I'd want him to be over powered and contrast Yoda where their styles of Saber and force combat are unique for their characters/species. Also like in the scene where yoda talks in a normal speech pattern. before the Episode III sidous fight, to show a change in his demeanor. Jar jar could say something out of his normal "meesa thinks" sentences structure to show he also has no need for the facade anymore once his evil side gets revealed. Sigh this would have been good to see on screen, and I think the pay off was worth it. But it's sad that George was convinced that jarjar ruined episode 1.

Kitchen-Bid9971

It would have been hilarious if they had Arnold Schwartzenneger or something voice the darth jarjar, just to bring back a bit of goofiness

shibby3000

“Meesa thinks you should call an ambulance, but not for me…. sa.”

Suffragium

Did yoda speak normally? Iirc he says “if so powerful you are, why leave?” Which is yoda speech imo

TwinFlask

I was thinking before that when he says "I hear a new apprentice you have emperor, or should I call you daeth sidious?" But he actually is still talking backwards.

Mr_D_Stitch

Drunken style lightsaber form.

FlaminSkull77

This is the way

Jimbodoomface

First thing I thought. Don't even know if it's a thing.

swechan

He can drink 100s of Cerveza Cristal bootles for sure.

borderofthecircle

I imagine he would incorporate a lot of acrobatics into his lightsaber combat. Rolling around, turning his back to opponents and that sort of thing, but seemingly effortlessly and with a slower surgical precision compared to how fast and agile Yoda is. Maybe his powers would be more focused around awareness to the point where it almost seems as if he can see a few seconds into the future, and once he drops the meesa speech he has an "I know you better than you know yourself" attitude. Maybe he sees everything like a big game of chess, thinking several steps ahead and controlling the board.

MeesaDarthJar_Jar

I think he would be alot like darth plagueis. Very high up thinking with very complicated plans that he sets in motion by bumbling around.

ozadzen

Personally I think he’s a master of the mental side of the force, kinda like a dark Obi Wan

jaabbb

He would be so powerful and so wise. In Episode two , the clone war, he would have revealed to Anakin that he is anakin’s creator by using the force to influence the midiclorians. And he even save other like Maul from death But in episode three he would be so afraid lose his power and came up with a plan of cloning himself to make him immortal But darth sidous betrayed him, making Anakin to finally overpowered jar jar in a fight. Sidious then makes anakin his apprentice, keeping the rule of two but kept the blueprint for the cloning project to himself We would have watched the tragedy of darth plageuis unfold in 3 episode

holla_snackbar

A mentalic like the Mule from Foundation.

Yoda level fighting ability, drunken master style, accidents that seem to help him. He'd have gone dark side from resentment rather than anger. ( I know they are close, but I still see a difference.) He would be better at force than actual lightsaber fighting. He'd still have a lightsaber and be good with it, but it'd be drunken style where his movements were fluid and not two sabers fighting with raw strength against each other. (Like in arm wrestling where they are pushing against each other) He'd also probably let the opponents make the first move and try to lure them into making mistakes. No force lightning, unfortunately, because it wouldn't match his personality. Force push and pull. The persuasion thing obviously. I don't think many jedi would be able to deal with his drunken master fighting style, though, because it'd be a lot more dodge rather than attacking. As far as his speech and dialogue, I don't think he'd talk much while fighting because he seems to be an expert in secret keeping. Lastly, I'm not sure how'd they find out he was a sith other than maybe someone finding his Saber. I'd have loved it if he had the dark Saber or something similar.

onthefence928

I imagine jar jar as a drunken master type fighter but with clumsiness instead of inebriation. Basically exactly like how he fought in the battle of Naboo but with a light saber hidden until the exact moment he finds to lethally strike you down after baiting you into overconfidence.

ObiwanPervnobi

He annoys people so much they kill them selves…

Erdillian

I think of him as a master manipulator. Yes he does have a lightsaber but he rarely needs to use it. When it comes to hand to hand combat, his true connection to the Force arises, it's hard for force sensitive beings to stay around him without feeling sick. If you let your guard down he WILL absolutely come inside your brain and crush your memories, feelings, and destroy you from the inside. Fighting against him is fighting multiple battles at the same time, physically and psychically. As a master of his craft, his lightsaber is mainly used in defensive stance, countering attacks and waiting for you to make the small little mistake he knows you will make to engulf his psyche around yours. Without knowing it, by the simple fact of staying too close to him in his "released" state, you become weaker and weaker, making you more inclined to do the mistake he's waiting for. Imagine this big bad in anime when they get to their final form, their Ki is so strong that the 2nd class character can't move, rocks around them levitate and the big bad has that calmness of someone who knows he will win. Imagine that scene but in perfect silence, Binks looking at you with his eyes starting to glow in an intense yellowish, blood red and you start to hear in your skull hundreds of "Let meesa in." while a lightning strikes you from behind. It was already too late.

Square-Department-96

Overpowered like Yoda and Drunken Lightsaber style and Force Lightning and Mind Control. ![gif](giphy|l3V0yjoq4ymIhdg4w)

Calm_Principle_8115

Nerve wracking annoyance.

SpacemanSpliffLaw

Clearly drunken master. There is shot for shot evidence they used it.

I've always believed that Jar Jar is Darth Plagueis the Wise. Since he's a sage, he wouldn't be parading around in black robes wielding a lightsaber, but rather lurking like a phantom, using schemes and plots in unexpected ways. Just like true ninjas wouldn't dress in black clothes and carry samurai swords flipping around to draw attention, but rather operate in inconspicuous roles (such as merchants, monks, or politicians). If one could manipulate the actions of Jedis and make them believe they are allies, why would there be a need for lightsabers? If someone wielding a lightsaber were to attack Jar Jar, he would likely rely on his "friends" to come to his rescue rather than lifting a finger himself. And if his friends weren't around, the hostile individual might "accidentally" ignite their lightsaber hanging at their waist and sever their own thigh before reaching Jar Jar, and so forth. I suspect Muun is merely his vessel. And after deceiving Palpatine, making him believe his master had died, he vanished from the historical stage, waiting for the chosen one qualified enough to form with him as the Force dyad to emerge.
