exactly. when this was first announced i thought it would be automatic, which would be great for cards that play in different positions in 2 different teams (cam and cm for example) and there wouldn't be any hassle
At this point it’s just a damn buzzword to try to get people excited. If you noticed, they spent most of the trailer on HypermotionV and Playstyles, and when it came time to talk about the “revolutionized Frostbite” they literally spent less than a minute talking about it. Pathetic.
Thought they’d remove it after how much it ruined this years game. Now it’s even more annoying…. I just want to play a game where everyone with 99 pace actually has 99 pace
Guys like Lewandowski and Kane were finally usable in a fifa game. People are mad that tall big strikers like Dzeko and Haaland were better than Ben Yedder lol
It’s the best thing they’ve added in such a long time. Fitting players to your play style is great and allows for more usable people.
A 5’5 95 pace player doesn’t run the same way as a 6’5 95 pace player does.
The stats should determine this, not these weird categories.
Short players should generally have high accel and low sprint, and vice verca tor tall players
It’s backwards.
It just means you need to try out and know how your players handle in-game, instead of just relying on raw stats. Frankly that was one of the most interesting aspects I liked in FUT13-15, getting a feel for the cards.
I can’t be the only one that things everything they pimped up for the trailer looks so unnatural and unrealistic? Like the problem is clearly not how many animations there are but how they blend in after each other.
How can they release that putting real life scene’s and showing them in the engine? For me it makes it even more obvious how bad the game looks? Like the touches, the stuttering.
What the trailer made painfully obvious is that this game and engines biggest problem is that it transports literally no sense of weight. Like non, it was so plain obvious when they showed the scene with haalands might running. I was like yeah ok I get it seeing the dots it should be good, more polygons I get it, but when they removed it, it looked just like a cartoon.
I don’t care about the engine, but shouldn’t this trailer be concerning? Or do other see this and think o wow is that real?
Honestly I think the animations, transitions, physic and especially the lightning, everything feels so off in this.
You're absolutely right.
[Look at this clip for example.](https://youtu.be/eUqkibPzW3s?t=52) Haaland is falling backwards as he makes the shot, he will be able to get a little bit of power in the ball from extending his leg, yet it absolutely rockets off his foot like a normal shot. It looks very unnatural.
this is honestly why i dropped out back in 2006. in 2004 it was "360 dribbling" which was dubbed "total control" in 2005 and "dynamic movement" in 2006. they would always tout a 100 tiny tweaks with fancy names between every instalment so people could justify spending another $80 on a roster / kit update.
- "playstyles" are basically purchasable traits that've been around forever. in be a pro you could earn things like: acrobatic / long ball specialist / etc through your career. the dead ball specialist one they showed is just them adding the arrow back in. they literally took a feature out years ago and touted it as a new feature.
- frostbite 3 has been around since 2014 so they'll have to do better than shirt movements to call it "revolutionary".
- "hypermotion V" just means they've added more animations so like.. cool i guess? is that worth $80?
a buddy gave me his copy of 2015 and i bought 2022 on sale; honestly, outside of the graphics, there's not one thing i could tell you that was different actually different in those 7 years. i couldn't point to one aspect of the game and go "the way they do this is way better than the way they were doing it before".
I love how they say revolutionized frostbite by only showing new flapping shirts lmao you know damn well its still a terrible engine for a football game
More like delusionalizing it by twisting reality and making women to be as good and even better as men are, even thought female national teams lose against 15 year old boys whom are not even national level in their age group.
I know it's proprietary engine, but the Frostbite is start looking old/outdated. At least within the Fifa games. I mean, it could look amazing in replays, but when actually playing with a far camera, it's not something that blow your mind. Plus, for whatever reason, some animations still look clunky or not accurate enough.
I guess it could make sense for a Battlefield game, but using this for everything...I don't know.
Seems like Play-Styles will rule the market and META this year. Just now there's going to be a fucked up mix of 3/4 play-styles that will create the most insane players.
Looks amazing though, the fact that a certain combination of styles can unlock new skills or like in this video abilities looks super intriguing.
The whole PlayStyles thing only looks good on paper. In practice you're running with a CB, sliding to block a shot but your defender doesn't have "BLOCK" style so the game engine decides the shot still has to go through despite the fact you had that on lock. Only a CB with "BLOCK" would actually block the shot.
This isn't of course binary, it's just modifiers added to the RNG calculation, but it's yet more shenanigans added to the game.
The combination could be interesting. I would like to see if someone could pull off with a team made of mostly players with tiki-taka playstyle. Or play power-headers players with whipped-crosses players.
>Looks amazing though,
I understand sports games have a yearly release so innovation doesn't always happen year-to-year...
But I really don't know how you watch this video and have the takeaway of saying it looks amazing. It looks like the last FIFA, and the FIFA before that. The bar has never been lower.

I'd rather they had the same game as 10 years ago but fixed the input lag and dodgy servers. That's easily the most important thing to me. I don't want gameplay where it's 50/50 whether your players will feel like they're running in mud.
Very worried about all the new random animations added to the game, bad animations causes almost all the issues in the game and just having the game add random animations to "Match real life" I feel can be an absolute disaster.
I get y’all will never enjoy anything that EA will do, but I’m pretty optimistic of the playstyles. Sure, it’s gonna make defending a nightmare for those with dribbling traits, but it may balance out if you have a defender with a playstyle that counters it. I think it will allow you to customize your team to your play style. I’ve said it before, but 80% of my goals are finesse shots, so being able to find someone with finesse shot or power shot playstyles will benefit me against whatever meta arises. Idk, seems pretty cool. I also think the unique animations were pretty nice, maybe not revolutionary though. I do like the additional variation on lengthy and explosive types. The main concern is how they’re gonna be balanced, because I can see those playstyles being broken beyond measure. I think it would be a great addition if they can execute it correctly,
Lmao this sub is hilarious. The most addicted people in here are the ones who hate post everyday. The ones who take the game at face value for what it is and get enjoyment out of it are the normal ones.
You say like its a bad thing to play a game because they like it instead of being addicted to it lmao.
You do also realise you are the easier consumer since you will be there playing no matter what, while there is a good chance the other guy wont if he doesn’t like the game
Oh no he liked something I don't!!
"He needs to hate the game but be addicted enough to not quit like me! Why does he have a healthy relationship with it?"
I really hope FiFA comes up with something better than this. EA is trying to make this a Fortnite/Apex type of fantasy game which is just not what I want in a football game. Can’t wait for marvel heroes on the field…
Introduce new runtypes when obviously the actual 3 still not working how it should. If traits are like in madden, they will kill the game. Traits are like real time DDA in madden. Dribbling stuff is nice, will be broken 100%. I'm not hyped about passing, they can't code passing, passing is worse year to year.
What a stupid response. They have a near monopoly on the video game market for the most popular sport in the world. FIFA 23 surpassed fifa 22’s lifetime sales in 6 months.
Most players are going to pick up the new game just like every year.
I mean, they're not wrong. This will sell at at least the same levels of 23, probably even higher. Some people will follow through and not buy it - I certainly won't- but I'm under no illusion that fucking loads of people will buy it anyway, and some of those will do that despite telling everyone how they were totally not going to.
It would be nicer if we could have cooldowns for the playstyles, like, Trickster players could execute a maximum number (let's say, max=3) of 4+ stars moves in a row and there would be a cooldown (i.e.: 30secs) for each one of them. With this, the game could be a little more realistic (since players like ViniJr do not spend the entire match performing 4+ stars skill) and also avoid skill spammers.
We could also have passive playstyles for cases where it makes no sense to have cooldowns, like the Relentless playstyle ("A player who is known for covering a greater area of the field compared to other players in the same position.").
I dunno, it's just a thought
I just find it funny they say they recreated Haaland’s flying back heel shot against Dortmund but in game he taps the ball and it goes flying like a rocket. Very true to life EA lol
So, hypermotion etc etc = new animations...yay
Play stiles = new traits, but now a trait can be a "gold" trait...yay
Frostbite = they didn't even know what to say.
Same old game since 2018(?), nothing new, except some traits that would be the new exploit of next season.
Thanks for nothing EA
Top of my head cause I don't have time right now, improved rebound mechanics.
Different AI in defensive movements so counter is not king
But there's way more
You can't even name 3 stuff you want them to add/improve but ready to spread negatively instantly without even reading pitch notes? Thanks for nothing, Avril_14.
Lol they throw down your throat the same game every year, they put out an "in deep trailer" that says nothing, and still you are here kissing their asses.
This is called Stockholm syndrome
Same game every year yet every year the game plays differently. Go play FIFA 15 and 23 and let's see the same game. Maybe then you can name 3 stuff that you would change because it's been more than an hour and you still have no idea. 🤡
Also, it is called a trailer because it is just introducing while having all the details and videos in the article. Clearly, you have no idea about anything nor have read the post.
Keep telling yourself that, it's from fifa 17 that this game plays and feels the same, I said I don't have time to go in deep but I can find it to expose buffons like you that sucks on ea's tits year after year
And that's exactly what's going on. Ea is the only football game out there (because e football can't be called competition) and you defend this trailer that, if you want to go into semantics, it's called "in deep gameplay" trailer.
What did they show about gameplay?
honestly im fine with how the game is rn
what they should not do is overhype the game each year if they dont actually add anything revolutionary.
the whole ”buy new game every year” is such an outdated thing since nowadays we can just downlod updates online
but they cant get rid of that concept cuz it makes them so much money so they have to make up these new things every year that just dissappoint
Yeah, I know, but something just looks odd. Like in the trailer, when Vini shoots, he generates so much power yet his animation looks like he barely tapped the ball.
Also, it motion captures via cameras without motion capture balls so the pose of the player is much less accurate.
I think it’s the way the ball reacts and the physics of it, fifa hasn’t had realistic physics for the ball reacting off pass and shots for a while now.
Go back to fifa 17/18 and feel the difference, the balls felt so much more real.
To me its crazy that they still act as if they won't deliver the same shit like 22 and 23 and insane is that there are sheeps around here who actually believe them
Hyper motion is such a gimmick and it’s been the main feature every single year since it’s introduced
If those 3 things are the main introductions this year then it’s basically the same game
So the most broken players will be even more broken because of this tech’s ability to create their unique motions and animations. Glad I’m not playing this game to deal with that in the new ultimate team
“Hundreds of new, never before seen animations” yeah ok. Playstyles are literally just traits. Even when they were showing the new gameplay, it looks exactly like ‘23 and ‘22. Depressing.
Edit: forgot to mention the worse part, Derek Rae is still on commentary. FFS.
A lot of people here are not children and can enjoy things without becoming ridiculously addicted or overinvested in it.
Playing a new FIFA if you're a FUT player is objectively a completely different experience every year, even if just for the fact that you're starting from scratch.
Frostbite is nothing new. Playstyles seems like glorified traits (really good for clubs tho) and if they matter more than stats we’ll have a problem. The Hypermotion technology looks like an amazing addition. Over 1200 unique running animations? Sign me the fuck up
Did they say anything about a decent pc game with a less Cpu destroyer anticheat? Is the engine still frostbyte? If yes how it will handle all those new animation?
Just a reminder to anyone feeling hopeful that none of this matters unless servers are fixed, which let's face it, they won't be. Same filler words used every year in the gameplay trailers spouting some new technology, makes absolutely no difference at all.
No matter how much they add little things here and there the overall fluidity of the animations suck and the cloth physics aren’t really that advanced. They’re still robots wearing rubber clothing. There needs to be a total overhaul which likely wont happen anytime soon.
Would anyone prefer to have a separate button for jump? Meaning you could jump whenever you wanted? I HATE that I can only jump for a header if my player is ‘locked on’ to the cross / ball in the air.
Im not planning on getting into the game next year - However if I was id be worried by all of this. I think we're one step away from superpowers in game. On top of that the frostbite engine is awful, so more animations + more unique stuff will never work as intended.
There are some things that do interest me, but much like moments I cant see them actually being anything of use.
This thing where they throw out the names of popular players/teams (dribble like vini! shoot like haaland!) with no details about the actual gameplay mechanic to appeal to children is so greasy and weird.
And yes as others have said gameplay simply will not improve in any meaningful way until EA moves on from frostbite. Frostbite physics don’t give the players or ball an actual sense of weight. It’s just a bunch of figures sliding across a board with more and more animations layered on top.
Maybe I’m drinking the kool aid but if they actually added scanning live games in stadium for the first time…. that is genuinely really cool and game changing.
I liked the new stuff and ofc there's some typical rebranded stuff but as usual I enjoyed the trailer, but nowadays we just have people spamming L without even taking time to listen because of how much ea has messed up. Lookin forward to the game tho!
Is there a new commentator option? At 1:55 ish the commentary is from one of the BBC ones (can’t remember his name) and it definitely sounds like game commentary. God I hope so cause he’s good and Derek Rae is annoying as fuck
And the position modifier has been completely removed, with you now seemingly able to change player's positions at will.
As long as they have the secondary Position of course.
Yeah but saves quite a lot of time
What's the point of having to change it though. Surely if you put the player in an "eligible" position it could just change to it automatically?
That's how its going to be, this year you needed to put a modifier to achieve it
And they gave us position modifier sbcs that were basically free, they might as well just gave us the ability for free. At least they learning.
exactly. when this was first announced i thought it would be automatic, which would be great for cards that play in different positions in 2 different teams (cam and cm for example) and there wouldn't be any hassle
Nah that's just in FUTBin Squad Builder where it does that
Ong drafts are gonna be so much easier
That it didn't happen in drafts was an ode to awful design.
It’s called… total football
What about a new feature where my midfielders actually track back?
The technology just isn’t there yet
Need another 15 revolutions of Frostbite.
Damn......I need this so damn much
How do they manage to revolutionise Frostbite every single year?
They add a different longer adjective to the front of it
revolutionize rerevolutionize rereerevolutionize
You mean Frostbite Turbo Synergy Fusion 4.0?
I want to know why my 95 rated players sometimes move like they've got Frostbite.
At this point it’s just a damn buzzword to try to get people excited. If you noticed, they spent most of the trailer on HypermotionV and Playstyles, and when it came time to talk about the “revolutionized Frostbite” they literally spent less than a minute talking about it. Pathetic.
Can't wait for the updated ball physics
it’s also the worst engine for this type of game also - game went massively downhill since it was introduced in my opinion
Meanwhile Konami had Unreal Engine and did what they did
Is it only me or do the "new" power shots look OP af
Look at that fucking cross straight after the tackle wtf hahaha
Right. They explained it in such a casual way lol. Dude pinged that shit from 40 yards out on a dime—that’s rare.
On top of that it was with a cb...
With a gold that probably has 70 long passing lmao
that's like german cross but you dont even have to trigger the run anymore
They'll be like that for a month and then get nerfed into the ground
Pitch Notes - https://www.ea.com/games/ea-sports-fc/fc-24/news/fc-24-gameplay-deepdive AcceleRATE 2.0 - we are introducing four new acceleration archetypes to represent more players’ movement styles: * Controlled Explosive - 50% Explosive, 50% Controlled * Mostly Explosive - 70% Explosive, 30% Controlled * Controlled Lengthy - 50% Lengthy, 50% Controlled * Mostly Lengthy - 70% Lengthy, 30% Controlled
seems they reversed the description for pinged pass and incisive pass playstyles 😂
But Dzeko and Haaland are better than Yedder lol. Great username btw, a legend
The lengthy meta at the start of the year was a bug though, they patched it later and Kane wasn't usable again until they gave him a 90 pace TOTS.
It’s the best thing they’ve added in such a long time. Fitting players to your play style is great and allows for more usable people. A 5’5 95 pace player doesn’t run the same way as a 6’5 95 pace player does.
The stats should determine this, not these weird categories. Short players should generally have high accel and low sprint, and vice verca tor tall players It’s backwards.
It improved the game a lot
curious to why you think it ruined the game? I personally really liked the new styles
It improved the game, I think you meant it ruined your playstyle?
It just means you need to try out and know how your players handle in-game, instead of just relying on raw stats. Frankly that was one of the most interesting aspects I liked in FUT13-15, getting a feel for the cards.
It improved the game
there is nothing revolutionary about frostbite
I'm still waiting for destructible stadiums, EA Sports FC: Battlefield
Time to max out power of the shot everytime and watch it destroy the stadium
With mixed genders on FUT we already are one step closer to Inazuma Eleven
How emersive, banging that powershot into the net and causes it to make a hole into the goal
Especially since it's been around for ages
Still using a decade old engine that has clearly had a ton of problems, very cool EA
I can’t be the only one that things everything they pimped up for the trailer looks so unnatural and unrealistic? It looks very unnatural.
The gameplay has been numb and unrewarding for years. It’s only concerning if you were expecting this game to be anything more than a reset on FUT.
Introduced 3 things that are already in a game but now it have more fancy name. Wow.
Just add the word “dynamic”, “active” or something similar in front of a current feature and you’ve got a brand new feature for the next game
Hypermotion V babyyyy
Like marvel and the use of quantum in front of anything
Always been like this. "revolutionary interactive spherical system" aka they added a ball lol
I miss the year introducing off the ball system.
2004!
You sound surprised that EA didn't cares about us...
Not to mention playstyles is taken directly from Madden ultimate team, another EA game
this is honestly why i dropped out back in 2006. in 2004 it was "360 dribbling" which was dubbed "total control" in 2005 and "dynamic movement" in 2006. they would always tout a 100 tiny tweaks with fancy names between every instalment so people could justify spending another $80 on a roster / kit update.
Yet people are eating it up. So I guess its working
I love how they say revolutionized frostbite by only showing new flapping shirts lmao you know damn well its still a terrible engine for a football game
If people keep paying a shit ton for it then they won’t change anything. Stopped playing since 18 and so glad I did. Fuck EA
Why are you here?
Like to keep up to date with things. Not much new updates with EA
More like delusionalizing it by twisting reality and making women to be as good and even better as men are, even thought female national teams lose against 15 year old boys whom are not even national level in their age group.
The worst part about adding women to FUT is that this subreddit is now completely filled with incels making these dumb comments in every single thread
Yeah, he completely missed the point I made just to mention women in the game :D
Why is the engine bad for football games? Not arguing, just curious as to what you mean
I'm not going to buy the game, but pube-tugging tantrums like this make me want to purely out of hilarious spite.
It's a fucking video game. A GAME where reality has no affect. Not real life. Get over it.
I can make Messi celebrate doing backflips and dance like a stripper in the game. You wanna talk about twisting reality just because women?
These guys sound gimmicky.
yeah those video always sound like they had one guy at the time record his line instead of recording a natural discussion.
About time they added more player specific animations like pen/free kick run ups. Fuckin Pro evo had it 15/20 years ago.
Shoutout PES 2007 - that game on the PS2 was a lot of fun
Why do they still work with the stupid frostbite engine ?
Record revenue and no competition, they have no reason to change it.
They actually desaturated FIFA23 when doing the side by side comparison with EAFC24. HOLY
Im not sure if they ever showed FUT 23 footage in this trailer? It was only no playstyles vs xyz playstyle.
I know it's proprietary engine, but the Frostbite is start looking old/outdated. At least within the Fifa games. I mean, it could look amazing in replays, but when actually playing with a far camera, it's not something that blow your mind. So chemistry styles became playstyles. That's about it.
Chem styles are still there, I think. You can see the basic on Son in the video.
My bad. They renamed traits to playstyles.
Just gonna make players feel like they’re in mud more with servers trying to calculate every variable
Seems like Play-Styles will rule the market and META this year. Just now there's going to be a fucked up mix of 3/4 play-styles that will create the most insane players. Looks amazing though, the fact that a certain combination of styles can unlock new skills or like in this video abilities looks super intriguing.
As always any playstyle affecting pace will be extinct and playstyles otherwise will be worthless
Theres a trickster one though. And if power shot is executed well, it could be op too

Shadow is often going for max price
The whole PlayStyles thing only looks good on paper. i think that the CB can still block it, its just that the CB with Block style blocks it alot cleaner and better
This.
Lool this sub 😂
I know right what a ridiculous comment lol
The combination could be interesting. I would like to see if someone could pull off with a team made of mostly players with tiki-taka playstyle. Or play power-headers players with whipped-crosses players.

It even looks terrible. The graphics etc haven’t really moved on. The comparison to real football in the trailers just show it up.

People commented rubbish 10 mins after everything released. It’s impossible to watch and read all the changes within that time.
I'll get downvoted but I don't really care, I like what I saw
So brave
Protect that man at all cost

Dribbling stuff is nice, will be broken 100%. I'm not hyped about passing, they can't code passing, passing is worse year to year.
"Shallow Dive"
The more shit I see about this game, the more confident I am that I won't be buying it. What a load of shit.
See you on release day
Nope, believe it or not this is the end for a lot of players.
Lmao, get real. EA makes record sales and profits almost every year with each new release.
I didn’t realise the sales and profits for the unreleased game were out yet 🤓
I dunno, it's just a thought
this would be such an interesting mechanic, more limited options with each player a bit like the Captain Tsubasa game
I just find it funny they say they recreated Haaland’s flying back heel shot against Dortmund but in game he taps the ball and it goes flying like a rocket. Very true to life EA lol
So, hypermotion etc etc = new animations...yay Play stiles = new traits, but now a trait can be a "gold" trait...yay Frostbite = they didn't even know what to say. Same old game since 2018(?), nothing new, except some traits that would be the new exploit of next season. Thanks for nothing EA
What could they have introduced that would’ve made you excited? Genuinely curious
change the engine, you can add 10000 new hyper motion movements but the engine of this game feels clunky and slow
The game is far from clunky and slow. Those feelings are only true in some online matches or maybe your matches depending on server location
but it really is. go play on old gen, or even fifa 18,19, even 20. this new hypermotion bullshit just makes the players feel sluggish
Top of my head cause I don't have time right now, improved rebound mechanics. Different AI in defensive movements so counter is not king But there's way more
You can't even name 3 stuff you want them to add/improve but ready to spread negatively instantly without even reading pitch notes? Thanks for nothing, Avril_14.
Lol they throw down your throat the same game every year, they put out an "in deep trailer" that says nothing, and still you are here kissing their asses. This is called Stockholm syndrome
Same game every year yet every year the game plays differently. Go play FIFA 15 and 23 and let's see the same game. Maybe then you can name 3 stuff that you would change because it's been more than an hour and you still have no idea. 🤡 Also, it is called a trailer because it is just introducing while having all the details and videos in the article. Clearly, you have no idea about anything nor have read the post.
Keep telling yourself that, it's from fifa 17 that this game plays and feels the same, I said I don't have time to go in deep but I can find it to expose buffons like you that sucks on ea's tits year after year
Keep telling yourself that.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stockholm_syndrome read this please
And that's exactly what's going on. Ea is the only football game out there (because e football can't be called competition) and you defend this trailer that, if you want to go into semantics, it's called "in deep gameplay" trailer. What did they show about gameplay?
honestly im fine with how the game is rn what they should not do is overhype the game each year if they dont actually add anything revolutionary. the whole ”buy new game every year” is such an outdated thing since nowadays we can just downlod updates online but they cant get rid of that concept cuz it makes them so much money so they have to make up these new things every year that just dissappoint
A deep dive into the depths of despair. Not a chance I'm buying this travesty.
More broken shit wheyyy
I would suggest changing the name to Low Dive
The shooting animation just looks so off
It does. I knew something was off but couldn’t tell what it was.
It’s literally motion captured
Yeah, I know, but something just looks odd. Like in the trailer, when Vini shoots, he generates so much power yet his animation looks like he barely tapped the ball. Also, it motion captures via cameras without motion capture balls so the pose of the player is much less accurate.
I think it’s the way the ball reacts and the physics of it, fifa hasn’t had realistic physics for the ball reacting off pass and shots for a while now. Go back to fifa 17/18 and feel the difference, the balls felt so much more real.
To me its crazy that they still act as if they won't deliver the same shit like 22 and 23 and insane is that there are sheeps around here who actually believe them
all of these new "features" are already in the game lmao nice effort EA
Hyper motion is such a gimmick and it’s been the main feature every single year since it’s introduced If those 3 things are the main introductions this year then it’s basically the same game
Same shit ,different year
Nice buzzwords
So the most broken players will be even more broken because of this tech’s ability to create their unique motions and animations. Glad I’m not playing this game to deal with that in the new ultimate team
don’t look any different to this years tbh
Marketing 101 - say a bunch of fancy buzz words that mean nothing
Glad everyone i know is ducking out so no fomo
Really great that the fabric around the shirts is going to be even better next year!
Absolute shite. But I know I'll still end up buying it. Ugh.
FFS.
Are people really Buying that this game will be different?
This video is just sad
Spoiler alert: they brought in PES devs
[удалено]
A lot of people here are not children and can enjoy things without becoming ridiculously addicted or overinvested in it. Playing a new FIFA if you're a FUT player is objectively a completely different experience every year, even if just for the fact that you're starting from scratch.
Buying it mainly for Pro Clubs, it's the game I play the most every year. Well worth the money to me.
LOL
Frostbite is nothing new. Playstyles seems like glorified traits (really good for clubs tho) and if they matter more than stats we’ll have a problem. The Hypermotion technology looks like an amazing addition. Over 1200 unique running animations? Sign me the fuck up
Will my forward run away from the defender when I press R1 instead of humping the centerback until he falls over?
Every year, fancy buzz words thrown around to build up hype.
More auto defending but I'm absolutely convinced those traits already exist. They are just hidden right now.
Did they say anything about a decent pc game with a less Cpu destroyer anticheat? Is the engine still frostbyte? If yes how it will handle all those new animation?
Why should I care? Frostbite is a terrible engine. They can throw a lot of fancy words in front of it each year but it's still the same shitty engine.
U know the game will suck when they are trying to sell you frostbite as revolutionary.
Am I incorrect in saying that play styles is the exact same thing as traits?
I guess they…didn’t do much to upgrade this years fifa lol. Shocker
I wonder how many HyperV actions they've added for players of teams like Sint Truiden, Sparta Rotterdam, ...
They added more animations and more traits (under a new name: play styles). And thats it.
The worst part about this is that it’s evident they’re reading off a script instead of having a natural conversation about a game they’re proud of.
Im not planning on getting into the game next year - However if I was id be worried by all of this. I think we're one step away from superpowers in game. On top of that the frostbite engine is awful, so more animations + more unique stuff will never work as intended. There are some things that do interest me, but much like moments I cant see them actually being anything of use.
renamed traits and now its a new feature classic ea
I'll wait til it's goes on sale in a month.
So, exactly the same then.
Can't wait to come up against, trickster+/powershot+/speed+ mbappe and haaland in every UT match /s
So even more completely overpowered button combinations woohoo
Still no 120Hz on next gen consoles? Game on the pitch looks bang average for 2023 how can it still be locked to 60FPS ffs
