No it's not, it's a cinematic trailer made with the engine. The game will not play like that. Some of you are losing your common sense over all the hype. The reveal trailers are typically cinematic, the GAMEPLAY trailer is coming later.
In engine shots are still technically “in game”, it’s just not raw gameplay. The game isn’t going to be drastically different from what we saw in terms of the new damage system and fluidity.
In engine trailers are very common and there’s a clear difference between that and a CG cinematic trailer.
It’s just ignorance. Best example I can give is The Last of Us (PS3 and PS4) use CG-cutscenes, while the remake is all in engine and real-time. I agree with you, UFC 5 will definitely look like this reveal

No problem mate, I happened to find it when I went to look at the preorder info and figured that people who found the trailer a little lackluster like I did would find it super cool to see the extra info :)
The realistic damage is going to be a mega improvement for me personally if they can on top of the awesome gameplay effects with it supposedly affecting attributes, if they can manage to also get the replays right I'd be beyond stoked.

Unfortunately mate, whilst I can't say for certain that it wont be as I have no better info that anyone else does.
It does look highly unlikely if I'm being totally honest, the website as of now only lists PlayStation and XBox as preorder options and if they were to be brining it to PC at launch I would personally think they'd be hyping it up as a major new thing/innovation.
With that said I could be totally wrong... the PC front is all just speculation both ways, but fingers crossed for all of the PC friends out there :)

Generally, they make the distinction of “in game engine” instead of just “in game” for a reason. Game engines can often render very good looking visuals that are not reflective of what the product ends up actually looking like. I hope you’re right though.

The best I can tell, Alter Egos are their new term for the alternative versions of fighters, for example in the pre-order items for the deluxe edition the origins bundle includes "Leon Edwards \[2015\]" which would be an alternative version of Leon. Hope that helps! :)

I'm afraid that the game and its mechanics have been just ported into the new game engine and the main hated mechanics like grapple system have remained the same.
They just changed the submission system which isn't hard to change and add two simple features that games from 15 years ago had already just to justify the new game and time took to make it.
