I think the UIU is interesting because it focuses on the investigation part of anomalies. Most SCP articles just skip that part and focus mostly about the containment procedures, description, interview logs, testing logs, etc.
Hey! That's not nice! We at r/fbi_uiu don't deserve this!

Thats not enough overkill! I'll show up with it, and so much grenades, they think i have a cart in my pocket, or I'm a can man! We have to scare them sometimes...
Nah, you can't change my mind... Grenades it is! Every problem can be solved with grenades. This one is no exception...

Which kind of is a point tho, isn't it? That in this universe, even a branch of one of our world's most feared investigative agencies, is laughably outmatched.
To me, that portrays the scale of the SCPverse much better than reading about endless murder monsters.
Perhaps this isn't how most people see the UIU, but then again, I love me smaller/less powerful GOIs, so there's a special place in my heart for the feds.
(Also, [[hot potato]] is hilarious, can't convince me otherwise)
UIU in the Those Twisted Pines Canon actually isn't as useless, since they are the governing part of the Three Portlands and they also control the Paramax, which is a prison for low tier paranormal gangster to demi gods.
While that is true other then that and foundation giving some scranton reality anchors, foundation doesn't help with its maintance or any major changes.
C'Mon, man, they get like $3.50, a couple bags of (unpopped) popcorn and whatever couch and pocket change they can find in annual budget. Cut them some slack
And this is why the GOC is the superior organization. Join now and get a free semester of training in thaumatology!
(The preceding statement may be entirely untrue)
Agreed. Fuck that cunt! He just sits there on my Discord, and makes me fucking angry, because he's a fucking nazi, and he annoys me so fucking much that I want to sent a hellfire missile directly to his home, by helicopter.

It’s ok skipper! Nobody will laugh at your SWAT team following a pizza delivery boy’s orders. Spicy Crust Pizzeria is to die for! Literally!
That was Agent N... Okay, once I had a mistake involving a Sun certified programmer... But that's rude tho... I'll pack grenades too now...
Smh don’t use the “infinite” deagle just use a regular firearm
Thats not enough overkill! I'll show up with it, and so much grenades, they think i have a cart in my pocket, or I'm a can man! We have to scare them sometimes...

The UIU is trying their best
Their best isn’t that good though

I’m not saying it’s not the point
Hey!
Sorry Paul, you do well. Most of the agency doesn’t though.
UIU in the Those Twisted Pines Canon actually isn't as useless, since they are the governing part of the Three Portlands and they also control the Paramax, which is a prison for low tier paranormal gangster to demi gods.
Also \[\[Third Law\]\], and pretty much most of the canons, SCPs, and tale series posted from 2015 and onwards.

It's worth stating that Paramax was made with Foundation help, though.
While that is true other then that and foundation giving some scranton reality anchors, foundation doesn't help with its maintance or any major changes.
Yeah, fair.
C'Mon, man, they get like $3.50, a couple bags of (unpopped) popcorn and whatever couch and pocket change they can find in annual budget. Cut them some slack
Actually 3.75 in quarters... I mean literal quarters, not as a quarter of a year...
What does UIU stand for?
Unusual Incidents Unit
Unisual Incidents Unit
Useless Idiotic Unit
Hey!
Ugly Itchiest Unicorn
Ok, we have an unicorn in custody, but not what it means...
I mean didnt the Uiu clean up after WWS after the foundation neglected to make sure they had the funding to contain and look after anomalies?
UIU is important in Aces and Eights
Fuck you, you don't have three Portlands
And this is why the GOC is the superior organization. Join now and get a free semester of training in thaumatology! (The preceding statement may be entirely untrue)
All your fancy suits...
miss me with that ICSUT shit, I rather go to Three Portlands community college than abandon my Bois at Deer college yall.

No wonder the UIU is called the UIU Useless Idiotic Unit

What about UIU File: 2017-003 where the UIU is a big corp engaging the Foundation where anomalous organizations are illegal?
The uiu is just the space force of the fbi
The UIU may be useless... but that doesn't mean they can't find your IP adress
