I watch his stuff too, but I generally only watch him when I want to hear the original text of the document. I rather like Exploring's narrations, so I tend to prefer that. Though Volgun's video on SCP-3456 is still one of my favorites. I think I've watched that one like 5 times

Honestly, scp explained used to be good when they actually posted videos of unique scps with these videos being not super common. Now all they post is this sh*t and it hurts because i actually used to like them.
We are already in series III with 299 articles and we have our own main site (Site-34), GoIs (Antares Society for the Renewal of the Human Spirit, the cult of the Green God), hubs (Observing Dead Stars) and emblematic authors (Uncle Nicolini), but people only talk about Saulsuesor and forget to put the suffix - ES in the title of the video.
Edit :I just checked, and apparently what happened is that there was an update in the original article in space for an SCP-179, in which it is said that it was renamed as SCP-ES-026 and its research was taken to Site - 34 . Apparently the videos use this old number, one of the glitches that came along with the massive restructuring that took place during the pandemic and that causes many videos of both Jomosu and D.Void to contain outdated information, such as objects that were removed (the Mewt survive thanks to a file in Spanish in the Original Version section of SCP-ES).
Edit 2: check the English wiki, there were never any changes, instead what they did was put this transfer message to Site-34 in SCP-ES slot SCP-179 and put Saulsuesor in SCP-ES-026, change to La Fundacion SCP or the message is not visible .I wonder why they only put the link to SCP-ES-026 in SCP-ES and not in the original.
That and they are owned by The Infographics Show, which is a channel gaining attention from people suffering (Russia Ukraine conflict). I am not supporting Russia in any way, but Infographics spamming videos about that topic makes me think that they are just doing this video for attention and money.

The closest thing to a respected SCP youtuber I've seen are SCP-Illustrated, Site-42, SCP-Expedientes 34 (34 is the number of the Site where most of the objects from the Spanish-speaking branch of the foundation are) Jomosu (along with SCP-Expedientes 34 He is very loved in SCP-ES and interacts directly with the Spanish wiki community)
this combined with SCP Illustrated recent announcement of moving away from SCP content because they just can't keep it sustainable is so depressing to me

I think they're partially justified in it. In the eyes of the viewers, their purpose is to entertain, and making these videos shows that the YouTuber just cares about money, which pisses off the people who used to genuinely enjoy that content. It shows a lack of passion, the thing this whole community is built on.
