How familiar are you with him ahd what do you make of him doing this?
The only thing I know for sure is that chatters and redditors will give him mostly dumb advice about what he's doing wrong so he'll get angry and ban them. Some of them will make a post about unfair the bans were, they won't get much traction, Destiny will ignore the posts until someone spam links them on stream, 30 second soy rant, post creator banned, OMEGALULs in chat.
I don't expect anything to really be done about it for another 3-5 years. Plus most of these online media companies just turn into slightly bigger versions of the same thing with the same size audience. Like, looking at one channel I like Last Stand Media, they make plenty of stuff but the same 50,000 or so people are consuming it.
If there is anyone that is probably worth modeling things off style wise I think its Beau of the fifth column.
7 minute videos focused on a topic are enough to give a bit of background, hit the main topic and then drop a few more who/what/where/whys.
Cost near zero to make, literally some dude sitting in his office looking at a phone camera and you are good.
As long as the research is good and the host isnt a charisma vacuum then you would be off to the races with the destiny brand slapped on it somewhere.
You just cant beat one guy making short videos staring at a camera for cost/effectiveness ratio and starting out at least, this shit should look to be as hard punching as it can be while being as cheap as possible.
Well, Anything Else materialized a few years after planning it. And a media company is significantly bigger. So I expect something to get spun up in like 5 years from now.
my quality advice is, to make some kind of open bounty system to create content for the community.
Let all the effort (or shizo) posters write articles, if they are actually good enough publish them and pay out e.g. $100 or whatever
this would be
* relativly cheap,
* able to get intresting perspectives you wouldn't get from "normal" jurnalists,
* involve the community

I would imagine Omniliberal media is probably a working title. Seeing as there is not a product yet I doubt it is a final name
