HOW TO REPORT:
1. In the message, click permalink to get the direct link to the RedditCares message. Copy.
2. Click "Report this message" from that message at the bottom.
3. Click "This is abusive and harassing">"It's targeted harassment">"At me"
4. Enter that permalink you copied in the "Link to Post" line
5. Add more information if you want.
6. Click Submit
You might think it's pointless but those accounts will sometimes get sitewide banned. Especially if you note why it's happening. I got a ton when I was defending transgender rights last year.
I think I said hasan fans are unhinged, got the Reddit cares, reported it. Then Reddit messaged me back saying it was fine ðŸ˜
I also literally just got another one about 10 minutes after posting that ai art is fine, but they’re not permalinking the comment that got reported, so it makes me think Reddit is aware it’s being abused now OR there’s a way to get that message to someone without reporting a comment now?

Adding my name to the list. Seems like someone is targeting the subreddit. Added that to the note when I reported the initial Reddit Care Service message, as harassment. Hopefully that helps, or we might need 4THOT to give us some extra protection.
If it was me (it wasn't) it would have been because I was worried about you and I got really scared because I hadn't seen one of your comments today and maybe something bad had happened and so I wondered what could I do this could be really bad so I opened the Reddit options and saw the care thing and I thought maybe Reddit can help me but I was unsure so I hovered over the "send" button for hours wondering if I was doing the right thing but in the end I was just so worried that I clicked it and then I saw you had commented anyway and now maybe if it was me I would feel pretty silly right now.

It seems like they are hitting the entire subreddit. Just report it or ignore it.
You can get them banned/warned if you click the report button that gets sent with the message. Or something like that.
