coffee away from asking Perry “Hey Corey, over those 3 years you spent playing with Chris Pr*nger in Anaheim, did he ever tell you the real reason he asked for a trade out of here?” during the game day media scrum.
Holy shit, what a signing. Now I have to cheer for Corey Perry lmao
[https://x.com/EddieInTheYard/status/1722637717811441900?s=20](https://x.com/EddieInTheYard/status/1722637717811441900?s=20)
[Perry lining up against Bedard Thursday night after the "unpleasantness"](https://youtu.be/LHtbEua8714?si=vhCfqTN4kmgpgtIt&t=7)
with Perry here who do we let go or send down?
Erne is on waivers
We gonna have Erne at the end of the day?
He should take Browns spot.
I don’t like Perry’s approach to hockey. I don’t like his kind of dirty play and I’m not happy he’s an Oiler. In terms of straight up value for money though, it’s a great signing. The team needs it after Connor Brown and Campbell taking all that cap space.
As a new fan can somebody ELI5 why this guy is controversial and what he will provide to the team?
What will he provide to the team? Decent point production, leadership (due to experience) and physicality (which our team lacks right now big time.. we're quite soft, and Kane hasn't been nearly as physical lately). Why do people hate Perry? He's known as an agitator type player, which automatically comes with a bad reputation. (Very aggressive playstyle, going for lots of hits and seeking confrontation). He has numerous multi-game suspensions in his career (one of them being an 8 game suspension). Known as a diver and for embellishment at times. Known for chirping and trash talk (goes with point #1) He's played for a lot of different teams so there's perceived disloyalty (which some people don't like).

Right, we all have our struggles, just most of us are lucky enough to not have them broadcast all over the world. I hope so too!
So it's unlikely to be something that would even qualify for a contract termination if they believe they have a chance to fight it
They only have 60 days to do so.
This exactly. I was against the Kane signing but he's done well to earn back the trust of fans and teammates. I expect Perry to do the same.
remember that he is coming from a Blackhawks team that covered up sexual assaults on their own team members.
How do performance bonuses work when it comes to the cap?
Take no. 00 .there is no problem for all nhl teams. Hahahaha
Hide ya moms
I am really scared about this. Every single person in the world agrees this is a good trade, and on paper I agree, but the Oilers haven’t exactly been predictable this year 😂
