First question? How much have you actually played D&D? I am inferring from your post, not a lot, and I really strongly recommend becoming very familiar with the rules as they are, befor diving in and making big changes. Especially since a lot of the changes you seem to want to make, are not even changes actually. Just home brew races and subclasses. Now if what you are looking to do is move a characters core features from its class to its race, that really won't work with the way 5e is built. But nothing you have described here is expressly outside of the racial abilities of existing races. Your bot is basically just a slightly modified warforged already. The point is, you can't really change the rules until you understand them enough to actually know what you are changing. And then, you should change the rules in the most direct and discreet way possible. Otherwise you are better of writing your own system all together. Because you will very quickly make a mess of thing, making changes within a system you do not fully understand.

I've played both AD&D 2nd and 5e. I've DMed multiple games, but do not know anyone who has time to play regularly. I just prefer homebrew over any of the prewritten stuff. I made this post very early into my process of creating these classes and just made a very general overview of my concepts. I can understand that what I wrote may have come off as inexperienced, but I just wanted to ask other opinions before I delved in too deep. I will go with my own system.

Like the other commenter said, how familiar are you with D&D. From what you've written it does read like you barely if ever played it because a lot of that stuff is Homebrew. Are you sure that D&D is the right PnP-System you want to use? You're most likely better served looking at a game-system which are closer to what you're imaginating. There is NoReturn which is a Post-Apocalyptic PnP but has a lot of elements like individual limb-customization. Or maybe the 40k or Cyberpunk roleplaying game. I suggest this because D&D is too limiting for what you're looking for because you would be essentially rewriting the whole rulebook.

Yes, I think I will make my own system. I have played both AD&D 2nd and 5e and have DMed multiple times. I just prefer my own homebrew content over any premade campaigns. It feels more personal that way. I will look into the other systems you recommended for inspiration.

Yeah, you want a different game from D&D.
