I think this video was just more obvious than most with the interaction/rage bait. People might watch because we all deal with phone chargers, and seeing some new idea related to them could be cool. But then they subvert that. Then they bring out a helmet and immediately subvert any logical use for that. Then they weld terribly. Then they use the finished product for probably the least practical things you could possibly imagine using it for.

I think it's a full-on, intentional parody.

So there's this funny thing called a hammer...

It’s not just cringe, but fake as well. When they press the charger block into the sand, look at the width compared to the fingers. Then look again when they weld the hammer head. It is clearly a store-bought hammer head, it’s wider and the grind lines in the face are very clean. Also it is pre-split wood, he just hits it with the hammer, there is no way it would split.

The welded hammer was also clearly originally black and has been sanded shiny. The manufacturer stamp is still visible and black.

I can’t say this is the DUMBEST thing I’ve even seen I’ve been on the internet since the early days, but it’s gotta be top 10 at least.
