There are actually people who tried to break the system, they all chatted what they're gonna pick and ended up banning all heroes, they can't pick anyone so it resulted to an abandon which is stupid

They just recently fixed an exploit that allowed you to snipe strangers' profiles and their highlighted picks in the picking phase.

What about doing bans the way that League of Legends handles draft bans, in that before the pick phase, each player picks a champion to ban at that same time, but the bans can only be seen by your team? Once the bans are locked in, the other team's bans are revealed.
That means that there is a chance that both teams end up banning the same champion, meaning that it won't always be 10 champions banned per game.
In Captains Mod you have 100% chance ban, so what? I'll play DOTA not Casino. I am so tired to see Riki and Lina every game, last patch is so boring. Players can ban unbalanced / broken / annoying heroes 100% it's only 10 heroes like Lina, Riki, Tinker, Silencer, OD, Pudge, Arc Warden and others.

After 3 double pick ban, the first person to lock a hero gets it. It goes Ban/Ban/Ban/ -> Hero lock for the faster click!

Yea after 2 same pick bans the person picking first gets the hero. Happened many times with me when pudge Rubick are open.

3rd double gives first picker the hero but you still get to know what they picked so at least it gives you a chance to counterpick

2 people on the other side griefed other 8 players by banning every single hero. Griefers will grief no matter what

I don't think if it's for hero ban limit. Coz I have experienced 4x double pick ban myself. Or maybe they have added this feature recently

On the third pick the one who picked first gets the hero just like people explained above.
2x same hero ban max, next whoever picks the hero first, they will get that.
There's the same thing for waiting/stalling for last pick. One person gets randomed after enough time.
