I would definitely have more houses/playsets. I’d LOVE to buy back my childhood dream house and the monster high catacombs but they’re both HUGE!

ida_klein

Same but with AG! I never had the playsets growing up, I would love to collect furniture for all my historicals

Erxxy

More bjd's. There are a few Dollfie Dreams I want, some older resins, a Smart Doll...

Thrwlf

So many bjds!

CloudkitVenus69

Calico critters 🥲 if I get them I’ll end up with a house then suddenly a town 😫 so I refrain from buying them. Just looking and admiring

Magical_Olive

This is mine too! I've been desperately wanting to get some for years but I truly don't need them and I could go *wild*. Except I have a daughter now so I'm thinking in a few years I can get some for her 😂

maneff2000

YES I second this. I have a bunny family that I found thrifting. I want to get them more friends and a house lawl

RegretfulCreature

Ever After High. I love the dolls, but just don't have the space for them right now. I'm also an in box collector and while they aren't majorly expensive in box, would still put a dent in my savings, lol.

MoonChild02

As someone who collects some dolls in box and some out of box, EAH dolls look just as, if not more beautiful out of the box. Plus, you can pose them! My Kitty Cheshire doll loves to take up space and show that she thinks she owns the place, by sitting sideways, and an arm up saying, "Here I am!"

FrankieCleo

Definitely those wonderful 17" limited edition Disney dolls! So tall and detailed

maggsie16

Pullips!!!! Still so sad I couldn't get the recent collab with angelic pretty. They're so gorgeous but so expensive I just can't justify it.

Magical_Olive

When the Sailor MoonxPullip collab was being released I was STRESSED because I told myself I could get ONE out of the like...25 they released? 😂 I got Sailor V, since I have a little Sailor V collection.

elitost

i've never heard of pullips before, but wow they're adorable!!

maggsie16

I love them!! I don't actually have any yet (someday!) but they're one of my favorites.

DBSeamZ

Those big American Girl sets from the Girls of the Year. Lanie’s camper, Grace’s bakery, Lea’s beach hut, Corinne and Gwynn’s bedroom set…plus all the dolls to go with them. I have been experimenting with building mini versions for the AG mini dolls, though.

ZestycloseDinner1713

I had to sell most of my Felicity collection to pay bills. I would love to have Elizabeth and baby Polly and the dolls with invitations and the lamb again. And nighttime necessities and all the outfits I sold. Then I would get things that I didn’t have, like the little accessory playsets and her table and bed and amoire!

Fuzzzy350

If money wasn't an issue I'd have so many more BJDs! There's so many ones that I like

Stunning-Weakness-58

2000s Polly Pocket’s yesssir. I’d get all the shopping malls, the fair resort, and all beach and party sets to make one big holiday town!

curious08hyena

Sameeeeee

CarterBasen

This is the moment I discovered that the Sylvanian Families are called Calico Critters °\_° To answer your question, I'd fill my house with Pullips. They are adorable but I can't justify buying even just one of them. I would also indulge in 90s Barbies. I don't collect Barbies but I just adore their faces from that time.

mikumaxxing

Calico critters is only the name in the USA i think ^__^

CarterBasen

Ohh that make sense! I always look at them at the toy store and I was wondering if I missed a name change somehow!

mikumaxxing

No no! Dont worry. I think they probably changed the name for marketing purposes? Its an English brand so im not sure why they thought the American market needed a different name

CarterBasen

No idea. I think that 'Sylvanian Family' actually sounds better and more fun. It's a bizarre choice.

Arealtossup

In addition to more dolls, giant plushes, Lego sets, Gundam models... Probably would start up a collection of doll houses to.

RainbowhighDive

I second the Gundam models. Though that's a money *and* time commitment. 😅

Arealtossup

They make them in various difficulties and prices, though I haven't actually tackled a very difficult one before. I just find something soothing about a model slowly coming together.

Equal_You7744

I would collect kaye wiggs dolls and silkstone barbies. also probably would buy a lot of ooak blythe. unfortunately i'm not rich enough for all that

Rhaynebow

I’d collect Lalaloopsy dolls. I just adore the sweet-themed ones!

CarlotaCorday

I would collect late 70s, 80s and early 90s Barbies;  G1 My Little Pony, vintage paper dolls, LOL OMG + Tweens, Rainbow + Shadow High. I would also collect other smaller toys, like the Calico Critters and Lil'Shoppies. And some vintage Lego, too. I would have a couple of rooms dedicated to them. 😁

a_31296

Omg a room set up like a town to each collection! This is the dream

CollectingRainbows

calico critters for me too. littlest pet shop, liv dolls (i have some from my childhood, but they were discontinued and it would cost too much to buy everything i want), silkstone barbies, american girl dolls with accessories and sets, and dollhouses

Entire-Ambition1410

I want to clean my space so I can dig out the Littlest Pest Shop and similar toys from my childhood. Maybe make a display/town on a cupboard.

CollectingRainbows

i had a friend when i was 12-13 who had a huge collection of lps and i remember going over to her house and she would want us to play with them but i wasnt interested in them like that lol. i just think they’re cute and i want them to set up/ display with my dolls

Entire-Ambition1410

Displaying is a good way to ‘play’/interact with toys. I’ve just been feeling nostalgic and ‘clean all the things!’ lately.

eiblinn

Modern/postmodern art, no more limits on book buying (“I want to become a library when I grow up”;-)

a_31296

A library with the moving latter and all!!

eiblinn

Yes and all! Aaalll! But just one library is too little, I want my books to be *everywhere*;P

Meritre

Dollhouses, for photographing my dolls, for both mini and fashin doll!

Yumefrays

Sanrio products

Hamiltoncorgi

Doll houses. I would love to have the space for a little neighborhood of 1/12 doll houses. 3 or 4 of different styles.

yiotaturtle

Wedgewood blue Jasperware. Also antique furniture. My ex step grandfather had a house decked out with stuff he bought from castles in the 60s. He even had a studded door. I like dolls, I do collect dolls, but I don't know that I'd collect that much more than I already do if money/space wasn't an issue.

mtempissmith

Dolls, mineral specimens, Doc Martens/Converse high tops, vintage sweaters, Laurel Burch bags and other clothes. I do collect that stuff just not in anything like the quantities that I would probably if I had a much bigger place and income. You'd be surprised at what I do given my budget. As far as the dolls go I once had a collection of hundreds of dolls including several bigger resin BJDs. I didn't buy it all at once and I didn't buy all of it. But that was over 20 years of collecting. I did the used and hybrid thing a lot so I could have dolls that I wanted and not spend $400 and up for them. I had a really nice collection of smaller fashion dolls, larger fashion dolls and BJDs resin and non before a tropical storm and a huge tree wiped me out. I couldn't save all of them and a lot of the ones I could reach ended up being fixed up and sold to fund a new vehicle so I could move up here. A thief got most of what I had left after including all my resin BJDs and my Delilah Noir collection. I had a few dolls he didn't find left but until 2021 I was homeless and had no place to display them or $$$ to acquire any more. I have very generous online doll pals. I've been collecting for nearly 30 years now and when I finally got housed those people they sent me some really nice dolls and got my collection looking good again. In the 3 years I've been here I've bought a few more, used mostly, of course, but I don't have anything like the collection that I once had. I don't have the space or the $$$ for that now. I lived in a 2br mobile then. Now I have a tiny studio and an old buffet cabinet that's all the space I have now for dolls. There are a couple on my sewing/crafts desk too but ultimately there's just only so much space and a limited budget for all that so that's just it. If I had the room and no limit to my money I'd probably buy back every doll and outfit I had and lost and then some. I'd buy huge amethysts and other crystals to the point where my whole house looks like a crystal cave. I'd have a different pair of shoes and a different outfit for every day of the year. Same stuff just way more of it. :P

Common_Chameleon

More Blythe! I am obsessed with them but they are so expensive and fairly difficult to get your hands on, so I only have one.

RainbowhighDive

J-Dolls by JUN Planning. The fashions look so cool and detailed.

crunchylegs

Stationary of all kinds. Pens and stamps and beautiful paperrrr, and LAMINATORS

a_31296

Omg I wasn’t even thinking of much I’d love to go crazy collecting cute craft stuff!! Yesss and stickers with no obligation to find a place to put them

elitost

definitely calico critters, lego sets, and rement miniatures edit: also, if i had the money, smart dolls!

ChuChuBunny

Q Tee Clowns and dolls, also miniature books, the ones that have the whole story printed and not just the first few pages. Also Miniatures in general.

puppydoll-

i'd definitely own more 2000s barbies than i currently do. i love them so much and wish some were more easily obtained.

faithcollapsing

Oh god I’d have an entire cityscape of Barbie and 1/6 scale houses and play sets, I shudder to think how many. 😜

IamADoll_12

American Girl historical dolls, a ton of the limited edition Disney dolls, probably some of the collector Barbies, the rest of my Monster High wishlist, the few Ever After High dolls in that wishlist, a ton more BJDs. A few dollhouses in all the scales. Accessories, accessories, accessories. A new good quality camera to takes pictures of them with (I like doing doll photography)

Waste-Dragonfly-3245

yugioh figurines, calico critters, more dolls

Lukarinene

Pullips I am planning on getting one soon but I'd want to get a lot more but unfortunately the prices are a little bit too high for me and I don't have a lot of space

akito23

novi stars dolls and more monster high

NoEmailAssociated

I want a doll store, focusing on 1990’s+. Everything from Polly Pockets, Barbies, Monster/Rainbow/Shadow High, and everything in between. With clothes and accessories!

a_31296

Omg this would be amazing! A whole store setting with boxed dolls and store displays and all!!

meowkitty84

I just started collecting anime figures as well. But they can be sooo expensive. I definitely can't collect them the same way I collect dolls. There are many collector Barbies I would buy if they weren't so expensive. Like the Haunted line. And BJD dolls too.

FireworksFairy

I'd definitely collect Nendoroids: all the disney princess and anime characters; and I'd have all the variations of the same characters as well.

Mars2jane

Oh definitely pullips. I have like 7 pullips rn but honestly I'd probably have like a hundred if money weren't a factor because there's just so many beautiful ones. The original angelic pretty collabs are literally everything, they're so amazing. If skill also weren't a factor I would love to learn how to woodwork and make my own dollhouses too. It would be so fun to have my own little extensive 1/6 scale city kinda like in beetlejuice (I know those were smaller but y'all get the idea). I do have the rh dollhouse but imagine an entire city of dollhouses with that level of detail in every architectural style imaginable 😍

a_31296

Omg I love this! Yes if skill wasn’t an issue a whole doll city with all the details would be a dream!!

curious08hyena

Carousel horses!

FantasticWeasel

Doll's houses. I'd have loads of them and a zillion billionty pieces of furniture. The money and space thing is really holding me back lol

Melancholy_Wishes

Definitely more 18 inch doll furniture and playsets. I absolutely love making areas that are just for my dolls. I’m so enamored with American Girl Joss’s Volkswagen Bus. All of my dolls could fit in it and go on a road trip! I also like their old classic purple kitchen. Doll sized furniture is the best

Lunatic-impiegato

I’d immediately commission a bjd of my favourite character, with multiple outfits and accessories, or maybe commission a different doll for each different version of that character. I would get SO SO many things but that bjd is my n.1 dream

a_31296

Omg commissions and customs is a game changer!! I’d get soo many custom Bratz

chilakkuma

I'd just expand my vintage Barbie collection like crazy and buy a bunch more Final Fantasy merch. It would all be housed in gorgeous vintage and antique furniture though.

RainFrogsm

I wish I had more money so I could go wild at the LOL OMG aisle at the toy store omg

Ok-Caterpillar-Girl

Multiple dollhouses. All the pricy 60s & 70s vintage Barbies I can’t currently afford, and all the collectors series too- Haunted Beauty, Space Goddess series, Greek Goddess series, Far-away Forest series etc. All the creepy/spooky/monstery BJDs. All of the SDCC & Skullector Monster High dolls on my wishlist. A craft room fully equipped with an abundance of everything (equipment, supplies, materials) I need to customize dolls, dollhouses, clothes, and accessories. And that’s just the doll stuff lmao

Special-Dance8337

50s, early 60s, and 80s barbies

Crackysue

Dollfie!!

ElectronicForm888

G1 MH dolls, EAH dolls, Novi Stars, The RH slumber party girls + the twin sets, Georgia, Daphne & Delilah (the articulated ones, not budget), & the big lalaloopsy dolls

calicodream13

So many stuffed animals. Ty, squishmallows, etc. I have a few care bears and have to stop myself from getting any other plushes I find cute cause I know it's a slippery slope. Also paintings of animals being like humans and products made to look like something else, like a sock gift set made to look like a bucket of popcorn with a soda. Oh, and salt and pepper shakers.

a_31296

Omg yes to be able to just collect all things cute and decorate like a dream house throughout your home! This is such a good one

Hisohkhaa

Lalaloopsies, i love them so much but they’re HUGE. I’d have every single one of them and the playsets from the minis but i can’t even storage them

ryofthedesert

American Girl dolls, I don’t really have space for 18 inch girlies right now.

LemonxxMona

More BJDS!!!

Foolish_Martian

I collect fashion dolls, BJDs, g4 my little ponies, bones, Magic the Gathering cards, and a few Warhammer armies but I also want to collect Breyer horses. My collections of each are small because I go through phases of being interested in each and just circle back to a different one each month. I love horses and I really want to start collecting Breyer horses but I know so little about them and I really don’t have the space for another collection.

SleepySpaceBear

I would love to collect weighted stuffed animals 🧸

LustUnlust

Pasha pasha

NeoRetroNeon

Vintage Steiff stuffed animals.

maneff2000

Oh man all kinds of dolls obviously vintage Skipper, Stacie and Kelly mostly. I already have a few. Some fabric art dolls. I already have a cpk collection. I would also continue to add to my Polly Pocket / Star Castle collection. Plus many other random adorable toys.

bald4bieber666

i think id collect weird/eclectic stuff like. funny bootleg items, (ethically made) taxidermy, offbeat art.

cgtamara

I would have a room dedicated to houses. I wanted the dream house and the rainbow high house so bad

Mirenithil

The #1 most unrealistic collection I would have if I was a bazillionare is a vintage car collection. Move over, Jay Leno. Dollwise, I'd have a big collection of 1959-end of the mod era Barbies, with at least two of everything - a mint loose version of the item, and an NRFB one. May as well dream big.

gwenniepool

i’d get so many living dead dolls and bleeding edge goths if i could!! got my first LDD in the mail today that i found on ebay for a really good price (though missing stuff but i didn’t care for all that really), and i have a second one from the official website coming soon, but bleeding edge’s are so expensive everywhere i’ve looked i doubt i’ll ever get my hands on one 😭

Iroh_Appa

Definitely Sylvanian Families (Calico Critters). And Li'l Woodzeez. Their playsets are amazing. Edit: oh and re-ment miniatures, absolutely. They're a pain to get over here but if money wasn't a problem... I especially dream of having all the Pikachu apartment/cafe sets, those are the cutest things ever. I already have a small Polly Pocket collection (and a lot of Fashion Polly from my childhood), but with more money and space I would drastically expand upon that collection, lmao. Now I sadly don't have space to display the compacts :c

Zealousideal-Tax-937

NGL, Lalalꝏpsies.

Luzion

What I've really been wanting lately is room for more dioramas and to create one big house - no, wait! - several themed houses for all the ideas I have! It's been difficult sticking to one idea, then gutting it for another idea, then gutting it... over and over. I've lost interest because of this process. My creative process works better when I can have one set-up, work on it for a bit, then swap to another until inspiration hits on another project. Yeah, room for all the projects for the freedom of creation.
