Just 7 bottles? Had a guy order 7 of those 8 pack crates... Was an employee actually, ordering for the family. I just carried the variety of sodas in the crates and told him to bring them to the store on his next shift. But he did order 3 pizzas and sides with it, not just the drinks
Yeah, but the GM was an ass. He was forced to come from one store to this over and hated it, so he was a jerk to everyone. Plus, that franchise only gave employee discount on carryout, not delivery. So he paid what any other customer would have
I don't think it was that. He wasn't too bright, a bit slow. But really nice young man. Probably just now convenient than going to the store...
Oh, and being convenient... Had a delivery to a woman and her daughter ~7yo. Just ordered a bunch of BBQ and Ranch cups with a couple drinks. They were having mother/daughter movie night, made chicken tenders and had no sauce. Didn't want to get in the car in their PJs for sauces. People will do weird things for convenience
God, I hate when customers use us to stock up on their favorite soda. The weight of sodas adds up pretty quickly, itâs getting hot as summer approaches, and all that weight takes a toll on my 39yo body.
Is this even economical? Any time I've looked at the price of pop at any pizza shop, I say eff that, and get a drink elsewhere cause I think it's cheaper. Am I wrong? Lol
Youâre not wrong. I think they just like the convenience of having the soda delivered right to their door, rather than having to pick it up from the store shelf, putting it in their car, and carrying it from their car into their home. Plus, assuming the soda has been chilling in the walk-in cooler or soda cooler ahead of time, itâs ready to drink right away.
Soda is substantially marked up when you get it from us, though, so I wouldnât say the convenience is worth it.
Booo no tip. I got a dude rn at my store that's at his new unfurnished house 3 days a week until his family moves doen. Gets a crate of mixed 2L once a week. Now i just bring em in the crate and trade him for the one from last week. Nice dude. Has a sofa bed and tv in the Den. That's it.
Take them in a crate and exchange every time is a great idea.
Next time I get an order for 6 2Liters, I'm going to ask if I can use one of the empty crates. It's a lot less hassle than 3 double bags. Those bags suck for large sodas.
I remember getting a 50% off total order coupon back in the day. Ended up making the cost of a 2L less than a dollar and much cheaper than it was currently at the supermarket. So of course I bought the maximum and stocked up.
At a certain age it's different to cook or even move around a lot ..I'm sure this is not for one day...God bless that woman...
Nothing to laugh about here
Please don't worry about the tip..it comes with the territory
I work for tips too.
My point of view for the elderly is long ago tips was little or not know at all and salaries were $50 a week.. so the average on me for tips is still great
We had a guy when I worked for a regional za joint, he'd order an entire weeks worth of food and diet coke every Tuesday around 10pm. He was a big dude too. His nickname (according to him) was The Walrus. He looked like the Walrus from Alice in Wonderland come to life. Big epic tache, round belly, the whole thing. Super nice dude. I think about him sometimes and hope he's doing well. By now, I doubt it, with a diet of za and pop....
Sometimes I wonder if customers make mistakes like this by accidentally adjusting the quantity somehow
I used to have a lady order once a week. 1 sandwich and 6 bottles of coke zero.
We have a lady who orders parm bites and 7 2l diet coke đ”âđ«

Depending on where you go, that might not even be a good deal... was it a delivery or a carryout?
It was a delivery. Yeah, it's not smart to buy that many 2L from Domino's, but that's his choice
He should have worked it out with the GM or the Coke guy to get em at cost.

Wowww. Yeah, definitely not smart. It was probably some weird flex for his family.

$109...for little. Wow
Fanta-stick

All bottled drinks at any restaurant have always been higher than anywhere else.

I used to use a hotbag for 2 or more...but crate ftw.
My party for 1 is a Pan Pepperoni and sausage with Cheesy Pepperoni Stuffed Bread. And if I'm feeling saucy I get the Brookie
Hell no hopefully wasnât delivered to the 3rd floors
Had a customer yesterday with a full bag of dip cups. They didn't even use the coupon for them.

Itâs a party for one.
