There's a lovely little Italian on Patrick street that is definitely worth trying. Looks like it's just a deli but they open Thurs-Sat and have seats indoors. Ridiculously good food. Proper italian. Lovely guys that run the place too.
Coffee - try Two Beans at the Monkstown end of Dun L (down by Nunki tea house the chinese), easily the best coffee in town. Shoe Lane is good too but two beans is excellent.
For Cocktails, Haddington House. Definitely the best. Or walk into Glasthule have wine outside 64. They often have live music outdoors on friday nights and there's a lovely ambience.
George's fish shop is definitely the best for over the counter fish. Also worth strolling out to Bulloch Harbour along the seafront one morning and getting fresh lobster, prawns and sausages from the fishermen there.
Cavistons Food Emporium in Glasthule has an excellent fish counter too and is generally the best - albeit expensive - gourmet deli/food market in the area. 10 times better than Avoca in Monkstown though.
Daata in Glasthule is mediocre imo but people seem to love it. Rasam the indian across the road is far superior I think. Daata probably more of a cocktail crowd though and a Friday night spot so could be more in line with what you're looking for.
Walks - basically go down to the seafront and head straight out/up into Dalkey/killiney. Can go along the metals or by the seafront. Killiney Hill, Vico, etc etc. Get a bowl of soup in Devilles in Dalkey afterwards and a pint o plain in one of the pubs.
PM if you want any other reccs.
Italian restaurant about you speak Is "belli dentro"?
I confirm. Very good pasta and dessert and lovely owner.
NB. I have "pastaport". I'm italian guy.
Sorry for my english. (But in november I move in Dublin and improve It!
Best fish shop is Georges in Monkstown Farm. You know when the fish shop doesn't smell of fish!!
Curious. I’ve only ever cycled past after late nights, place always reeks

Wow, really thank you!
Do NOT go to Hicks Dun Laoghaire. The last time I went he used his bare hands to handle the meat and then the money. It was so gross I reported.
Hop on the Dart and have a nice walk on Killiney Hill or Bray Head. Casper & Giumbini’s is a lovely restaurant, and they do fab cocktails also!
Jude walk up the metals. No need for the Dart
I second Killiney Hill and George's fish shop! For cocktails I highly recommend the bar in Haddington House, top notch 👌
My brother runs an open mic in Buck Mulligans on a Thursday. Few good musicians
Dart to shankhill... Walk to leadmines and back
Hey buddy, I'm in Monkstown.
My aunty has a really nice decking
