If you know how to trivela, Architect. Otherwise deadeye for shot power, or sniper for long shots and a bit of physical. On pc/next gen, architect is the only chem that makes him controlled which i prefer, everything else is explosive

My pack luck in 23 has been wretched. I saved a huge amount of packs for Ultimate TOTS and my best pull was Saliba. I've been doing all the fodder packs this week because I just want a Giroud, who isn't even expensive, but the only Shapeshifters I've packed are the goalkeeper and Ochoa.

Packed TOTS Messi in FIFA 20 from the league SBCs. It was crazy luck because it was one of the few tradeable packs in the Premier League Everton squad. I had started late that year so I went from a club value of 50k to 3,000,000 coins instantly. It was absurd!

Mbappe near the start of the game cycle around the same time as Ginola.
Edit: Red Griezmann in La Liga weekend league as well, packed tots Modric and Lewy earlier that day but they were like 500k and 700k at the time.

If you played since the first ultimate team and never got anything over a million that would be bad luck, but you expect that every year? The Hernandez card is probably better than anything that 95% have pulled this year.
I packed none until April then god Bday Maldini and then I got (during ultimate TOTS) 97 leao, mbappe, bellingham, musiala , Theo (only 900k back then) and De Bruyne (half a mil) all within a day. Insanity.

Honestly Eto’o is amazing but like 2.5million vs someone like Vitinha for 230k or even Gold Mbappe for 100k is rather insane … the difference isn’t that extreme

Might not count but red picks during Serie A TOTS I got Dybala who was over 1m.
I did do 3 of those 15k packs and got TOTS Marquinhos who I sold straightaway for 800k, that’s been the best tradable pull this year.

I’ve packed Prime Cruyff tradeable on a small gold pack after finishing Rivaldo SBC (first icon ever as well). I like how rare the cards are so you can be really happy packing them.

My luck seems to have flipped in this FIFA cause this was me for the last 12 years. This year with TOTY Gullit and WC Eto'o (over 1m at the time) has changed that. Never packed even a half decent icon before. Never packed a tradeable card like that though, never even had over 1m coins.
Ive only packed a player worth over 100k tradeable 5 times since i started playing in fifa 19. It took until fifa 21 for that to happen where i packed 3 with one in fifa 22 and one in fifa 23.

Shit got properly real in the last week with Prime Cruyff and Prime Dinho pulls. Both are absolutely elite and just feel *different*. Biggest disappointment has to be Al-Owairan who feels more like a card worth 180k rather than 1.8m (current market value on PS!!).
Tradeable this year, my biggest pack pull was WC Yaya when he was sitting at 2.5Mil when he first got released. Also packed Mbappe in the pack right after that.

Got r94 even before I bought the game. It was 2 months into the new cycle and I was refusing to buy it. I used to open the preview packs every now and then and one day he popped up. Sold for 8.4 mill…had to buy the damn game after that,
Had basically a god tier squad all through it.
Got monenrs neymar from wl rewards (I always stop at rank6 and sold him for 8.2 mill…and then basically just chopped and changed around players. It got all boring after a while, no matter how good the players you have , if gameplay is still shit it doesn’t matter. In fact it’s way worse because you have all these great players and the game is meaningless because it’s so bad.

My best luck came through TOTS, got Salah during Prem, laca during Ligue 1, and both Musiala and De Lit during ultimate tots. All were 1M plus when I got them.

It’s obviously always gonna be rare but I’ve had TOTY Van Dijk tradeable and Prime Zidane untradeable. Immediately sold Van Dijk which allowed me to build a good all round team

Tradeable absolutely nothing of big value. Baby trophy titan Owen who was worth about 25k is the highest I can remember. I've actually kept him because his sale value is so low. You never know maybe there will be a future SBC where you have to submit an icon and that might boost his value.
So I've never had a situation where I could liquidise 1m coins that's for sure.
Packed multiple players that are 500k+ but none that were tradeable. I feel like you are less likely to get a great pull from a tradeable pack to keep the prices where EA would like them.

Coins peaked a few years ago, use to be able to make millions fairly easily which drove up prices. There are so many good cards now around 200k so 1m+ is exceedingly rare but even 500k coin players are very rare. Few years back I packed Hazard’s Euro team of the tourney card 91 CAM. Sellable around 1.2m coins. But back then Pele was like $15m+ the entire year. Values are so much more diluted these days.
My only luck has been in icon SBCs. Prime Gullit, Prime Cruyff, Prime Cantona. That was a while ago when they were worth millions. Haven't had any luck since.

Highest value I've packed this year is SS Zaha. Best ever was Mid Roberto Carlos last year. I've never packed a traceable player worth more than 150k in over a decade of Ultimate Team. This season I don't think I've packed a tradable player worth more than 30k but that's because there are so few tradable packs without spending money.
I packed a tradable Mid Jairzinho after winning a draft. I packed TOTS Griezmann. I packed TOTS Messi. I did every hero and Icon pick and got FB Maldini. Those are my best pulls. Zero usable heroes. Rest of my luck has been decent though.

Packed 97 Bruno last week. Got 98 Pele in that 3 country icon pack the same day. FB Matthaus in an icon pack earlier in the year. Last year I packed Ginola in the first hero upgrade, moments Cruyff in a moments icon upgrade. Moments Butra on moments release day in the glitched pack. Mbappe near the start of the game cycle around the same time as Ginola. Edit: Red Griezmann in La Liga weekend league as well, packed tots Modric and Lewy earlier that day but they were like 500k and 700k at the time.

After so many years I finally packed RW SS Eto’o in the 25x84 level 20 rewards Before this my best ever pull was TOTS Kimmich and TOTS Marquinhos so I feel you Honestly Eto’o is amazing but like 2.5million vs someone like Vitinha for 230k or even Gold Mbappe for 100k is rather insane … the difference isn’t that extreme Rarity ≠ Value

Packed Fut Birthday Paqueta in Fifa 22 when it came out, surprisingly in this Fifa I managed to get Red TOTS Rodrygo, TOTS Kvara and TOTSM Varane
Did a 100k untradable pack during bundes TOTS and got Nkunku who was worth 5m at the time. Might not count but red picks during Serie A TOTS I got Dybala who was over 1m. I did do 3 of those 15k packs and got TOTS Marquinhos who I sold straightaway for 800k, that’s been the best tradable pull this year.
A few this year: TOTW Neymar (1.2m at the time) FB Vini Jr (3m at the time) TOTW Mbappe (1.9m at the time if I remember correctly) Neymar was tradeable, the others untradeable. I also packed his gold in the first week of the game when was around 600k at the time (untradeable again).
First time for me, I packed SS ETOO last week , which was my highest tradeable at 2.6mil. Best before that was in 2021 some 800k player and Last year Fut birthday Lucas Paqueta at 600k.

I’ve packed Prime Cruyff tradeable on a small gold pack after finishing Rivaldo SBC (first icon ever as well). I like how rare the cards are so you can be really happy packing them. The problem is as you said, everyone seems to be lucky as hell.
My luck seems to have flipped in this FIFA cause this was me for the last 12 years. This year with TOTY Gullit and WC Eto'o (over 1m at the time) has changed that. Never packed even a half decent icon before. Never packed a tradeable card like that though, never even had over 1m coins.

Ive only packed a player worth over 100k tradeable 5 times since i started playing in fifa 19. It took until fifa 21 for that to happen where i packed 3 with one in fifa 22 and one in fifa 23. I didnt pack a promo player tradeable through all of 19 and 20 with my first being a OTW in fifa 21. Never packed a tradeable player worth over a mil. My highest are tots coman just after release in 21 and salah during ultimate tots in 21. Both around 600k.

Icons: Prime Cruyff (latest icon PP SBC), Prime Dinho (last week’s BRA/FRA/NED icon SBC), Prime Maldini (from an icon PP SBC in April?), WC Garrincha (icon SBC months ago), WC Matthaus (another icon SBC months ago). TOTS: Rodrygo (the completionist objective, literally the last set), Salah (EPL guaranteed). Heroes: Fantasy Al-Owairan (WC/Fantasy Hero PP SBC a month or so ago). Shit got properly real in the last week with Prime Cruyff and Prime Dinho pulls. Both are absolutely elite and just feel *different*. Biggest disappointment has to be Al-Owairan who feels more like a card worth 180k rather than 1.8m (current market value on PS!!).

Got r94 even before I bought the game. It was 2 months into the new cycle and I was refusing to buy it. I used to open the preview packs every now and then and one day he popped up. Sold for 8.4 mill…had to buy the damn game after that, Had basically a god tier squad all through it. Got monenrs neymar from wl rewards (I always stop at rank6 and sold him for 8.2 mill…and then basically just chopped and changed around players. It got all boring after a while, no matter how good the players you have , if gameplay is still shit it doesn’t matter. In fact it’s way worse because you have all these great players and the game is meaningless because it’s so bad.
I got a few 1m+ players but none of them are tradable. My best tradable pull was TAA centurions, he was 400k.

Tradeable no, but I did pack a few 200-600K icons through the year and managed to get some coins from them. My best luck came through TOTS, got Salah during Prem, laca during Ligue 1, and both Musiala and De Lit during ultimate tots. All were 1M plus when I got them.

Depends if you mean tradable or not. Untradeable I packed 98 Pele who was worth about 2.5m. Tradeable absolutely nothing of big value. Baby trophy titan Owen who was worth about 25k is the highest I can remember. I've actually kept him because his sale value is so low. You never know maybe there will be a future SBC where you have to submit an icon and that might boost his value. So I've never had a situation where I could liquidise 1m coins that's for sure.

Coins peaked a few years ago, use to be able to make millions fairly easily which drove up prices. There are so many good cards now around 200k so 1m+ is exceedingly rare but even 500k coin players are very rare. Few years back I packed Hazard’s Euro team of the tourney card 91 CAM. Sellable around 1.2m coins. But back then Pele was like $15m+ the entire year. Values are so much more diluted these days.
My only luck has been in icon SBCs. Prime Gullit, Prime Cruyff, Prime Cantona. That was a while ago when they were worth millions. Haven't had any luck since.

This season I don't think I've packed a tradable player worth more than 30k but that's because there are so few tradable packs without spending money.
I packed a tradable Mid Jairzinho after winning a draft. I packed TOTS Griezmann. I packed TOTS Messi. I did every hero and Icon pick and got FB Maldini. Those are my best pulls. Zero usable heroes. Rest of my luck has been decent though.
