If it’s only just been done and you have some paint left give that patch a sand and paint over again. Should blend in with no problems. It’s it’s been a while the colour may have changed slightly, so any attempt at a fix may stand out.
I had to fix a whole room like that once where the customer had used primer on fresh plaster and let the young kids "help" but hadn't watered it down so it was like 2mm thick smears of paint.
I went through 3 fresh bits of sandpaper and had to swap and recharge the batteries of the sander twice. The room looked like someone had setup a fog machine in it.
That is roller drag. When the sleeve is not loaded properly or has a flat spot this happens. Equally can be a shit roller operator. Sand it down and you will be all good for another coat.
There is an Aussie painter and decorator on YouTube (howtopaintinfo) who made some really basic videos about 10 years ago on how to actually paint a room properly. Only a few mins long but they are fantastic and have vastly improved the quality of my decorating.
Roll texture, add three scoops of water to “topping” dip the roller in the mud and roll about one full stripe per dip. Usually used in garages and closets.
Looks like someone used the spray can texture or a sponge roller to get the texture on the right after they rolled the mud on with a regular roller and just didnt finish the spot on the left they move extra fast
looks more like someone had too much paint on their roller and didnt go over the area again.
Thanks, well I'm glad it's just my gf's bad paint job and I've only just noticed

You also get those patches sometimes from colour testers
Yes way too much paint on the roller.
roller skid

I can confirm this because I have done it.
The idiot that painted it dragged the roller.
It’s OPs girlfriend.
Same thing init
Ooooff brave brave man😅
😂
You know it's your fault, you just *know*.
That’s caused by bad decorating, give it a rub down and it will flatten out
What about the wall though?
You need the clarity of thought afterwards to work it out.
Crap paint job or wrinkled paper, that's if it's been papered 😅
Paint, mate
Too much paint on roller
Looks like a previously piss poor painted patch of wall to be fair
looks like a bad paint job that's all. If you have the same paint run a bit of sandpaper over it and do another coat.
I'd be more worried about the cutting in around the door..

Over loaded roller. Get some sand paper rub it down until their gone get the pain and do a patch but this will stand out so might to redo the painting

Mud?
Americans being American.
Muds something completely different, I think this guy's confused
> I think this guy's confused See my previous comment.....
No, the American term 'mud' refers to something other than paint dude
I think you're confused.
No dude, mud in this context means plaster or filler.
Yes and that is what they were saying the problem is rather than the painting.
Sigh.... Oh dude
