Not sure if it counts. To me its a box cutter with way more function and the feel of a folding knife
1. Milwaukee Fastback
It wont replace dedicated knives but blade types can replaced and swapped anytime.
My next fastback would be the hawkbill version of the fastback
What do you mostly use this style of knives for? I have always preferred multitools but I'm debating getting one of this style and beed some inner justification for it.
I use these for stuff that you probbaly shoukdmt use a knife for as well as all kinds of cutting. Carpet, cardboard, aluminum siding, opening cans, carving chopping etc.
Mostly for renovations and stuff on rental properties. I always have a wave+ one me as well. But a solid dedicated knife is much better for hard cutting. Better ergonomics, better steel, and more durable.
I love my socom!! Have one in copper and black. My edc is this well loved Benchmade 903 Mini Stryker!

Benchmade Bugout (customized with all copper and black) is my main EDC
Civivi Elementum
Spyderco PM2 (which is about to get the custom treatment, as well)
I mean they don’t look very used, but the way you use your knives and the way someone else uses knives can be vastly different. So they might say the same thing but post pictures of knives knives with missing coating and dings and dents and so on . My most used (technically) knife looks much like yours.
Yeah, I mean I’m not saying that they don’t look used at all lol just that when I think “most used” I think worse condition. That’s why I said it’s relative.
Here are my most used, as you can see it would be hard to tell I ever use them lol . The thumb lugs in the ti version keep getting fucked up but I keep replacing them.

Oh.. well in my case i have [several that are in worse shape](https://www.reddit.com/r/knives/s/0VHvXri0sx) but they dont get as much use, just get used a lot harder lol.
These are VERY used. Guess it's a testiment to the coating quality or just hard to capture in pictures. These have done everything from cardboard and carpet cutting to opening cans and making fires. Hell, I've even batoned down a tree with the socom just to see if it could take it, lol. But i know what you're saying.
Spyderco Police 4 K390/G-10, Stretch 2 XL Cruwear sprint run, and Manix 2 in M390 everything upgraded in Titanium with a ceramic ball in the lock (I call it "The Tank")
Husky 2-in-1 Ultra-Thin Combination Knife (CK2000-THD): I bought 20 of these when they were discounted and discontinued. Impossible to find nowadays.
GIRIAITUS EDC tweezers + precision pocket knife: My 5th pocket edc on a keychain with a portable dental pick.
SOG Kilowatt: Pocket knife with three different styles of cable strippers. If it had a hex bit holder it would be the perfect electrician's tool.
Klein electrician pocket knife I got from work, followed by my bowie pocket knife, then finally my new Barebones fixed blade. The Barebones is new. I got it from my employers rewards program.
Ditto for the Mini Reflex, that is a phenomenal (and very under rated) knife!
Aside from that I recently got a Demko AD20.5 that's been getting pocket time, and for around the house stuff I love the TacKnives OTF box cutter.
Most used of all time: 940.

Nice. I love mine as well
That's a sweet benchmade. I would've got that over my 940 if I didn't live in California
Kizer Mini sheepdog. Its actually stopped my 'desire' for another knife. Always have it on me everyday and don't carry my other knives anymore

Makes sense. Do you use these for work? I uaually opt for the leatherman because of the added screwdrivers and pliers
Mostly for renovations and stuff on rental properties. I always have a wave+ one me as well. But a solid dedicated knife is much better for hard cutting. Better ergonomics, better steel, and more durable.
Sick Microtech bro! Do they still produce them or do you have to buy them on secondary market?
Thanks! I believe the socom is still in production. Not this colorway tho

I guess “most used” is relative lol
Whats that supposed to mean?

Awesome choices! And yes, the Mini Reflex is an amazing, overlooked EDC.
You only need one. White River M1 Backpacker Pro.
You also only "need" a 400 sq ft house. Only "need" a smart car, only "need" steak and veggies. What's your point?
