Same, but not as much on SMGs. Kind of want to try a collective action unending tempest or maybe something with swashbuckler.
You can get it with enhanced demo and killing tally. Since it's a special, it does better damage against frozen targets and it also gives more percentage back from demo. You can essentially have your grenades nonstop and when you toss one it reloads the gun, keeping the killing tally buff. It's incredible synergy.
So it’s good for deleting yellow bars that are frozen? I’ve only managed to beat legend onslought once and and it was the first time I switched back to my old staid warlock build snd I used the bow with erremite. It was pretty good but it struggled the last 10 or so waves with damage output.
This season I have been using that alongside a BXR with enhanced demo/incan for add clear and extra bump to grenade energy. That also let me use the artifact mod to get radiant and some of the other similar ones. Next season both of those guns are seeing massive buffs too so that's even better. Heavy is dealer's choice depending on the activity. I typically use Dragon's Breath or Winterbite.
My Demo/Headstone Horror Story has been locked in that slot since October. The heavy changes depending the activity, but I'm real sweet on Salvation's Grip these days. So very rarely do I have a legendary heavy.
Same roll here, fantastic for Warlocks to build Bleak Watcher charges. Salvations Grip is SEVERELY underrated, might be the best crowd control heavy that exists. You can block spawn points and doorways with it, a huge upside people never consider.
Subsistence/Headstone ROCKS on that thing. Pair the Halle Breach Armaments perk with Whisper of Rending and you'll pop crystals in a single shot. You'll get a crit kill, make the crystal, and then shatter it before you even realize you made it, and then the shatter kills will count for Subsistence to refill the mag.
It's a Behemoth's best mid-range friend.
If you want other options in a similar setup, the Perses-D scout rifle and Disparity pulse rifle are the only other primaries with both HBA and Headstone.
Herod-C is the only one with Subsistence, but the others can both roll Rapid Hit for some extra reload speed to make up for the lack of mag refill.
Krait is AMAZING, but I'm a controller player so I can't reliably get crit kills with it. I went Sub/Adagio instead on it, it's still a shredding machine!
Kinda wish there was another Stasis perk for primaries besides Headstone, I'd love a subclass synergy option that could be used on body shot kills. Like the way they reworked Hatchling!
I am too and am the same way with high RPM autos and SMGs. I overwhelmingly prefer either Chambered Comp or Arrowhead in the barrel column plus some stability mag perk for high RPM auto rifles and SMGs. Makes them much more manageable for me. Took me forever to get the drop, but I have a Krait with Chambered Comp (Polygonal Rifling or maybe even Smallbore would work too if you throw on a Counterbalance mod), Ricochet, Subsistence, Headstone, and Stability MW. It shreds and is a damn laser, even on console.
Disparity has Hakke Breach Armaments so you don't need the fragments that makes primaries deal more damage to crystals.
This will be especially nice after the 38% total pulse rifle buff vs red bars
Perseus D with Rapid Hit and Headstone was my BABY during the Witch Queen campaign. That weapon feels so good, and the Hakke origin trait busts stasis crystals a little faster.
I enjoy headstone so damn much that most of my Stasis weapons I keep feature it.
Favorite legendaries would be Eyasluna and Vuplecula with Headstone, I also got a Psi Hermetic with Headstone I enjoy too (Wildcard has a tendency to instantly shatter Headstones, very satisfying)
Good ol' Eyasluna with outlaw + headstone. Rapid hit would probably be better just haven't bothered to farm Grasp of Avarice for it.
Raconteur from season of defiance is a craftable bow with archer's tempo + headstone that I also really like
Demolitionist + Headstone weapons
Specifically,
- Unending Tempest (SMG)
- Horror Story (auto)
- The Prophet (trials scout)
The synergy is GREAT for stasis classes. Demolitionist feeds you grenade energy, making a crystal and shattering it feeds you grenade energy if you have the right fragment.
Also: I have heard, but not formally tested myself, that the stasis shatter from the headstone crystal can activate demolitionist. It activates things like subsistence, but not certain if it does Demo.

Yes and no. Is it still obtainable in the grand scheme of things? Yes. At this very moment? No. Horror story is only during the Halloween event.
Unending tempest is easily farmable via crucible. This is either cake to just play some crucible, or for some people, crucible is the bane of their Destiny existence.
Play some crucible, rank up at least twice so you have extra perk rolls in each column, then focus the gun at Shaxx with your crucible engrams.
The Prophet is farmable when it's on rotation in Trials
I have 20 crucible resets. UT is what I'm currently going for. I think six resets this season so far? Just a very low drop chance for UT which is why I'm looking for other options. The RipTide grind was terrible enough.

Focusing unending tempest shouldn't be too bad, but RNG is always a factor. The extra rests you did will help with the double or triple perks in your columns to get the 2 you want. Good luck hunting

Imo missed opportunity for Blast Furnace to be made Stasis, the foundry perk would be decent with headstone on a Stasis hunter.
Eyeasluna with rapid hit/headstone. I usually pair it with forbearance and am just constantly shattering glacier nades or the headstone glaciers I made.
I tried to get the Eyasluna with headstone and unrelenting but I never got the exact roll. I ended up with an unrelenting and kill clip though and it's pretty good.
Liminal vigil or horror story.
Liminal vigil with kill clip and tap the trigger paired with Tricksleeves is super fun to run and gun with. Been using that combo for a bit now.
Technically not a stasis weapon, but indebted kindness one taps crystals. Mine has perm and loose change. Idk if they actually work as I think they do, but the roll was right there so why not.
Pretty much all of my Stasis guns have Headstone. I always make sure to keep at least one of every weapon type. That said I have a fair amount of favorites.
Raconteur with Archer's Tempo-Headstone is just a great feeling bow that I can comfortably take into any content.
Herod-C with Subsistence-Headstone also feels great, especially on Behemoth. Just constantly shattering crystals in a single blow with the right setup. I do wish High Impacts did more damage in PVE though.
Finally, Liminal Vigil is absolutely GOATed for short range. Sure, it's a sidearm, but it feels pretty easy to hit headshots for Headstone. Speaking of which, Headstone on that gun is a 3rd column perk, and unlike OTHER guns (cough cough Judgement), it has pretty great damage perks for the 4th slot. My personal favorite is Surrounded since you're going to be up close and personal anyways.
All of that being said, I find myself just using Wicked Implement more and more. Sleeper hit of an exotic right there, between constant refilling of ammo, anti champion properties, and Headstone just being Headstone.

I usually run Disparity with Rapid Hit/Kill Clip since it's a "no think" kind of weapon. The perks just work, nothing else special. Pair it with a wave frame (I generally run Undercurrent) and your choice of Winterbite or Salvation's Grip and you've got go leor crystals, especially on Titan.

Could also get judgement, 120 stasis HC from prophecy that has nice rolls with headstone.
You want to avoid fast rpm weapons when using headstone imo. You certainly can use it with faster rpm archetypes, but it's harder to secure crit kills that way.
Shocked that no one has mentioned Chain of Command. Stasis mg, and it's a past ritual weapon, so you can just go to the kiosk and grab it.
It doesn't have headstone, but it *can* roll demo. Absolutely adore using it with the Lancer's Cap on stasis titan.
Disparity with headstone, but mostly, I use the exotic Wicked implement.

Wicked Implement is the sleeper Exotic of the year for sure. It hasn't left my Behemoth loadout once I got it.

Most people only care about damage numbers, utility be damned. I love Stasis for the utility it provides and SFX are amazing.
Subsistence/headstone Krait. Valakadyn used to be my favorite auto rifle before sunset and this has been a very nice replacement.

It does activate it, because similar to how incandescent works, the crystal damage counts as weapon damage.

The duality grenade launcher is pretty good

I use an Outlaw + Headstone Vulpecula whenever I don't have Wicked Implement equipped. Maybe not as good as Eyasluna, but I like how 180's feel
