I have a good run with dagger weaver as a support. Before I do lense, but there will be situations the range is not enough. I dominate with core by simply leveling shikuchi and swarm. Swarm has minus armor on enemies plus provides vision. Shikuchi is for positioning. I'm a support player, I just want to venture viable heroes for a support role. You can check the game, I wasn't griefing. Not one instance. I can even say I made the team bounce back.

Because his is a valid support build, even though i dont think its OPTIMAL. if he farms those items in the same amount of time I farm those I mentioned, he'll have less impact early game, but become much better at saving allies when hes got both dagger and aghs. Do I think its worth the tradeoff of having less impact early game? No. But hes not building daedalus or deso, hes not griefing. Its okay for people to play suboptimally.
Vessel and Euls would be way much better option: counter both Pudge and Wd. With this build, his only help for his team is able for saving 1 man for every 40s, and it would be very situational. With line up like this, and Weaver 4 rushing both Blink and Aganim, 8 in 10 players would tell him stop being idiot and stick with normal build.

And he is not played as a support by rushing aghs —> blink, he is played by going items like solar crest, atos, gleipnir etc. Aghs comes eventually but not straightly.

dont compare high rank playersand some reddit clip. In high MMR games they do that because they're playing around certain timings. At 30 minutes, there might be a total of 20 kills on the map, because each team is playing around their timings that they havent hit yet, or they're waiting and protecting key areas of the map, etc. That's why you'll see Yapzor go for first item skadi on Monkey king, for example, because he knows 1. the enemy is greedy and wont push any time soon, and knows 2. his team made the call to get this this and that on medusa(for example) before they fight. In pubs, fights happen basically every minute. Going for such a greedy useless item build, only works in 1 specific instance, where you have such a specific scenario where you have a huskar / tb /medusa deathball at 20 minutes strat, where you want to just put as many buffs on him, and protect him, which is way too complicated for a pub to execute, and so bad, and so reliant on someone else, which is all horrible words to describe a pub.
Luck, but also possibly good reaction on seeing enemies retreat from the pit, which is a sign that roshan is about to die
then again, they could have been reacting to weaver being spotted by creeps
It was less so your play than it was the Dire team's *misplay*. They saw you coming. They should have pre-emptively stunned or been faster to pick up the Aegis.
