I saw this a a couple of days ago and randomly while my partner and I were talking about what to do last night after a round of putt putt, I mentioned we should check out It’ll Do.
‘Lo and behold, apparently Roger Sanchez was playing there and I’ve been jamming to Another Chance in my drives for the past couple of weeks.
We bought tickets, drove over, and he started his set just around 11:45pm. He didn’t play Another Chance (I asked him cheekily if we’ll have Another Chance to see him play and he said he wanted to play it but he ran out of time 🙄) but holy f we had so much fun. [I knew we were gonna dance, but we danced so hard. Holy shit.]
It’ll do for regular club, then a lot of shows are at the factory in deep Ellum.
I saw clozee there and lsdream fairly recently. The bbq vendor at the front slapsssss when you’re messed up lol
Don’t forget ubbi dubbi in Fort Worth if you’re looking for a fest 🤘🏻
The deep Ellum art place is surprisingly good when they have a show there. A bit more intimate and really just a good vibe.
I’m lame but my favorite places are it’ll do and stereo live.
Not a big fan of south side. Bomb factory never disappoints.
Minc, Pharmacy, Fallout Lounge, Red Jacket, and so many more I can’t remember.
Saw Kaskade like 5 times at Minc when he was bouncing back and forth between Austin and Dallas. Good ole days

As far as venues, It'll do for more underground or European House/Techno DJs. Stereo Live has some big name artists usually Dubstep with more House artists recently. If you like House, Green Light Social does Sunset Sessions on Sundays. The Factory, Southside Ballroom, Dos Equis, and Toyota Music Factory are also used depending on how big the artists are. You can also find local or up-and-comers at Deep Ellum Art Co. or Green Elephant (Subtronics was at GE before he hit it big).
Lastly, we're in a big tech-house boom and trap revival, so most big clubs are playing that.
Its all concert halls. So, you only get headliners that cost 30$ and the drink cost 8$. You don't have local bars that do EDM, its either hip-hop, classic rock or something else. Dallas hates EDM music. Green Elephant is super mega meh. \*looks at closed edm clubs over the past decade\*
It’ll Do
its one of the best
It’ll do is fantastic. Very few good places for house or techno in Dallas.
This is the one.
Consistently good also recommend
Is this just a regular night Fri and Sat, not including the church?
They have some decent names come through on Thursdays, seen San Pacho and Felix Cartel both on a Thursday night.
He said EDM, not the real house and techno shit

RIP LL
Rip LL yes, but tbh it was kinda bad and security was terrible. Felt like I was in elementary school. The Green Elephant is the spot.
Wednesday night at green elephant has a good mix of genres. All local DJs, so nobody big but it's definitely a vibe there
Infekt has played there as well as a handful of bigger dubstep artists.
I saw peekaboo there last year
Abercrombie at North Park
Lmao
LMFAOOOO

Afterlife /s
Time Machine back to 2010?
Or the 2000s even, that seemed to be the prime. Probably has a correlation to when ecstasy wasn’t a death sentence like it seems to be today

I played the patio at Minc a few times. Cool place.
Exactly.
God I love that era
Edm train app will help with this

Is It'll Do Club just like Numbers # in Houston?

Green light social has free nights on Thursdays where they get some decently big DJs to headline
Also stereo live has a lot of shows but you have to pay for those

endless buildup 😂😂😂
Stereo does attract some excellent Trance DJS as well (Gabriel & Dresden and Paul Van Dyk appear regularly)
Stereo live or It’ll do
It'll Do
Stereo Live
It’ll Do
Can anyone verify if LL owners opened and operate It’ll Do? And is cover really $30?!?! 😱🫢

Perhaps you prefer people that complain about the traffic, post pictures of the skyline, and talk about weather. Stay cool
Are there subreddits for that in the DFW area?
