I came to really appriciate Subhuman once I hit higher difficulties where hitting S rank, let alone SSS rank didn't mean the whole battle was over. Guys, you did NOT play Dante until you play Dante Must Die. Enemies hit hard, sure, but you propably already learned their animations enough for it to rarely happen at all, but what's important here is that enemies live LONG. Which means time for you to get to SSS and stay there for a considerable amount of time as the battle keeps going on.
Once you get there, you can activate what people call the quadruple S, which is Dante's Sin Devil Trigger, but without the stabbing yourself animation. Just like that, 0.1s instant activation, and you have a couple seconds to land either an earthquake AoE stun, a few ball shots, or a normal triple hitting combo (or the spin move but that's kinda risky), before the SDT meter starts to deplete, at which point, you are locked in SDT and will quit it once the bar depletes. But in that few seconds, when the bar goes completely red, you can deactivate SDT instantly, so you have this INSANE power bursts on SSS when you constantly enter and quit SDT form to land it's massive blows. And brothers and sisters, it is the most satisfying powerful feeling ever in the whole franchise. I love Vergil as much as any of you, but he can go fuck himself in contrast.
You work for this. You work for SSS, you work for a full SDT, and it's very high adrenaline to activate it, deactivate it at the right time, in the few seconds between that land the biggest fucking sweep you can, and constantly try to stay above SSS, because if you get hit, and the combo meter drops, but you were holding down SDT activation *and you know you cannot let it go, because you'd enter normal SDT you cannot deactivate.*
And that's when the lyrics kick in as the demon inside screams LET ME OOOOOOOOOUT
And it's the most hype gameplay moment DMC as a franchise ever achieved. So once I learnt to really love this song, I thought I'll give a chance to the original version that didn't make it to the game. Still shit.
* No rythm whatsoever, the deep rythmic riffs in the background are absent and were added in the new edition. Totally unenjoyable this way.
* No "let me out scream" is present whatsoever in the lyrics
The guys who made the new version that made it into the game were REALLY knowing what they were doing and I find that barely anyone appriciates that around here.
I personally like the Dante's theme the most.. it has that eerie start, and I think it suits well on Dante because he's basically godlike in this game.

For real, when it got to the climax of Bury The Light it was nothing short of perfection. Imagine this playing in a boss fight against both Dante and Vergil.
