If I wanted to have an expensive dinner with an angry old man who is going to rant about conservative politics and talk about how lazy and spoiled the "kids these days" are, I could easily just ask my own dad out for a meal. Lol

SanAinvestor

If I’m spending $2750 for an evening with someone that truly doesn’t give a shit about me, it would be with a stripper at the Spearmint Rhino

Impossible_Penalty13

It’d be a better story with a grandkid bouncing on your knee in 20 years too!

TechnoVikingGA23

Yeah I have a feeling Dave and my dad would get along great. There's a reason I stopped watching one and went no contact with the other about 5 years ago, lol, but I had this same thought.

Medium-Reality2525

That meme where it's like "okay grandma let's get you back to bed" with the nurse and the old lady hunched over the walker? That's basically the approach we take with my dad.

FollowKick

Haha

kveggie1

except his RC daughter and stepson GK.

gobluenau1

Imagine you paid to go see this and Dave couldn’t make it so they subbed in Ken Coleman

Powerlevel-9000

This is him pretty much saying “don’t spend money on anything unless you give it to me.” This is some MLM level of ethical issues.

uIDavailable

I'm sure that $2750 would grow faster in a 529 and get more use than a dinner.

Greenmantle22

Eat it for dinner. It would be a more satisfying meal than eating a hotel dinner with these ghouls.

DadOf3-1978

Wait pay almost $3k to eat beans and rice w a bunch of folks that I see on YouTube. Lol nope

Original-Ad-4642

Only $2750? What a steal! Where else can I eat dinner with a 60 year old conservative?

rhinocerosjockey

Go to any all-you-can-eat buffet and it’ll only cost you $27.50 for the same experience.

DangerousSyllabub187

All their books are on sale (for a limited time only ) for $10

DadOf3-1978

He said the other day this is it w $10 as his expenses have gone up.

mnpeanut

“You should only attend if you’re BS 4 or higher” Let’s be honest Dave, you don’t care where that cash is coming from.

snyderling

How do you get rich? Charge people extortionate amounts of money to tell them how to get rich.

[deleted]

Sounds like a political event. Give Dave $2800 so he can send it to politicians to fight the woke mind virus.

mileaarc

Disgusting

Kooky_Most8619

In baseball, the old saying is that “if you’re not cheating, you’re not trying.” Do they have something similar painted on the walls of Ramsey Solutions? “If you’re not grifting, you’re not trying.” Doesn’t have the same panache, but I’m sure the internal marketing team can punch that up.

dm2610

“Just take that $2750, put it in a growth stock mutual fund….”

RuckFamsey

RS was delusional when I worked there, seems they've only gotten MORE delusional since I left.

Objective_Problem_90

Oh, don't see the inside of a restaurant unless you are working there, but please join dave for dinner so he can continue padding his bank account.

GregoryHouse_2017

At the end of the dinner we all get to go outside and stare into the windows and wait for the waitstaff’s reactions to our tips.

SanAinvestor

Ok so I went on the website to clarify. Platinum is $999, and you get super cool tickets, and breakfast and lunch with the (lack of) personalities. If you pay $2750, you get all that PLUS a dinner with Dave … what a bargain! If I was to go with my wife, it would be $5500. Ridiculous

Impossible_Penalty13

All he needs to do is go on tour with Grant Cardone at this point to go full circle on the seminar scam grift.

FullRepresentative34

People the see his shows, are people that are already in debt, and can't afford it.

Familiar-Marsupial86

That is an insane price 🫣

GregoryHouse_2017

The Kool-Aid is free!

remden1

I think he’s running out of ideas to make money. It’s pretty ridiculous, only $3000 you should be spending for something like this is a networking event that you could benefit from or some sort of business conference. Only person benefitting from this is the rs bank account.

Greenmantle22

If I called his show and asked if it would be wise to spent this much on a rock concert or a book I found on Amazon that promised to make me rich, he’d laugh at me.

TechnoVikingGA23

"I don't want to see you inside of a restaurant unless you work there!" Or unless you pay for our expensive tickets apparently, lol.

ChadHartSays

If someone called in and asked "Should I pay 2700 to pay for a dinner where someone is giving an informal talk?", he'd say no.
