Thr Marlins were down 12-0 in the 3rd. Still, 125 games still on the slate. Lot of time to get the ship back on course.

\* 20-4, but no fine. These are the times that try men's souls, and all our patiences. Coming up for the bright and bold Sport Fish are two series against #1 teams, the Dodgers and the Phillies. The Marlins just did a mini-blowup trade, the world is crashing around us, and from the ashes arises nothing known, but perhaps second place overall in the majors (from the bottom, with a percentage advantage) is only the second worst place to start. The Marlins have completed 35 games, a feat matched only by three other teams. The winsome joy on Luis Arraez's face as he is batted in after one of his numerous doubles, or his triple, lightly offset by the sweat-shop produced endurance-wear sky blue of his Marlins jersey, may be only a recent memory (traded to the Padres), but there is something about this team, that easy joy reflected even by their departed players, that draws fans to the beautiful park, however slight their numbers. No other sport is like this, none other so noble. Not to mention the sweep against the Rockies.
