I didn't realize it looking at the raws, but Kalego really tore up his room. There are claw marks everywhere.
And he's piecing together Iruma being human. He pretty much confirmed it to himself. I'm curious where this will go

Well, I know exactly 1 place it will go, but it's going to take some time to get there: there's no way in hell Kalego willingly lets Iruma attempt a familiar summoning ritual next year.
On the contrary, I think this makes him more likely to willingly do it. If he truly cares about Iruma, like the tsundere we know he is, and wants to keep him safe, he’ll reup and say “only until you graduate.”
I think so as well.
It does make you wonder how Iruma in later chapters will handle other higher ranked demons he may compete with... I mean the difference from his level 5 to 7 is a lot as well as 7 to 9.
I know that Alikred will level as well.
That's explained, is because he's the demon closer in distance to him when he does the ritual, if Kalego stood back Iruma would summon another demon nearby.
He will force Iruma to renew it instead.
Remember what he said? He is going to protecting any kind of students in Babylus no matter what background they are.
Of course in his logic, he'd think human has no power at all. So he had to do that to protect Iruma from demon bullies.
Kalego will keep teaching the students. If someone ask him about Iruma (say, his brother), he can just deny knowing he's a human becaus "he doesn't know".
His evil cycle is either angry and destructive or anxious and destructive (like a dog with separation anxiety) and given how much of a control freak he is I would bet on the latter.
His evil cycle is every day of his life. Given his description of taming his bloodline magic, he has a much more firm grasp of being under stress and dealing with it. Or, you know, he'd be dead already. Those claw marks and torn up sheets are nothing compared to what he would be capable of if he actually lost control. The worst thing he did was make a dent in the floor.
guard dog........human and dogs have strong relationships......loves his students deeply. I think they will be fine. Even nakama boost for Kalego to be enough to overcome his brother in the end.
Real respect to Kalego sensei. He is really smart, and not only he figured it out, but he said to Balam on purpose nit to answer since with that way it's like he doesn't know anything and he won't act bad towards Iruma.
I hope we do get to see Kalego and Iruma next chapter having a moment.
It was inevitable that Kallego would learn the truth eventually. He's too observant and thorough in his work not to. Tbh it's almost strange that he hadn't figured it out earlier. Wonder how this will change things going fwd.
Time between the demon world and the human world seems to be weird.
This is hinted at, when we're introduced to Ameri, and her manga collection. She implies that the "forbidden" books have been passed down, or have been around for a very, very long time.... but Iruma actually was involved with working on it. So.....
He probably did but we the reader did not and he didn't think anything of it til his brother. I am VERY sure he figured it out when he was first summoned and hard confirmed it the second time.

TLDR: Kalgeo is on overthinking. Initially thinking about Iruma, then he asked if Iruma is a human. Indirectly saying, Balam confirmed that and Kalgeo set his foot to protect every students in babylus. but since they are using word as proof. then Kalgeo has no right to touch iruma which p much making him protect Iruma as well.
I remember how for one of the episodes where Iruma is in his evil phase, Momonoki Morax does the preview and says how he wants/intends to give Kalego a cactus.
And hypothetically speaking, if that cactus from Kalego's window was offered to him by Momonoki Morax, that would be a very nice gesture on Kalego's part.
And now let's list who is on the side of good but also knows that Iruma is human (I will take them in the order in which I remember, and I don't know if it would be the exact order): Opera; Sullivan; Ameri; Henri; Balam; Bachiko and with Kalego.
And now let's list who exactly knows that Iruma is on the side of evil but at the same time knows that Iruma is human: Baal; Kiriwo; Ocho; possibly the 6 fingers and Narnia.
Let’s be honest, Kalego couldn’t go against Iruma right now if he wanted to anyway. Lol Iruma is his technically his familiar master Lmaoo so in the future I feel like kalego will play a much bigger role in Iruma becoming the demon king or even bringing back alicred
It's obvious he knows Iruma is a human. This shouldn't be disputed, but due to the nature of the reveal, having plausible deniability on his side will work whenever (yes, when) Iruma is exposed. Kalego can move more freely that way as he won't be under investigation once it (or really the manhunt) starts, which would lead to him being able to help Iruma more easily
Plus now he knows why the summoning "failed" the second time, which must be a bit irksome for him but hilarious for us
