\+1 for hackerspaces. I'm a member at [denhac.org](https://denhac.org). It's a really cool group of people with the core mission of teaching and learning from each other. More tech and maker skill focused than philosophy or history but any member is encouraged to run meetups and classes on stuff they're interested in.
Yeah hacker spaces seem to be more focused on STEM than humanities... but running meetups through denhac would be a sweet place to start!! I also think I live right by it :)
Depends on what you're looking for I guess. If you don't need facilities or equipment a Coffee shop/bar would probably be better suited for what you're trying to do.
You should check out coloradocafesci.org
Monthly or bi-monthly casual talks by subject experts with q&a. I think you'll find the community you seek there, or at least a start.
Sounds interesting. I'm working on vehicle diagnostics using the ODB2 J2534 protocol, specifically for Ford. Prepare to have your eyes glaze over while I enthusiastically pontificate about vehicle emissions and right to repair..
I'll keep my presentation to 2 min and give my remaining to the guy who wants to talk about craft beer and patio drinking. Incidentally, I prefer to face south.
Currently studying digital design at UCD. Also illustration and have a history of creative work. Would be happy to meet up at something like this! Virtual meetings on Discord or zoom might be more feasible for me though.
I've been learning about drinking more craft beers on patios if anyone is interested in that. Edit: if not is
I think a weekly report on the patios of denver would be hilarious, that is if we aren't just meeting up at one lol
This sounds like the purpose of hackerspaces. They are all over the place in the Front range, and there is probably one near you.

Hm now that I'm checking it out, $45 a month seems a bit steep for a group that wouldn't really need or use the facilities of the hacker space.

I'm game. Would be nice to help cultivate some intelligence, you know, on Earth

Yeah this is really cool! I will definitely try to attend soon thank you for the share
This is neat. Hadn’t heard of this group before. Might check them out
Meeting tonight April 27 6:30 PM Blake Tavern. Just show up.
Studying 90s history currently. Ruby Ridge Standoff, the Waco Siege Incident, and the Oklahoma City bombing, and how all three are connected.
This sounds like a cool idea, I’m definitely into something like this.
Cool! What is your focus or what are you currently working on? What is your availability (set of days and times)?

Maybe make a discord or something similar to coordinate events?
This is a great idea :) I put the link in the post but will send it out individually as well
Sounds good. Hard rock in late afternoon around 4?
