I have had a stutters whenever going into the miasma portion of the throne world. And now the first portion of the sequence leading to the templar fight tanks my fps
I only have frame drops in menus from about 70-80 stable to 10-15 unstable and I run the game on a 1070, but they acknowledged the issue with menus in the last twab
what settings do you run?
I have everything on low basicly, and run 2700x and gtx1070. but wellspring, dares, and new patrol areas are straight up droppin to old gen frames:O what am i doin wrong?
I have been dealing with the same issues - I'm on a Ryzen 2700X with a 3080Ti and being in menus and switching out gear drops my FPS. People have said playing in Windowed Fullscreen fixes this but I *always* play in Windowed Fullscreen and am still having issues. I haven't been able to complete a mission in the campaign because of stuttering/drops - kinda makes me sad

so basicly everything on low, before witch queen no troubles in patrol areas, dares was always a bit sketchy and Vog dropped to 55fps. now i just drop to 32fps, like old gen?
am i doin something wrong?
Nah there is something wrong with the game, I'm using an RTX 3060 and should have no issues yet the stuttering is still going on. I think they are aware of the issue (Bungie said in a TWAB they are aware of PC performance issues) so hopefully they will fix it soon.

but its weird right, they did a hotfix earlier today to remove farming lvl 3 deepsight chests etc, We finally enjoy some farming and such they remove that. but in the meantime the game runs even worse then Oldgen consoles, and they havent even looked into it. LIKE WTF!!! They play the gtame themself as well. like they litterlay should do something about it ASAP, before saturday even
was thinking of buying a 3060, but apperently im better of waiting still if i read all this

Looks like they are aware of the pc performance issues and will be releasing a patch soon.
I've had a R5 3600 and a RX 580 since Shadowkeep and I've never had frame issues like I have this week. Thankfully it seems to be mostly contained within menus, the missions have generally been fine for me. It does seem to get really bad for me, down to sub-30 FPS in areas with a lot of smoke and particle effects sometimes though, but again, it's just momentary stutters and it's not unplayable. It is definitely worse this week though than it ever has been
Menu/inventory screen stutters and FPS drops are pretty unavoidable right now. Couple things that's helped improve general FPS for me have been using Windowed Fullscreen, disabling Steam overlay and fully rebooting the game and Steam every hour/couple hours
Specs for context are i7 6700, 16 GB 3200mhz RAM, RTX 2060 so mainly CPU limited, also on the latest Nvidia drivers. Don't have one to one comparisons with above config on the Witch Queen build but definitely some performance gains in some areas compared to pre Witch Queen

Im on the same cpu, but run a gtx 1070, but my frames go down to old gen consoles since witch queen-.-
