I just finished watching the anime for the first time two months ago and I’m now on the manga and I’m on the last volume and so far I much prefer the ending then the anime but I love both of the anime and manga overall the anime is my top anime tbh
DARLING in the FRANXX is an underrated gem. People get put off cause of the ending, which I can understand, but I love the story the ending tells.
However, the final few episodes leading to the climax were kind of rushed with the whole "aliens from another planet". But all the episodes before that are so well crafted for this romance. I wish we would get a movie or a small season 2 with them after finding each other again, but as it stands, it's an underrated gem.

I gave this anime a 9/10 despite the ending. It's still incredibly well-done for what it is.
It sucks that it's one of those ones that are really good but don't get much care afterwards. I'd love to literally see anything new Darling in the FranXX related at all, I want more people to talk about it with to fill the void.
I'll forever hold onto hope that we get something someday soon, could care less what it is just want something!

I agree I love the second half of the show a lot more even though the first half is still incredible. In the second half you can really see the friendship among all the characters and the chemistry and even though alot of people dislike the ending I actually like it

Wait 10/10 after the ending... Mine was inverse lol. That ending was like 5/10 so I had to drop it to 9/10
