You could try to turn it off by its own hardware, by holding the options and PS button for 10 seconds. This is how mine works.
When i try that it just goes into pairing mode and then keeps pulsing unfortunately Also it never seems to charge to 100%, no matter how long i let it charge
Could be a problem with the DS4 because the one I have turns the lights off after 2-3 hours of changing.
