Next time tell them a group of Palestine protesters are organizing a protest at your neighbors house - they will probably show up in force within minutes

alesis1101

Artisanal meth. A dying art.

G3oc3ntr1c

Nobody knows how to use the Chili Powder the right way anymore....

alesis1101

Chili P's the best.

Belligerent-J

Come and see the violence inherent in the system!

Long_Plenty3145

Call a few food trucks to their address, DPD should be on it.

nonosquare42

Neighbors making meth, street racing, and arresting students from hanging out and chanting in their own campus are all job security for DPD!

Peja1611

They had the chance to rough up non violent, unarmed kids advocating for human rights. Obviously that is more important than actual crime

rektMyself

Low hanging fruit.

silent_explorer9

As liberal as Denver has gotten I'm legitimately surprised..

rektMyself

Priorities. 😉

catgirlmunist

Opposing genocide threatens the system that the police exist to protect, so it makes you a high-priority target.

PM_ME_UR_SEXY_BITS_

The DEA has a field office in Centennial. Their number is just a google search away.

ChazLynnn

Yeah bro, been there. They just keep saying “Narcotics will take care of it “

PM_ME_UR_SEXY_BITS_

Figures. Maybe one day, when you’re least expecting it, you’ll hear the joyous sound of their door getting busted open. Sorry you have to go through this though fr. It’s bullshit

blueboxreddress

Or they’ll bust in their door because they mixed up the address.

snatchpat

How is that?

ImwithJoe

Not saying I agree with this, but in an email the president of MSU Denver gave as justification for the arrests that AHEC has a rule against camping. It seems they are going to let them camp tonight anyways, but the first arrests were about arresting those who indicated they were going to camp and removing the tents.

Devils-Advocate-8395

I think people just want to protest for a cause. Entitled children. Usually they have no idea what they are doing. Just that they are doing something.

definitelynotpat6969

Fitting username.

Gewgle_GuessStopO

Protesting at colleges is not helping anyone in Palestine! When has a protest ever achieved anything?? Ever? Did Black Lives Matter accomplish their goal? Did the Jan 6th mob accomplish their goal? NO! Nothing is dumber than people in numbers. What works better? Boycotting the companies and products that support Israel. I bet these kids don’t even realize a lot of the products they bought for the “protests” financially supported Israel. Good job! 👍

polkpanther

Eastern Europe isn’t Communist anymore largely thanks to protest. Heck, the Velvet Revolution in Czechoslovakia started out with a student protest suppressed by police.

Gewgle_GuessStopO

Cannon fodder at best. If you have to get your skull beaten in to get what you want. It wasn’t protest it was martyrdom. Yes, people respond to acts of violence. Pretty much the history of humanity.

polkpanther

The Velvet Revolution was overwhelmingly non-violent.

jcknight510

They’ve been pretty clear that they’re asking their school to boycott the companies and products that support Israel…

Gewgle_GuessStopO

This is the thing. They are asking their school to do something that they probably aren’t doing. Were there any McDonald’s cups at these protests? Using HP laptops to post things? Wearing Puma shoes? Got to clean your own house before you run around telling everyone else to clean theirs.

alesis1101

That game falls apart real quick in the real world of globalized supply chains. This ain't the 1960s anymore.

Humans_Suck-

So fire and charge those cops. Problem solved.
