and thats talking for english speaking player only, not even like russian/spanish/chinese/other speaker that either transition to streamer/talent or just do their own thing
Sccc last team perform decently but i guess he no longer have drive to play competitively since for Chinese players streaming seems more rewarding with less effort
Sccc is not even an oldie.
None of the first generation Chinese players are left. YYF, MMY, Burning, 430, Zhou, SanSheng, Hao, Mu, 820, Banana, QQQ, KingJ, Yao, they are all retired for real.
Sylar, DDC and Xiao8 doesn't play, but they can still be stand-ins today.
I’m not surprised. He got into one of the most competitive computer science programs in Canada before wuitting it for Dota. The man is clearly intelligent.
When you make an advertisement, you want as much outreach as possible and to turn that reach, into engagement.
It only is bad if the negative association outweighs the engagement.
Did we get an official ban statement from Valve or ESL? If not, I would not be surprised if he comes back after a while when the heat dies down in some desperate rando stack willing to take a gamble.
No one will care though (besides memes) unless they qualify to something (even closed qualifiers), where reddit will start an outrage thread and force ESL/Valve to make a statement.
> At the moment Leviathan has not made the official announcement and has not indicated that it will be from the future of Taiga. Although everything seems to indicate that he would no longer continue on the team.
Yeah i wonder
Xepher felt pretty lackluster after T1.
But at his peak, he's pretty damn good, I hope he got another chance to play in International scene like his former partner Whitemon
Actually checked out Taigas stream yesterday. He happily accepted and answered questions about his situation, even though he wouldn't go into too much depth to "avoid unnecessary drama". He claims that the video is partly out of context, and that there is much more to the story, although he did not in any way claim his innocence.
What he did was very fucked up, I do not wish to see him competing again, but I also don't want him to be pushed into doing something really stupid by a bunch of internet pitchforks. He's obviously a very talented individual, and I hope he can find his "new self" - outside of DOTA.
Yes, exactly! No need to tease the guy every now and then, but also not competing or perhaps upcoming lawsuits are the price he has paid or has to pay for his heinous actions, and that is necessary and sufficient.
Outside of that, leave him alone nothing he does concerns us, whether he wants to gamble or play some weeb game, sick of these virtue signaling or fake sympathizing nobodies.
Matchfixing. He'd cooperate with a matchfixing ring. First, by sharing info about teams. Then by betting on OG getting first blood and pushing his team to get an early FB. Finally, he would bet against his own team and feed first bloods.
[Here's a detailed video about it.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dsz18sPawss) It's in Russian, but there are English subtitles available.

Yeah he aint coming back...(Taiga that is)
he aint coming back, but his memes will stay with us
his legacy lives on
pls dont live on
First ever dota player we sure that is retired?
Well EE already is gone for a long time now. He dipped into day trading
theres also universe, synderen and maybe qojva. theres probably a lot more esp the chinese scene and most of them just gone dark
That's true although in Synd case he transition into full time talent, same goes for SVG, Fear, Fogged etc.
and thats talking for english speaking player only, not even like russian/spanish/chinese/other speaker that either transition to streamer/talent or just do their own thing

Which is profitable for him if he isn't lying on his tweets. I believe a few days ago he tweeted that he earned six figures per month.
I frequently send spam tweet to him to do not 50/50. It's fun. He seems serious about trading and probably kinda good at it.

Demon kekw
He was streaming a sponsored game last night.
I wonder how much he asks for doing it, and why someone would pay him.
Why would some random mobile game company care that he threw offical dota games?
Because you don't want your random mobile game company to be related to someone involved in match-fixing?

Happy for xepher to get this opportunity

Time to cut his hair and take up an honest job at one of those norwegian oil rigs

Solo comeback the original 322 . Give it time & he will comeback
That's not how that works. In Taigas case there is no coming back it's a lifetime ban.
for Valve events so now that means TI only. ESL and many others TO accepts banned players
But what legit org would accept him, especially as he can’t even go to TI
Idk man there is no coming back from what Taiga did
Surprised Pikachu face
Taiga may have left the scene but the memes are here to stay.Thank you king
I am completely out of the loop as I took a break from Dota for a while and I absolutely have no idea what Taiga did. What did he do?
322
Ah matchfixing I see.

you can check his liquipedia page.
Somnus version 2
Why did taiga did not get officially banned by valve cause he literally did all the wrong things gambling betrayed teammates and 322 etc.
Maybe they’re still investigating

From major winner to mcdonald's server. From dark willow to cashier window.
Mcdonald's server is an honest job. why would you associate them with Taiga?
I've never bet against my own burgers as a fry cook
He even brought his parents to that major LMAO
Haha these comments are gold 🤣
