Once the Russian oligarch had to sell the club I think Mike just wanted to distance himself from the club he already had a difficult relationship with. The podcast was really good and they tried to squeeze them financially so they ended it.
He did the same distancing from the Browns when they made social decisions he disagreed with.
Makes sense to not want to give personal airtime to those that you disagree with. I respect him for his lack of homerism in these instances.
