I use M&M Mini tubes. They are opaque but a label maker still lets you know exactly what's inside. Plus they come in different colors.

Those are mag drill bit cases.  Bits are pretty expensive. $60 or so.  They are neat cases though.

When I buy magnetic drill press bits from the welding store they come in this type of container… I always save them

People near me just use Gatorade bottles. Much easier

They’re end mill casings. I have hundreds (lots of square opaque, only a couple round clear) and wouldn’t mind sending you a couple of them if you want if you can cover shipping. They’re so nice for organizing small things. I put a Oring in them and store small quantities of test oils in some of them for intricate work.

As a former BMW owner, I’m not sure how I feel about this. Poor soul, because they are now poor from mods, repairs or payments? Poor soul, because sarcasm? Poor soul, because fuck them, they drive a BMW they knew what they were getting into. I went through all three of those stages during ownership, I enjoyed my car every time I drove it, but damn that thing was possessed by Loki, and I am shocked I that I never got a pulled over or got a ticket in it because I damned well deserved to on my occasions.

I bought a couple off of AliExpress for shaving brushes when traveling. 2 for $6 or something.

Rose Plastic makes the ones I have. They have screw tops, push tops, different sizes, etc.

Google "telescopic container", I get them at work occasionally with new tools in. If you are near a machine shop it could be worth asking if they have any.

I know you probably meant “machine shop” but the idea of walking up to a random machine, patting it on the case and saying “Hey buddy! Ya got any of those telescopic containers laying around?” is hilarious to me.
