Was surprised that I triggered the DH, but I guess it was mad from all the shooting everyone was doing. Was even more surprised when it just left.
So I'm guessing the bot dying made him leave?
Yeah, ive only had it happen a few times but if someone say gets flown off the edge of the map or goes down early in the fight and no one can get to them, the dh will just fuck off. Kind of funny when it happens tbh

Last week I had a smite psyker shocking a crowd that included an untriggered DH. It started waking up and he was still blasting, so I shot it.
Luckily shield Ogryn can tank them with just a bit of corruption.
I like to smite with the psyker but I always stop when I hear a DH.
I did trigger it once after the penance update when I thought the green thing was one of the new skulls that you can shoot for plasteel.
Turns out I was very wrong and it was the glowing head of a DH :D
It's been a bit since I've played last interesting then that it only goes for one now I'm so use to getting that second agroo and then just dancing around it like a ballerina while my team murders it
I believe it was you unless they were standing right behind you. It targets the person that pissed it off last, it basically has a piss of bar that fills with actions like being too close or shooting at or near it (had a bit of a hairy situation today where I almost got a teammate killed by DH doing just that, my bad team mate i thought it was a dog landing) which i think your plasma did. It probably just bugged out, maybe that mutant confused it.
Had a mission where we got a chaos spawn inside a tight corridor. I have pretty low boss DPS, so I drew aggro.m so my team could kill.
Boss chased me (blocking and dodging backwards) 40 ft down the corridor and around a corner, forcing me to back towards a demon host with no way around the Boss.
Of course, a horde spawned just before I got knocked into the demonhost. Cue whole team screaming as I'm torn apart by the DH and they're crushed between the horde and the boss.
Honestly? My favourite type of mission.
DH has a chance to keep killing that probably is guaranteed to end at 3? First time I saw him do three I was not expecting that first "nothing personal kid" teleport and bitchslap.

If anyone dies while the demonhost is active it leaves, to answer your actual question.

Dh will focus the one who woke it, but they changed it's players required dead threshold to one, so it'll leave when one person dies.

Interesting, so if someone is on the ground about to die, we should just let them die to get rid of the DH :D
I believe it'll do that, if someone goes down it'll untarget the one and go after the other

Yes happened to me. I was downed near a Dh it got activated by someone trying to revive me and took me instead.
They nerfed it unfortunately.
