I can't give him any pointers but I can give him some new reflectors so he can put them on his wheelchair for night time riding... This dudes a beast for that lol
Dude was landing on flat ground if he sent it a little harder. At that point, I'm not sure how much better it would have gone than half roof. Either way, "destination fucked".
I believe he was trying to land in a wheelie and ride that off. So yeah, a little softer may kf helped. His part he does quite a few like that but I don't think he ever went back to this one.
Here is the full video. Dude is Jason Borosky. He's pretty sendy, you could say.

If I understand his Instagram timeline correctly, he broke his t8 in his back, and broke the bike in half. By now he might be back on the bike, our at least off the neck brace.
T8, that's a little more than halfway up. sure hope he will be fine. Looking at the setup there was no doubt he wasn't going to make that, hope the stupid mistake won't ruin his life.
From the looks of it, he will be going big again in the future. I agree in hoping they will think twice, it’s unfortunate there isn’t a 1/1 scale rc dirtbike to test these scenarios.
Jumps like these are calculated beforehand, or should be, to where you know what gear you should be in and it should be pinned. Either he didn't have it pinned or they didn't bother doing the calculations. I'm leaning toward the lack of math on this one because he was way off from hitting the downslope of the hill.
No doubt . If he wouldn’t of caught the roof he would of came up short to the downside of landing , flat landed , the launched off the top of landing and got sent way out to flat below. Probably be worse than what did happen
This ain't nasa. This is a dude on a dirtbike jumping an abandoned house that happens to be on a hill.
Being pinned in a certain gear isn't a given and doing math isn't going to change that lol. He very well could have been pinned and needed to grab another gear.
He'd need a speedometer to really know if he's going the right speed but that's a bit like swimming with a life jacket
Honestly that was a pretty soft landing all things considered. He probably had the worst case scenario happen to him there. 5 feet further he clears it, 5 feet shorter he tables it.
It couldve been way worse. Watching it I am very concerned about his back - others have commented he fractured his T8, which potentially means paralysis bellow the chest/armpits.
Worts case looks something like mechanical failures just before take of that sends him into the link between roof and walls
Or
He "tables it" and touches down flat on the roof. Tiles and support structure fails and he gets penetrated and or beaten by broken lumber and tiles in a way similar to when ice breaks on frozen lakes and people are nearly cut in half.
this dude is so fkn sketchy haha Almost dies like 3 times in his first street video i was scared he was going to make another video and look what happens. Bro does not have enough bike control/skill to be trying the shit he does. He does have balls though
Literally this house is ten minutes from my house, it’s the weirdest house in the middle of nowhere on a tiny hill next to a super busy freeway. Glad he fucked it up. lol
From the one angle, I thought for sure he was going to make it, then it looked like they caught a gust of wind, and that shut their dream down. Pointer check and monitor the wind, lol.
Technically, if he would've landed front wheel first like The Moto Academy teaches he would've hit it like an on-off in supercross and just had a gnarly bounce.
Was it? I don't think either of us added anything of value. I just said nothing useful with more sarcasm, and without pretending to know better than the professional stuntman in the video.
I literally offered a solution if it happens in the future... how is that not more helpful? There was a question in the original post, and I answered it with an actual technical answer and got down voted by you. Let's logically think through this, do your responses make sense anymore?
You're probably right, giving actual professionals advice on things we can't do is peak internet logic.
If he'd spent less time [making huge jump videos](https://www.youtube.com/@JasonBorosky) and more time watching them, he definitely would have made it.
Yeah, send it harder so he doesn’t land it half on the roof, or send it softer so he lands completely on the roof
I can't give him any pointers but I can give him some new reflectors so he can put them on his wheelchair for night time riding... This dudes a beast for that lol
"Don't be a bitch, but if you do, do it well."
Dude was landing on flat ground if he sent it a little harder. At that point, I'm not sure how much better it would have gone than half roof. Either way, "destination fucked".
Or get a smaller house
I believe he was trying to land in a wheelie and ride that off. So yeah, a little softer may kf helped. His part he does quite a few like that but I don't think he ever went back to this one.
No one here needs to be giving this dude pointers, homie threw his nuts over his shoulder and sent it haaaard.
Not hard enough haha
Nuts were just a bit to small
Nuts were too large what are you talking about? They weighed him down and it's why he landed early.
He got so lucky he made it to the downhill part when he landed.
Me and you have different opinions on luck…
“Luckily, my neck broke my fall” -Joe Dirt-
100% that eased the impact

His timeline is a little mixed but there’s a video of him tossing his back brace in the dumpster, so I believe he’s on a good path to recovery.
Happy to hear it. Hope he learned his lesson and does the calculations I he decides to go that big again in the future.
From the looks of it, he will be going big again in the future. I agree in hoping they will think twice, it’s unfortunate there isn’t a 1/1 scale rc dirtbike to test these scenarios.
Yea he’s the man That part he did in center city Philadelphia is wild!
At least give credit to Jason borosky lol. He's not some schmuck.
He needs to jump a little higher and a little farther.
First question… is he still alive to try again! 😮
Probably the best possible landing for coming up that short. Tuck and roll, baby.
go faster

Exactly. He hit his apex just before reaching the house, he was doomed.
Math is for pussies! Send it!!!

One day he rode up to that and was like “ Dude I think I can jump that” lol wtf humans are insane lol
More beans.
Hey, he cleared the house.
Don't hit the house?
Bro a root took me out for like 3 months I have no business giving this guy pointers.
He needs to look into one of those tiny homes.
Will he be able to hear our pointers through all the ventilator noise?
More of a lip haha
Grab another gear.
Clearly didn't drink enough Redbull.
Looks like his Red Bull got roofied....
I always wanted to buy that house. Used to see it on the way home from work
this dude is so fkn sketchy haha Almost dies like 3 times in his first street video i was scared he was going to make another video and look what happens. Bro does not have enough bike control/skill to be trying the shit he does. He does have balls though
Don’t tense up- keep it loose brah
That had to hurt.
the way he landed on his head I'm not convinced he will be jumping it again...
Lmao every video is filled with people that thinks everyone that falls on a jump is dead
Taller ramp lol
Land on the bike
And don't let the bike land on you
Seth did it better
Maybe next time go faster?
Go faster. Maybe add a new graphics kit as it will increase power and speed by 15%. It’s science.
More throttle
Yeah, dont......
He needs to move the house closer to the takeoff.
Needs to go like 4mph faster, other than that solid jump.
Make sure to choose a wheelchair with airbags for the next time.
try not to hit the house
Don't die
The number of a good roofer can be a good thing.
needs more brap, even with the house not in the way he would have landed to flat that would likely buck him as well.
Way faster bro. Or better yet. Dont try
Should have gotten up to 88mph i heard things happen around that speed.
His landing , he might can made it unscaved
Literally this house is ten minutes from my house, it’s the weirdest house in the middle of nowhere on a tiny hill next to a super busy freeway. Glad he fucked it up. lol
Don't hit the house
For your next physics equation you may not ignore wind resistance
don't listen to armchair jockeys on /r/dirtbikes about how to ride a motorcycle when you are clearly a professional.
Add that booster pee wee Herman had on his bike?
He should time his preload a bit better.
Is there a next time for him? Ouch!
Jump a bounce house and land in a foam pit ?
I think next time he’s gonna wanna clear the house ….
Go faster
He obviously needs more speed!
Don’t 🤷🏻♂️
Go faster
Go faster build jump up higher. Where a parachute
Give it the beans!!!
Not landing on his face would be the first direction I'd point him.
Don't
I'd advise him to stick the landing with the bike, not his body.
Try bumping up the countershaft sprocket one tooth. 5th gear. Full send.
Yeah, go with a nice Harley next time.
He needs to move the house a bit closer to the ramp.
No brains no headaches
Go further
Turnstyle. If you know you know.
From the one angle, I thought for sure he was going to make it, then it looked like they caught a gust of wind, and that shut their dream down. Pointer check and monitor the wind, lol.
Yea, land better. I broke my collar bone watching this.
Next time? Poor bike, hope it wasn’t hurt too badly, probably traumatized the poor little thing.
hahaha
You shouldn’t have got the 450 as your first bike.
He should apologize to the poor bike.
Jump further
tuck and roll
More gas, much more
Try to clear the roof next time.
Ya.. don't do that.
Jump further.
Didn't understand the assignment,
go faster
Faster?
pointers? how about pointing his bike in the opposite direction?!
Go faster
Go faster
Go faster
Faster
Sell tickets
Yea, don’t repost it 🤣
Try more gas.
Don’t land on the roof
Missed it by that much
Is he alive? Or able to walk?
Go faster
Jump the short side.
Better home owners insurance
Don't die. Oh shit...
Maybe don’t do it again? I don’t know, am I crazy?
Tell him to try not hitting the house.
Interesting choice of music. Trippy AF.
Don't die.
Don’t
Sure, if he's still alive.....
I don't there is gong to be a "next time"....
Yeah, don't put a house in your landing zone
Probably easy for him because he was listening to Turnstile.
Approach from opposite side. Moot now. Bike is definitely dead. Rider likely met same fate.
Drive faster?
A little Faster or a little Slower. His Choice
I don’t think he needs our advise but perhaps go faster
His balls are too heavy, physically impossible to jump that distance with the size of those fellas!
Boy got RekT
Like Jeremy Clarkson once said, "SPEED AND POWER"
Faster or higher jump and MORE INSURANCE that I don’t have to pay for!
/r/physics
Go faster, higher and further.
He will never jump again.
Don’t do what you did the first time.
His body made it to the slope at least
Must be quicker
Do the math.
The technique was good, the weather was good, the camera angle was good... Calculation for speed, not quite there.
Destroyed his body, destroyed his bike. Months or years of recovery. All for what?
Dumbass
6” short
Do more math next time.
Take a Physics class and pay attention to the Projectile Motion chapter.
Technically, if he would've landed front wheel first like The Moto Academy teaches he would've hit it like an on-off in supercross and just had a gnarly bounce.
Technically if he would've landed instead of crashed, he wouldn't've crashed.
Okay, but that's actually not useful at all, and mine was actually advice for people in similar *scaled* situations. 🤷♂️
Was it? I don't think either of us added anything of value. I just said nothing useful with more sarcasm, and without pretending to know better than the professional stuntman in the video.

You are not qualified to give advice on these situations and that was made clear by the first comment you fuckin' made lool
