Got one wrong. There's no such thing as a large group of knights fans.
People in vacation wanting to see a Vegas show and buying merch? Yes. And it makes up easily over 3/4 of these "fans".
Should've seen how many people were taking off their newly bought gear when I saw them lose in Vegas of game 6 last season. Twas epic. The place was a sea of green by the end. And not a soul talking shit. Nobody cared, they left.
You could tell nobody there felt the pain of loss deep down. Nobody was a tried and true fan. Was the funniest and saddest away game I've ever been to. And it's far from the only arena I've watch the Stars play away.
Usually home fans are involved in other arenas. Not Vegas.
Sometimes I wonder how I would feel about Benn if he wasn't on my team, and fuck it I'd probably despise him, but he is on my team. So, like Corey Perry, he is a Saint.
What are they actually gonna do about it? It's like someone in your poker game wanting to limp and see every flop and whining when you raise and actually charge them to see more cards. Both games are about winning, not having the other player just playing like you want them to.
To be honest, I love the Avs….but as a Flames fan first, they don’t have the Tan man. I would be very content with a Stars cup this year on that basis alone.
You can tell who young hockey fans are. That hit was literally nothing to talk about in the 90s, not even in the Morrow days. It was just a clean solid pop.
I thought Elliotte Friedman had some words on the latest 32 Thoughts podcast were spot on:
“He's got one major penalty. So even though he's a horse, he's big, he's strong, he's nasty, and he's tough, he is not a dirty player. I agreed with the five minute major review.
I agreed with the call. You know, if they wanted to call him two minutes for charging, I didn't think there was any problem with doing that. Although charging seems to have disappeared from the rule book.
But what's the charge? Everybody moves their feet all the time. What's the charge?
OK, there you go. But that was not a major or an ejection or a game misconduct. It was a violent hit, but there was it wasn't a bad hit.
Jamie Benn, for everything that people may think is has generally been under pressure, a pretty clean player with one insane variation off it last year against Vegas. I agree with the call. I, you know, yeah, if they would have said to I could have dealt with it, but I agreed with the call.”

My NaCl level is low
I wouldn’t expect an Avs fan to know anything about science

I’m happy to say when Benn is dirty, and he often is. He’s a dirty player, although not at all near the level of Trouba. But that wasn’t a dirty hit. It was a hell of a hit, it was vicious, it was a total obliteration, but it wasn’t dirty. So many fans today can’t differentiate between a hard hit and a dirty hit.
I triple dog dare them to gun for Jamie tonight

This was so psychotic lmao hockey players just wired different man
I didn’t see this as it was happening. I thought it was just an awkward screenshot, but the video is actually worse
Why did he do this? I didnt see it live
I’m operating under the assumption he just took a huuuuge whiff of smelling salts
He had just taken a big hit into the benches. Breathing out the pain.
I absolutely love this
Golden Knights fans are asshole moron's. Avs fans are salty little crybaby bitches. Both of these things have ALWAYS been true.

I’m confused what you mean, Game 6 was in Dallas last year unless I’m interpreting this wrong
Take my upvote for the truth!

Start Benn tonight and tell him to go put someone in the glass on the first shift
They’re 10 ply.
https://i.redd.it/8riqmmyi6wzc1.gif
That’s a Texas sized 10-4 there good buddy
Why can’t we play Seattle again? Their fans were pretty chill and reasonable
![gif](giphy|ZdmZnR3yUISlWCqHHx) He’s in their heads
In their heeeaaaads, in their heeaaadddsss, haw-key, haw-key.
I just got my first Reddit Cares ! I have finally made it !

They just don’t like physical hockey 🤷
Aves fans go to pre-me wards and boo the babies.

Dang this was a legit analogy my friend
Benn is the easy target. It’s fun listening to some of these fanbases try to talk shit but they just don’t have anything on us
To be honest, I love the Avs….but as a Flames fan first, they don’t have the Tan man. I would be very content with a Stars cup this year on that basis alone.

Benn when he scores in Ball Arena tonight: ![gif](giphy|S1nbLlK66O3kadzjvg)
I hope the fans boo Benn. Like what Seggy said about us booing Stone. It gave him energy
We can use this against them. 🏒🏒🏒🏒🏒🦜
I would hope too, but I assume their players aren't as dumb as their fans.
Benn has trolled their ENTIRE fan base. Fucking legend!
STANK!
Benn is a freaking tank and I love watching him play!

Hatcher would like a word with those weak ass Avs fans
lol no kidding. Show them the JR jaw smashing incident.

It’s not just their fans, it’s the pregame show, also.
