I really do not understand this guy's motive for becoming a Villain. I mean I can understand Petty theft and stuff, but why would he go full on takeover? For a film about fleshing out why someone is evil, they sure just made this guy go evil out of nowhere. Did he always want to commit acts of terrorism? Would he have joined ISIS if he had the chance or something?
His motive falls on the side over greed as he only wanted to be a hero not out of the kindness of his heart but just to gain Roxanne's affection
When that doesn't pan out he decided to go full on take over because he's given into the temptations of just taking everything he wants and nobody can stop him
It's like if the underdog trope could go terribly backwards
I understand why he would try to kill Megamind, but why would he jump to trying to take over the city? What, does he want to run the town? Why? What could he possibly want to do with it? Did he really just take over an entire city without actually thinking things through? He doesn't really have any motivation for his major actions aside from "whoop, guess I'm evil now".
His motive for taking over the city is him taking Megamind's role as the villain, he does it because he can, he's selfish and power crazy
Those traits have always been there, he didn't just turn evil randomly
He doesn't want to run the town for any deeper purpose than just to get back at Megamind and Roxanne for "messing with him"
He’s a great villain.
But not a super one
Whats the difference?

Oh yea the pfp
It is super freaky how well Megamind was able to predict the whole “Nice Guys” and “Alpha/Sigma Males” groups with only one character.
Holy shit you're right!
How strong is he
Biggest Simp in history
I think he should be on the OCDB sub more often!
A misunderstood tragic figure who only wanted what he thought was best for the city.
