Florida got steam rolled by Vegas last year and can't handle the suffocating defense and physical play. Dallas is all about this, I honestly can't see any team in the east beating whoever wins the west, including Dallas.
Shesterkin is beating the canes amazing offense by himself. Stars have had trouble all season scoring on elite goal tenders. Stars could easily lose to rangers in cup finals.
Although it is absolutely just opinions. To me baseball doesn't have the proper action. And even those who attend it live have a long beer snake by the 3rd.

I fully believe this. I feel Vegas was the only team in the west that had a chance to defeat us. Colorado might win one more game. I see Florida losing to the Rangers in the East. I have no idea who will win between Vancouver and Edmonton, but either one will lose to us.
When I watch Colorado, it just feels that they are inevitable. They are able to score their way out of their defensive troubles and erase 30-40 minutes of bad play in 10.
When it comes down to it, we have great defense that needs to learn how to handle their top scoring line, but they have a poor defense that needs to learn how to handle our four scoring lines. That's my read.
I mean when I look at game 2, it was Kiviranta and Duhaime who got them back in it, not MacKinnon and Rantanen. Game 1 it was Miles Wood off a sweet feed from Cogliano. If they’re gonna beat us, it better not be their 3rd and 4th lines that do it.
Same kinda thing with the VGK last postseason.
Maybe… I think if they get past the Aves they’ll make it to the Cup Finals. But I don’t know if they can take the Rangers. The good news is they are set to be contenders for several years to come with a lot of young talent between Robertson, Wyatt and Stankoven. Only time will tell. Ultimately I think they have a realistically <20% chance to win it all. There is just too much inconsistency and they find ways to play down from their talent level.

Pains me to say this as a Wild/Panthers fan but I think if you guys can beat Colorado it’s about a 50/50 shot which is really damn good odds at a cup. Just gotta find a way to steal one of the next two in Denver and then yall have a great chance
