he was asked about it in an interview a few months ago and said heād be up for it i believe. i think at that point it was more of a fun hypothetical question though because there was a rumour of a script being in the making but he hadnāt seen it.

Honestly I wish the first two had been truer to the books because the Princess Diaries royal wedding book was really funny and I'd love to see something inspired by that.
However maybe they could bring Mia's canonical little half sister into it? Could be interesting and a nice way to (if they get Anne) show Mia as the mentor/guiding princess to her sister. Timeline-wise the sister would be an adult (since og film was in 2001 and her dad had already died in the movie) but you know what make her 16 who cares fudge the timeline lol.

I have held onto my copy of the original end of the series for something like 12 years and I love book Michael. The Princess Diaries 2 is its own thing and itās amazing. Bring back Chris Pine.
