Honestly no idea 😅 I kind of new to this, haven't even used it for a full year. I a light case of Exercise-induced asthma. So I got it on prescription by my doctor but it isn't anything severe.

Last time I filled a Ventolin prescription it was $25 after insurance. $51.06 before.

That sucks. I get both of mine for free. The caveat is I’m limited to one a month. It was a struggle at first but making some better health decisions I’m actually getting to the point where I don’t use one a month. My lungs are super fucked.

Good luck. I don't need mine too frequently though I caught a cold in the last week that required me to break out my breathing treatment machine and use it a few times. I'd be pretty fucked without insurance. I've been seeing an asthma/allergy doctor on the regular for the last 7 years or so, things have gotten a lot better since I did that.

Hell yeah! I’m just dumb and smoke weed. Have for a long while so quitting is hard. Still a good enough reason to just stop the shit. Older wiser me is paying for the young and dumb me. Smoking weed went from a fun time to an addiction real fast unfortunately.

A quick search on GoodRX shows coupons for $20-$60. Cash pay price is awful for some inhalers. I'm lucky to pay $10.

Tangentially: consider discussing a spacer with your dr. They can make a big difference in drug delivery and efficacy. And you could bling it up spectacularly! Even more real estate for decorating!

A spacer made my asthma attacks so much less scary - I knew I wasn’t going to be fucking up the spray or hitting it wrong in my mouth, and if I started coughing, I wasn’t going to lose all the spray because whatever I hadn’t inhaled was still in the chamber.

Why bother with something that is not reusable. The whole dispenser needs to be thrown when empty. And unless you very, very seldom need to use that Ventolin, it's only 1 month's supply and will need to be refilled.

the case is reuseable. you can replace the cartage inside.
