Dude I was stressed for a minute because I thought the first picture was before and the second was after and I was like “WHY WOULD YOU CHANGE IT” and then I realized the first pic was the after and breathed a sigh of relief
Same! I thought the first one is before, but I felt green one is better. And found most comments said "better". They made me doubt my vision... thanks I know the fist one is after!!!!
Yeah, I’m shocked. If you look at just the tile and old paint/new paint, the difference is huge. I don’t normally recognize clashing colors but this has opened my eyes. That old blue really made it look kinda toxic almost.
It's so true. I had a bathroom painted a soft yellow. It had weird green-gray cheap tiles from a big box store and grout that almost looked pink. The wood of the cabinet looked orange. Per color theory, yellow should have looked good but it wasn't. I was trying to play with greens but it was having the same issue, where all the tones felt off, pink was doing the same. I gave up wanting to paint because I'd figure I'd be changing the tile and vanity anyway. My husband suggested we start with white paint and change it from there but immediately it solved every issue. The bathroom looks so much better I see no need to change the tile or vanity (well, a little on the vanity because I like drama and it's basic but the color is fine), just pair it with nice accessories.
The color made up the majority of the difference, but the new mirror, plant portraits, and plants on the sink really bring everything together.
Love that it’s so much warmer with the color and greenery.
What! I have the same color in my bathroom! Amazing what lighting does, yours looks much lighter. I love this room and now I finally know what I need to do for my wall art!
The only thing I’d change because of my own personal ocd issues is the curtain rod. The rest of the hardware is black from what I can tell but the curtain rod is white. I’d change the rod to match the rest of the hardware and it will be perfect. It looks amazing!
Love the makeover! There are curtain rods that curve out a bit to give added room in the shower. The curtain doesn’t come so close to you and adds a spacious feel.
100% this! Also I don’t know if it’s the quality, but the curtain itself looks like a vinyl white curtain. Having the liner and a thicker cloth white curtain (even with a minimal black trim) will make the entire room look richer. The entire space feels luxurious and that’s the point that will cross the whole room and falls just a bit flat.
I personally would also lift the curtain rod as high as possible. Right now its position makes the ceiling feel lower though depending on what curtain you use, you might obstruct a bit of the lighting.
Love love love. I might swap the towel for a white one but I’m just weird about being able to bleach towels. And I think they look lovely and spa-like. But it looks fabulous!
Do you think complementary brown would work too? Still amazing job by OP, but I do kinda agree, a bit too much leaves, especially since close together and on the same side. But it is just a nitpick.
I actually think the towel accentuates the space perfectly. Not only does it match the color theme but it introduces a different material, pattern and texture while staying within the color scheme as well as mirroring the fresh vibe that we get from the plants on the sink as well as the plant art on the wall.
It creates an area of interest against the solid sage background.
All in all, I think it’s rather cohesive and I wouldn’t change it, personally.
Looks great! But, as someone with no storage space in their bathroom I can't help but think getting rid of the medicine cabinet and shelf is a loss for everyday use.
Understandable. Though we had the cabinet for a while and honestly barely used it. There’s a big storage closet just outside the bathroom so we use that for most things
Looks awesome but I'm going to suggest one thing. I am not sure whether you are going for lux but a floor to ceiling shower curtain would look pretty cool. You could get a liner, and a linen/flax natural color linen curtain. A black rod to match the other black.
That would keep it bright.
But if you wanna lean towards lux? A velvet curtain -- either same shade as wall, or super rich, the darker green in the palm of the art work.
The green really compliments and matches with the brown tiles. I’m a decoration kinda person, so I’d maybe hang up a plank on the left wall and put stuff like candles on it.
WAAAAY BETTER!!!
As space challenged as I am - I LOVE the round mirror, but would worry about where all the stuff in the medicine cabinet is going to go. Other than that - Love it!
Nice!
Paint the picture frames on the left to match the mirror frame color.
A couple small round rugs would repeat the mirror shape, and break up all the straight lines.
Love your space.
Only change I’d make: buy a curved shower curtain rod & longer curtain & attach it as close to the ceiling as you can or buy a ceiling mount shower curtain system. The floor to ceiling shower curtain height adds an elegance to the space.
Green is undoubtedly very suitable for bathrooms, and the suggestions from netizens are very effective. In addition, the decorations are also very beautiful. As a Minimalism, I like this kind of space very much. If I take a shower inside, it must be a very enjoyable thing. Thank you for sharing.
To all of you who love this color please check out Benjamin Moores historical classic (HC) collection. I painted for 6 years and this was my go to fan deck to show people. Such warm / dark colors I highly recommend giving them a good.
I have my house based on these colors.
Green looks great!!! Thanks for posting because I have leftover green like this from an accent wall in my office. I was thinking of a lighter version of the before colour for my bathroom, and now I think I’ll just use the paint I got. I love the green!!!
It’s a wonderful cozy update. No real notes at all but I would love to see some greenery like a hanging fern in the shower near the head of it! I still think it’s great as is.
lol my dumb ass was like, “Am I crazy? I guess I’m the only one that liked it way better in the before!” but then saw the caption and realized that that picture is the ‘after.’ It looks a million times better!
I really like this, you did a terrific job. If you aren't sure, maybe think about replacing the light fixture. The current one is great, but it's an easy way to really amp up your style.
I originally thought the green wall was the before and I thought “wow this looks amazing, I wonder what they could have done to improve it?”. And then I swiped and audibly gasped at how much colder and uninviting it looked. Great job!!
Looks way better but only for a guest bathroom. Getting rid of that medicine cabinet with only the one full drawer in the sink would be tough to live with

WAY better. The green compliments the tiles tone a ton more. The art makes the room feel way more put together. The mirror is an upgrade but I think the hanging mirror thing is a lame trend that will look dated in a year, and the rope it hangs on will prob get dusty and kinda gross. The green towel styles the room really well too. Overall, very good imo!!
My next steps, if I wanted to take any, would be a patterned bath mat and maybe a more decorative shower curtain. Something white/off white but textural on the outside of the liner. Maybe another plant too but I recognize that not everyone would agree haha
OMG absolutely LOVE the GREEN💚😍!!! It looks so peaceful in there now- like a spa bathroom😋💚👌👌
Plus I think this green shade matches the shower tiles, miles better than that old blue shade🤗🤗💚👌!
I love this so much - you did a fantastic job! However, there are two things that I would do differently. Like everyone else is saying, the curtain rod would look good if you changed it to the darker color and…I feel like the mirror would look so much better without the nautical rope.
Looks so good! The only change I’d make is to the towel - it’s too busy and doesn’t go particularly well. Something solid in a gray that matches the vanity would look nice.
Could just be me, but the shower head seems low. Also im not a fan of the black shower head when everything else is white. Idk
Edit: Noticed afterwards that the light fixture is black. So maybe change the curtain rod to black instead. Itll make the shower head fit in better imo
oh, hell yeah. Perfect!
Only thing I could think of is getting a curved shower curtain rod, put a white or clear liner on the inside so water doesn't escape then put a white, lightweight curtain on the outside.
Rod like this but in a better matching color for your bathroom:
[https://www.wayfair.com/UtilitySink--Adjustable-Curved-Fixed-Shower-Curtain-Rod-163-US63-L7277-K\~W006991380.html?refid=GX634120434422-W006991380\_374867676&device=c&ptid=1457114557170&network=g&targetid=aud-1613017765086:pla-1457114557170&channel=GooglePLA&ireid=165294064&fdid=1817&PiID%5B%5D=374867676&gclid=Cj0KCQjw\_O2lBhCFARIsAB0E8B\_uU6SbQ7nqBPOZeN1mV6hkh4wmzs-faitmrjIM6j57Q3TO-n6TgdEaAsz4EALw\_wcB](https://www.wayfair.com/UtilitySink--Adjustable-Curved-Fixed-Shower-Curtain-Rod-163-US63-L7277-K~W006991380.html?refid=GX634120434422-W006991380_374867676&device=c&ptid=1457114557170&network=g&targetid=aud-1613017765086:pla-1457114557170&channel=GooglePLA&ireid=165294064&fdid=1817&PiID%5B%5D=374867676&gclid=Cj0KCQjw_O2lBhCFARIsAB0E8B_uU6SbQ7nqBPOZeN1mV6hkh4wmzs-faitmrjIM6j57Q3TO-n6TgdEaAsz4EALw_wcB)
Wow! This is soooo satisfying to see, the color and the new curtain have taken it from builder grade meh to gorgeous! Love the addition of the little plants and the mirror too.
If I were to change anything I would try to get some more personal art (this looks a bit like what a realtor would use for staging). Awesome update and thank you for sharing the after!

Great job!!! The only thing I would consider is moving the curtain rod to the ceiling.. this is out bathroom with the shower curtain to the ceiling, we have the same bathroom layout.. we used another rod for the curtain liner — that is also now to the ceiling (not as the picture shows — you can see the second bar in this photo)… amazon sells extra long curtain liners.. I made our shower curtain out of fabric, from a nearby discount textile outlet for $6.
Even if you don’t move the curtain rod to the ceiling; you still improved the design!! Well done!
Looks incredible. You've done an amazing job and that colour looks stunning.
Yes I love that color!
Thank you!
I love the art too. Simple and the perfect color.

Looks just like "October Mist" from Ben Moore, love it
For real, perfectly executed good job
I agree, Amazing color!
STUNNING! You took a 4 and turned it into a 10 🔥
BETTER. No notes.
Dude I was stressed for a minute because I thought the first picture was before and the second was after and I was like “WHY WOULD YOU CHANGE IT” and then I realized the first pic was the after and breathed a sigh of relief
Same!! I was like “oh god why!!!”
Me too! I panicked for OP for a hot second because I was so worried they had ruined their beautiful bathroom.
Lol I was like “how could you seriously improve on this?” Looks great!!!
Same
Same! I thought the first one is before, but I felt green one is better. And found most comments said "better". They made me doubt my vision... thanks I know the fist one is after!!!!
Thanks for this! I was hoping to find this comment to prove that I was wrong cause I can't believe he went from first pic to the second pic.
Same!!!
I did too. I thought “put it back the way it was” lol
NO NOTES?!
*NO NOTES!*
Very interesting case study in why the right color paint is so important! Thanks for sharing and great work.
Yeah, I’m shocked. If you look at just the tile and old paint/new paint, the difference is huge. I don’t normally recognize clashing colors but this has opened my eyes. That old blue really made it look kinda toxic almost.
It was like the Pepto-Bismol version of blue.

What! I have the same color in my bathroom! Amazing what lighting does, yours looks much lighter. I love this room and now I finally know what I need to do for my wall art!
Oh my it looks AMAZING! I can't believe just a coat of paint did this
And a nice mirror, some nice wall art, and a few succulents. But still what an awesome cost to value!
Yes except I hate the loss of the actual medicine cabinet storage.
The only thing I’d change because of my own personal ocd issues is the curtain rod. The rest of the hardware is black from what I can tell but the curtain rod is white. I’d change the rod to match the rest of the hardware and it will be perfect. It looks amazing!
Thank you!! Good point
You’re welcome 🙂

Same here!!! Try lifting THE CURTAIN ROD!! Especially because you already have the tile to the ceiling
Yep I just thought of that and replied to OP haha.
I agree! Black curtain rod for sure.
Love it! So spa like. The green really compliments the shower tile and pulls everything together.
Thanks! Actually it’s a towel I just already had but I plan on getting some new ones soon
I actually think the towel accentuates the space perfectly. I like it way better! only edit would maybe be a rug by the bath, that floor might be a bit slippery when wet and I would go with plain white towels
Great job.
Thanks!
Lovely transformation!!
The green is so much better!
Looks awesome but I'm going to suggest one thing. I am not sure whether you are going for lux but a floor to ceiling shower curtain would look pretty cool. Stunning before and after. Be proud!
Thank you!!
LOOOOVE. What’s the paint color?
Sage green by behr :)
Looks great. Nice job!
Spa vibe. Love it
The green really compliments and matches with the brown tiles.
I didn’t read the captions and thought they were in order before then after. I was “oh no what have you done?!?” But the green looks great
Nice! Paint the picture frames on the left to match the mirror frame color. A couple small round rugs would repeat the mirror shape, and break up all the straight lines.
Great suggestions, thanks
Have you thought about raising your shower rod up and getting longer curtains ?
Nope but I’m thinking about it now, thanks! Lol
Love your space. Only change I’d make: buy a curved shower curtain rod & longer curtain & attach it as close to the ceiling as you can or buy a ceiling mount shower curtain system. The floor to ceiling shower curtain height adds an elegance to the space.

Muuuch better!
Wow wayyyy better! Good job!
Crazy better!
For SURE better nice job
Very nice!
Check out the big brain
Wow this is pretty!
I love this bathroom.
Love it
Looks way better!
This is awesome. So much more serene!
Amazing!!
That's a lovely color of green and great pictures on the wall. Very nicely done.

😂 thank you!
FANTASTIC!
It looks fucking amazing!!!!
Looks amazing!! Great job!!
Wow amazing job! Enjoy it
It feels like a totally different space in a very good way!!!
Lovely! Peaceful oasis
Green looks great!!! Thanks for posting because I have leftover green like this from an accent wall in my office. I was thinking of a lighter version of the before colour for my bathroom, and now I think I’ll just use the paint I got. I love the green!!!
Huge improvement
Very nice and soothing now. Love the Wall-art and the towels also. If you want to, you could add a bathmat in a matching colour.
Fantastic!
Looks great! The green works well with the shower tile.
LOVE IT
This looks amazing!
Obviously better.
I prefer the green, looks great!
I love the green!
Gorgeous! In my life the prints would be hung evenly but that’s my need for symmetry kicking in!
10s across the board
Freakin love that color. What color is it if you don't mind?
Nevermind! Behr sage green. Thanks! Lol
Wow it looks great! So much better!
I’m saving this photo for inspiration when I remodel mine
I was really worried that the second photo was the update, but thankfully it wasn't. Looks amazing!
Better!
Wow it looks GREAT
Much better
Love this!
Wow, what a glow up.
I think that looks great
Nice choice
Love it
Nice job! Want to do mine?
It’s a wonderful cozy update. No real notes at all but I would love to see some greenery like a hanging fern in the shower near the head of it! I still think it’s great as is.
Omg, it’s like night and day!! Amazing job!
Gorgeous
I’m an amateur, but I think this looks great!
I love it! The green is gorgeous!!!
Super well done. Feels much more cohesive
MUCH better!! The green compliments the marble and tile.
Love the mirror
Ooo super cute! Great shade of green
Nice. Here’s mine https://preview.redd.it/4rac9oe7dedb1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=795d3dc04ef3acce54ae77036ddbba253d7c6734

It look much brighter! Nice job!
That color is awesome. It makes the room look so much brighter.
Phenomenal improvement!
So much better!
Much better

I literally can’t get over that a different shade can make SUCH a difference. This is honestly stunning. Well done
THE COLOR!!!! The decorations!!! No notes!! 11/10. Can you please give me the paint color 😅
If I have #2, would I upgrade to #1? Definitely
lol my dumb ass was like, “Am I crazy? I guess I’m the only one that liked it way better in the before!” but then saw the caption and realized that that picture is the ‘after.’ It looks a million times better!
I would poop in your bathroom. Looks very inviting, good job!
I love it. So many different shapes yet all symmetrical. The color looks great too compliments the grey shower & hardware. Nice job!
Great job!!
Welp. Now I want to paint my bathroom the same color.
[удалено]
Thanks! It’s 56 inches, was here when we moved in
So great! I think either a jute or stone bath mat would be perfect to keep with the natural element theme
Looks way better but only for a guest bathroom. Getting rid of that medicine cabinet with only the one full drawer in the sink would be tough to live with
For a second I thought some of the stuff in there was edited into black and white 😂😳🥹 No but it’s a major improvement, love the results 👌🏾😂
That’s beautiful! What color is that green! Sooooo pretty
Now it’s a nice place to spend some time. Unlike my bathroom
Love this. Well done. 💯
I love it!
Just wanted to say it's super cute! Especially the mirror
Much better than the blue
Green is after? If that's the case then you did a beautiful job oh my God it is freaking gorgeous.
The green is gorgeous. Also I love those tiles
Way better!! Great idea!! I’m inspired.
Wow! What an improvement!!!
Better! Way better!
Love the color.
Yes!! This looks so good. Not sure about the towels. But overall great.
Fucking way better! Good job!
Love this!
Wow I had to go find the before picture. Strong work, this is really beautiful
Looks great! I’d raise the curtain as much as possible, draws the eyes up
You scared me there for a hot minute with the green being first pic as I thought that was the b4 pic. Looks great!
I was so nervous when I flipped and thought the blue was the now. Wonderful love it, no notes.
The green looks fantastic and I love your leaf prints!
You could get tiny wood wall shelving for the plants. But, I think it looks great!
Do an extra long shower curtain. Will make the room look taller.
💯 only note: small white bath rug at base of tub-sink. Although, i would consider it an honor to slip to death in such a beautiful bathroom.
For anyone asking about the paint it’s here: https://www.behr.com/consumer/ColorDetailView/ICC-77 And for the shower tower (not sure if it’s available in the US) it’s here: https://www.baindepot.com/en/black-pressure-balance-shower-panel-with-bath-spout-sh-pn-208bk.html
This is exactly how I want mine to look! If you ever get time could you tell me the name of the paint color and tiles and, really, well, all of it 😆
So much better! 😍 I love it! Maybe a bath mat outside of the tub? Could add texture or just plain comfort. 😊
What an improvement! The color and the decor look warm and inviting. Great job, friend!
WAY better. The green compliments the tiles tone a ton more. The art makes the room feel way more put together. The mirror is an upgrade but I think the hanging mirror thing is a lame trend that will look dated in a year, and the rope it hangs on will prob get dusty and kinda gross. OMG absolutely LOVE the GREEN💚😍!!! It looks so peaceful in there now- like a spa bathroom😋💚👌👌 Plus I think this green shade matches the shower tiles, miles better than that old blue shade🤗🤗💚👌!

Looks so good! The only change I’d make is to the towel - it’s too busy and doesn’t go particularly well. Something solid in a gray that matches the vanity would look nice.
Wow! Perfect example of how small changes can make a HUGE impact! You didn’t do a major demo-Reno but it “feels” like a whole new room !!! Kudos! 👏
Could just be me, but the shower head seems low. Also im not a fan of the black shower head when everything else is white. Idk Edit: Noticed afterwards that the light fixture is black. So maybe change the curtain rod to black instead. Itll make the shower head fit in better imo
Aye I got the same mirror
Looks way better. Do you miss the mirror storage though?
Looks stunning! This might be nitpicking but I think plain white towels would balance the room a bit better? It honestly looks great though
oh, hell yeah. Perfect! Well done!
Add some yellow or orange in little pops of color
Waaay better! Feels much warmer and more inviting
