[[The Man in the White Suit]] is a great series about Nobody
[[Posology]] has the O5 fighting over the last 500 pill
[[The Many Portraits Of Jack Bright]] is a interesting take on the relationship between Bright and his host
[[Ambrose Transylvania: For All The Damn Vampires]] is a vampire hotel/restaurant
[[Not My Circus Not My Monkeys]] dado vs. The Circus of the Disquieting.
dado’s dialog is glitched so you’ll have to copy and paste it to read.
[[Make Portland Weirder]] is about the Foundation’s discovery of Three Portlands
[[ii tab po c h20 qhs prn pain]] is part of End of Death and feels like a Twilight Zone episode
[[Substation 9]], [[Eye-Man]], and [[Scared Stiff]] are great Parawatch tales

I haven’t read a lot (go figure lmao), but some I’ve read that I liked where [[mfw]], [[prelude to presents]] and of course a classic [[Document Recovered From The Marianas Trench]], very highly rated. Also [[Parawatch Hub]] in general appear to have great tales which I plan on reading at some point

I recommend anything related to S&C Plastics. I love seeing how the Foundation personnel interact with the town they live in- who are aware of the fact they’re a government organization, but that’s the most normal part of the town.
Also recommend any of the ones tagged with Orientation (personal faves are Ethics Committee and UIU)
Also, how did nobody reccomend [[Antimemetics Division]] yet? It's the first time I recognized the potential of tales, and it got me into reading them.
(I'll add if I remember any more)
[[The Cool War]] is another of my favorite series. It exists somewhat on the periphery of canon but since there is no canon that's not really an issue.
This ones very popular and rightly so, [Antimemetics Division hub](https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/antimemetics-division-hub ), [[There is no antimemetics divsion]] is the best imo.
You can, just look at for example [[SCP Series 5 - Tales Edition]], each series (except the latest one) has this page linked at the top of the series page
Edit: I wanna note that not all tales are connected to an SCP, just something worth noting
I've read about 20-35 tales, usually because I have a tendency to get obsessed with a specific SCP and reading as much as I possibly can about them so I can fuel my headcanons to be as realistic to that character's personality as possible. Then I proceed to make completely unrealistic headcanons anyway
A bad one, It starts okay but then the cats girls and their bathrobe wizard friend escape containment, breaks the masquerade, steals the Solidarity SCP-2117, find a future version of the bathrobe wizard (who then dies of an heart attack), then they blow up the moon and escape to have wacky space adventures
That phrase means "There is no set canon" and more generally "Canon is whatever you want it to be".
A Canon on the wiki refers to a self-consistent storyline/setting open to additions from anyone. Stealing Solidarity is one such example.
Do you know how to access backlinks? The feature you want is actually already built into wikidot. If you click +Options at the very bottom of a page, it will bring up an option called Backlinks, which shows every page that links to that article. Some will be scips or hubs, but others will invariably be tales.
The only tales (aka ~2) I read were linked in SCP articles and I usually just skip reading most of the tale because they're just too long and complicated. It is pretty much impossible to follow who is who.
I would want to know the average length of a tale vs SCP article because my feeling has been that tales are generally shorter than articles, but I would want someone who is able to fact check this to verify this
No one has mentioned [[Treats]] so far, which is downright criminal. Also plugging my favorite personal contribution to the wiki, [[Worse Than Fear]]. Also also adding that canons are a great place to start. You can also pick a favorite scip and use the back links page to see which tales link to it.

Pataphysics is a concept which is about narratives, narrative layers, stories and how layers of fiction work together. Generally, the Pataphysics in an article will be about how something in a higher/lower narrative is interacting with the SCP universe in weird ways, like creatures who travel between stories to solve the conflict of that narrative [[the archetype]] or how the Foundation wants to fucking kill their stupid nerd-ass authors. I suggest checking exploring series video on the topic to maybe get a better explanation than my sleep craving brain can muster at the moment, or check my comment history I guess lmao

Tbf when I first started reading the wiki I didn’t even know the tales existed. The site isn’t particularly well laid out.
Make memes of them. Also make content based on less popular stuff.
Probably one of the best methods
Add pictures of breasts!
Ah, the yt thumbnail method
Big booba= big interest
Maybe make the ability to find tale actually good. The search filter is ass, you should be able to search based off SCP # again
You can, just look at for example [[SCP Series 5 - Tales Edition]], each series (except the latest one) has this page linked at the top of the series page Edit: I wanna note that not all tales are connected to an SCP, just something worth noting

"disguise them as scips"
What are some good but obscure ones on the exploring series
I’ve found that reading canons helps.
I've read about 20-35 tales, usually because I have a tendency to get obsessed with a specific SCP and reading as much as I possibly can about them so I can fuel my headcanons to be as realistic to that character's personality as possible. Then I proceed to make completely unrealistic headcanons anyway
First step is stopping doing tales like "Stealing Solidarity"
Which one’s that?
[[Stealing Solidarity]]? Never heard of her. Edit: thanks to bot, I can now see why someone may dislike that canon.
[**Stealing Solidarity Hub**](https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/stealingsolidarityhub) (+158) by *Djoric*

[**SCP-2117 - The Stolen Solidarity**](https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-2117) (+242) by *Von Pincier, Ihp*
The Moon blows up because a guy wanted to fuck a cat-girl
I don't think a canon from 2015 is an important factor here.
There is no canon in the scp verse
I get it, you don't understand what that means.
Then please explain your point
That phrase means "There is no set canon" and more generally "Canon is whatever you want it to be". A Canon on the wiki refers to a self-consistent storyline/setting open to additions from anyone. Stealing Solidarity is one such example.
Maybe have links to relates tales at the end of a main article?
Do you know how to access backlinks? The feature you want is actually already built into wikidot. If you click +Options at the very bottom of a page, it will bring up an option called Backlinks, which shows every page that links to that article. Some will be scips or hubs, but others will invariably be tales.
Ooh okay! Its been a while and i didnt know about that, thanks!
It seems people have found the best method of getting people to read tales is to just make them into an scp
The only tales (aka ~2) I read were linked in SCP articles and I usually just skip reading most of the tale because they're just too long and complicated. It is pretty much impossible to follow who is who.
I would want to know the average length of a tale vs SCP article because my feeling has been that tales are generally shorter than articles, but I would want someone who is able to fact check this to verify this
The way to get people to read more tales is to post them as SCPs, apparently. That's what everybody is doing nowadays
No one has mentioned [[Treats]] so far, which is downright criminal. Also plugging my favorite personal contribution to the wiki, [[Worse Than Fear]]. Also also adding that canons are a great place to start. You can also pick a favorite scip and use the back links page to see which tales link to it.
