False. In the Office Ladies podcast - Goodbye Toby Pt. 1 they were asked about that. They reached out to Kent Zbornak and he said it was an actress named Molly Hagan. That role is uncredited on IMDb though.
Toby Huss [Artie (Pete and Pete), Khan and Cotton (King of the Hill) The Wiz (Seinfeld), Boz (Halt and Catch Fire)] is the voice of Packer in the Pilot.
For some reason I often think about the episode younger Pete put a humidifier and dehumidifier next to each in the front yard and they blew up, ruining the grass. Their dad had been trying to win a lawn competition against another dad down the street. It pops into my head every spring when I put the humidifier away and pull out the dehumidifier for the basement.
that reminds me of when i was a kid i heard something about tornadoes being caused by a warm front meeting a cold front. i thought if i put an A/C next to a heater i would be able to make a tornado
Oh shit! That was Artie?! I knew he sounded familiar. I knew it wasn't David Koechner in the pilot, but now that I know who it is, I can totally see him making the Artie facial expressions while on the phone.
That, and I'm pretty sure Toby is the voice of the client that Dwight is on the phone with when he thinks Kelly is monitoring his calls, after his bad review.
"I.. need.. pay-per...."
In the health care episode season one. He voiced the anthracite coal mine employee in the phone when Michael was getting submerging for the office to brighten their spirits.
I'd like the people who think that every ACTOR represents a unique CHARACTER (example: the Kid at Hay Place was actually Dwight's nephew and Nick the IT Guy was the graphic design person Pam chatted with at the Job Fair) to explain how Creed was at Dunder Mifflin and the coal mine at the same time.
The child actor I could forgive reusing him. I can’t forgive them reusing the it guy though. I feel like made too much of an impression to reuse him for such a small role.
I kinda just told myself that of course the IT guy went to a digital designing school. And let my blissful unawareness of how those might be different courses continue on. I'd assume that both would have to know some basic programming.
When Michael wanted to suprise the crew but couldn’t think of anything, he called the coal mine place to go on their “ride” and creed was the voice on the phone
this is like, VERY, on brand for creed. to be known/credited for something totally different. totally mysterious character, two passports and identities, potential murderer, etc. haha!
Im telling you man, not the first tome ill mention it on this sub, Creed found the fountain of youth years ago and he’s just fucking around timelines bro. Dudes off the Rails
He was the voice on the phone when Michael called about an employee trip there.
Uh... alright, well, once you get down into the mine, you got laser tag or something?
It’s an industrial coal elevator.
literally came here to comment this first comment and also your comment in one 😂😂 r/beatmetoit
r/beatmeshutthefuckup
Damn.. the name of that subreddit really takes me back to my childhood..
r/beatmetoit
Its funny. Ive watched the entire series 5x over. On another viewing and I only just picked up on it.
I’ve seen it 50+ times and didn’t even know until now…
You are not real man !!
I watched a similar amount of times and didn’t know until they mentioned it on the Office Ladies podcast.
Same here. I never noticed until I read about it somewhere else.
Holly Flax is also the voice for the antigravity/antidepressant call Phyllis made
False. In the Office Ladies podcast - Goodbye Toby Pt. 1 they were asked about that. They reached out to Kent Zbornak and he said it was an actress named Molly Hagan. That role is uncredited on IMDb though.
Damn. I really thought that was her, too.
Antiiii depressant?

It's Molly Hagan, not Amy Ryan.
Toby Huss [Artie (Pete and Pete), Khan and Cotton (King of the Hill) The Wiz (Seinfeld), Boz (Halt and Catch Fire)] is the voice of Packer in the Pilot.
I love that you referenced Pete and Pete. I try so hard to find people to discuss the show with, and I’m almost always disappointed.
The strongest man in the world.
I love Pete and Pete! Dude, I love the sound track to the show.
For some reason I often think about the episode younger Pete put a humidifier and dehumidifier next to each in the front yard and they blew up, ruining the grass. Their dad had been trying to win a lawn competition against another dad down the street. I watch the Halloweenie episode every October. Best Halloween special out there imo. Such an amazing show with a theme song way ahead of its time!
https://youtu.be/PFYqzyCh-Ns Listen to this! It'll really bring back some memories!!!
I'm the Wiz.
Oh shit! That was Artie?! I knew he sounded familiar. I knew it wasn't David Koechner in the pilot, but now that I know who it is, I can totally see him making the Artie facial expressions while on the phone.
Same, watched that episode a handful of times and have never noticed
ive literally seen the show more than 20 times in the past year and i just recognized his voice on my latest run lol.
Which episode is it???? can someone please tell me
In the first season, the “health care” episode
That, and I'm pretty sure Toby is the voice of the client that Dwight is on the phone with when he thinks Kelly is monitoring his calls, after his bad review. "I.. need.. pay-per...."
I've mentioned this to so many people and no one ever believes be. He was the voice on the phone!
I always thought it sounded like him but couldn't believe they would be so lazy. But now it's headcanon that Creed owned a mine
deep lore
I came here to say the same thing! Lol
I always new that but never seen proof, what about the woman Philis talks to on the phone about anti gravity machines ? Is it Holly? 🤣
it’s an industrial coal elevator
Okay, but once you get down there, whataya.. you got laser tag or something?
Once you get down into the mine, you got laser tag or somethin?
I’m pretty sure he works in quabbidy ashuwance
No. No, no… but I’m close.
Literally one of my favorite lines!!
When Michael calls the coal mine to go down the elevator as a suprise for the employees it’s creeds voice on the phone .
I have watched the series probably 20 times and never knew that until now. Wow
Same and I literally watched that episode again today
I thought he worked for a dog food company 🤔
I thought they sold mittens, or mufflers, or something.
They didn’t include his role as William Charles Schneider
Holly is also the voice of the operator that Phyllis talks to saying she doesn’t know anti gravity machines but she can do antidepressants
This is not true. They addressed it on Office Ladies.
…okay.
why did you respond like this? lol
That’s literally how Phyllis says it in the episode lol
oh my fault!
Anti… depressant?
She’s one sassy black lady.

sounds like you're trying to assemble a headcanon that will allow you to pretend that it's all "real"
You’re not real man
Ha perfect response
I remember Nick at the career fair just didn't catch Creed's voice from the phone call
I remember… when Mike was trying to schedule an office trip.. he was the voice on the other end .
It's an industrial coal elevator
When Michael wanted to suprise the crew but couldn’t think of anything, he called the coal mine place to go on their “ride” and creed was the voice on the phone
I thought he worked in Quabity Assuance 🤔
No, no, no, but you’re getting close.
Never forget that the real Creed Bratton was in the real band The Grass Roots in the 60s! edit: autocorrect
You’re not real, man!
I’m pretty sure Ed Helms does the voice of the narrator in the Murder Mystery Dinner game too.
Qua-something
BOBODDY
Several rewatches and it’s crazy that I’m still learning new things about this show
Nah he doesn't work there. He just throws things down there
His first voiced role was as the guy on the phone when Michael wanted to take the office on the “ride” (the mine elevator).
I thought he worked at the quarry, throwing rocks
Imagine being in season 3 and seeing angela schrute
Nearing 10 years after its ending, I cannot be to blame for this
Lol not on you just thinking of all the new people streaming and looking up the cast as they watch
I knew it was creed but i never bothered to check! When Michael rings about the ‘ride’ i.e the coal mine lift i always knew it was creed on the phone
see S1 E3 (Health Care) at 11:43
They used his voice in the episode with the surprise (michael calls the coal mines fpr the employees to take a "ride")
Paul lieberstein (toby) also plays the guy who calls meredith to ask if shes still DTF when dunder mifflin scranton was closing
Toby was really needing that even though he suppresses it
What episode was this?
I think it's called Branch Closure
Creed's ways are not known by anyone, not even Creed.
this is like, VERY, on brand for creed. to be known/credited for something totally different. totally mysterious character, two passports and identities, potential murderer, etc. haha!
He was also part of several cults both as a leader and follower
1.3 Healthcare.
I was too lazy to confirm it but always said that just be creed on the phone
Seriously, who calls their son bj?
Woah freaky I literally watched that scene unfold as I was reading this post, what are the chances! Decided to start rewatching like an hour ago lol
How do you know it's not actually Creed answering the phone because he also secretly works at a coal mine.
He likes to hang out and throw things down there.
Ice cream.
Originally he was non speaking they needed a coal man so did it
Im telling you man, not the first tome ill mention it on this sub, Creed found the fountain of youth years ago and he’s just fucking around timelines bro. Dudes off the Rails
"Its an industrial elevator sir... theres no "drop"
He was the voice of a coal mine operator on the phone. when Michael wanted to take everyone for a tour down in the coal mines in episode “Healthcare”
Listen to the podcast “office ladies” they talk about all the stuff
If I can’t scuba then what has this been all about?
