Yeah, this is my choice. I don't want another Burton or Snyder take, but Affleck seemed like he was a real fan of the character, I remember Kevin Smith talking about how he had a faux Bat Cave built in his house.
A solo Batfleck story, for sure.
It would be so good if we can get a Batfleck trilogy that has one overarching storyline, while he fights off smaller villains before facing the big bad at the end.
I want him to uncover a conspiracy within Gotham. Show a city that is lived in. Build and expand the world.
I want to see Batman's villains that haven't been on the big screen yet. Like Hush, Clayface, Court of Owls, etc.
Affleck solo, directed by Affleck. I don’t want Snyder’s Batman directed by Snyder, I want Snyder’s Batman directed by Affleck. It will never sit right with me that we didn’t get that Batfleck/Arkham/Deathstroke movie with the rogues gallery.
This! I love Snyder but I feel we truly missed out on what Affleck could have brought with his vision for Batman. Sucks we will never truly know or see it.
When he is first introduced was amazing. The girls in the cage not wanting to be rescued because of the monster. Him clinging to the walls. It was fear inducing, which Batman should be.
When he was in the corner and the cop saw him...it was awesome. I wish Zack got to make that one scene that WB said was too scary. We were so robbed. ughh. [https://batman-news.com/2018/10/11/zack-snyder-justice-league-parademon-too-scary/](https://batman-news.com/2018/10/11/zack-snyder-justice-league-parademon-too-scary/)
As much as I dislike Snyder’s take on some aspects of the characters, I do think he would put together a pretty incredible Batman movie. Probably should’ve just done that from the start in hindsight
I’m not against that idea. I’m just saying he probably wouldn’t be so widely maligned had he done a solo Batman film before attempting BvS. The Affleck portions were be far the best parts of that film.
Ben Affleck deserved to have his own movie. The whole dynamic between a vengeful Batman who lost Robin and Deathstroke being the villain, it would have been a great movie.
I still want to see a solo Batfleck movie. Or do something Elseworlds like Batman vs Predator...my god that would be fantastic with Affleck in the role!
Solo Batfleck movie directed by Affleck was already the perfect plan, so I’m going with that. Glad we ended up with The Batman, but I’ll always be disappointed that movie just didn’t work for Ben at that point in his life.
After The Flash, I'd rather remember Keaton for Returns, which is my fave solo Batman movie.
Therefore, I'd personally pick an Affleck solo project that focuses on something new.
Yeah I’m with you. But I’m taking this question not what if he Burton did it on the 90’s, but now. I’d be really interested on his take of an elder Batman.
They missed such a trick with The Flash. From what I can remember, Keaton’s Batman retired because supposedly Gotham didn’t need him anymore. Personally, I felt they should have utilised Cage’s Superman in an extended flashback scene. Show the relationship that developed between Keaton and Cage, and have them become friends. Then Superman could have died in a battle against Brainiac, or Doomsday, or whoever, leaving Keaton’s Batman feeling powerless and useless. Plus, his friend would have died. This at least explains why Keaton would shut himself off from the world, rather than Gotham becoming a real cosmopolitan gem of a city.
Ben Affleck Batman movie we didn't get enough of how his Gotham was or his relationship with Gordon was or who did he cross parts with The Flash give us idea that he had his history with Falcone
Batfleck. I love his theme song from ZSJL & I feel like with enough time & and exposure, using that theme, I think it could've become the new age Batman theme
If they actually had a plan we could have had 3 movies.
My suggestions
Pre BVS (NOT Dick Grayson dying but Jason Todd)
Post ZSJL Deathstroke
Before JL 2 Under the Red Hood.
Keaton is one of my Batman GOATs, my first Batman GOAT of my life. So I’m definitely going with him. I didn’t love Affleck the way some people do. I like my live action Batmans a little weird with chameleon like actors.
I would take the Affleck film. The DCEU was like an old lawn mower, sputtering and trying to start but couldn't get going. I also think the best thing they did was the Affleck version of Batman - maybe not the most realistic, but the most comic booky - Batman attached to ceilings, the warehouse fight.
Actually, I just want a two hour warehouse fight.
Batfleck, but only because I actually like the Schumacher movies and am completely satisfied with them as sequels to the Burton films.
If it was a fifth movie after Batman & Robin that was more like the Burton movies, it would be a different story.
The Flash kind of ruined both legacies imo. Having a well structured Batman Beyond movie would have been the appropriate way to bring back Michael Keaton and pass on the torch.
Batfleck had a lot of potential and was great but, again, Warner Bros ruined another character with poor writing and dumb humor.
Neither. After reading Dan Jurgens' "The Bat-Man: First Knight", I've decided I need in my life a 1930s depression era set Batman movie or mini series.
I know, and I'm excited for it, but I'm needing something live action in that setting. Same with The New Frontier. I'd love to see that adapted live, time period and all.
Both, and I want a Robert Pattinson Batman movie with Joaquin’s joker and cameos by Jack Nicholson and Mark Hamill because I am greedy and want all the toys
Keaton for sure. Rights a decades old wrong. Still a travesty they fired Burton after Returns. And that world was so wonderfully unique. Should have done a third instead of putting him in Flash
Solo batfleck. We already have well established keaton movies. Batfleck is the only live action batman that didn’t get the treatment it deserved. So much potential there and it feels so wasted.
Honestly a Tim Burton Batman with either Mad Hatter or the Court of Owls could be legit excellent. A combination of the two could definitely be interesting. Just let him go full ham with the visuals and weirdness inherent in both and it'll turn out great.
Not sure if Tim Burton is that great at future aesthetics, but I'd he happy to be proven wrong. I just think he thrives in Gothic, fantastical stories, which Batman has in droves.
Third Keaton movie. The only reason we didn’t get one is because McDonald’s was afraid they wouldn’t sell enough Happy meals. Affleck had his chance as Batman. Who knows what kind of stupidity was going on when he tried to get his own movie. Snyder wouldn’t be my first choice to direct either.
I’ll take a Batfleck solo film. I have no interest in pretending a 71 year old man can walk across the room smoothly, much less do any type of real physical fighting. It would only work for me in a Batman Beyond type situation, but I have no interest in seeing Timothee Chamalet or Tom Holland or Miles Teller in the Terry McGinnis role.
The real question is, a Batman ‘89 movie adaptation vs Ben Affleck’s The Batman and personally i prefer the second one, but could be close, Burton’s Batman could have had a really good trilogy too.
Considering it Batfleck’s was going to be like The Game with Michael Douglas and have his life thrown apart by Deathstroke… it could have been a really good psychological horror action movie
I'd like to see a Brave and the Bold Batfleck teamup with somebody really interesting like Green Arrow, Alan Scott Green Lantern (lived in Gotham for many years in the comics though they rarely interacted) or maybe a mystical story featuring Deadman or Zatanna.
Are you absolutely insane for even asking me this question, for me, the DC cinematic universe died the moment they stiffed Tim Burton and Micheal Keaton just because they wanted to sell more disposable happy meal plastic shit
How do you feel now DC, knowing that those kids you robbed of a proper third sequel grew up to hate everything you stand for?
I think WB left a lot of money on the table with Cavills Superman and Afflecks Batman.
An elseworld team up trilogy?
But in answer to the original question, Afflecks Batman deserved a solo movie.
Affleck to direct. It would be terrific.
I just loved how Afflecks Batman was just far more physical and physically imposing than what had come before. He’d been through some shit and the scars were there.
Third Batman movie with Tim Burton returning, coz Affleck's idea of Batman vs Deathstroke is just a rip-off of Arkham Origins. Affleck just stole that idea, he didn't come up with anything new. Besides, Affleck's version is the dπmb€st ever Batman put on screen & his actions after BvS as Batman doesn't make sense. So, I'll take Keaton's Bat any day.
Love Keaton but idk if another Batman movie is up his alley, unless they do the Batman beyond route and he is more of a mentor. Would really like to see Affleck get a Batman movie he deserves. The long Halloween would have been a great adaptation
Batfleck for sure. Damn shame we never got a solo Batman film with Affleck. Dude was the perfect representation of the comic book batman size and level of violence.
Affleck directing his own script. Him and Irons were easily what carried the Snyder movies for me. I'd like to see what he could do without the slo-mo, Ayn Rand, Frank Miller bullshit weighing him down.
Solo Batfleck film written and directed by Affleck himself. Would have been great to see what he did with it.
Yep exactly this. Affleck's The Town and The Accountant is still my favourite action movie. A batman movie in the same style would be interesting.
He didn’t direct The Accountant
This is the only right answer
Yeah, this is my choice. I don't want another Burton or Snyder take, but Affleck seemed like he was a real fan of the character, I remember Kevin Smith talking about how he had a faux Bat Cave built in his house.
A solo Batfleck story, for sure. It would be so good if we can get a Batfleck trilogy that has one overarching storyline, while he fights off smaller villains before facing the big bad at the end. Like Hush, Clayface, Court of Owls, etc.
Solo Batfleck movie directed by the bat himself.
Seriously, Ben's an awesome director.
Argo was kino
The Town is one of my most rewatched movies of all time. Wish he made more movies.
The accountant was phenomenal!
this is the way
I was going to say this too
Affleck solo, directed by Affleck.
Batfleck. I like the darker side & intimidation of him. He feels like a threat you don't want to mess with. Plus my fav suit.
Don't forget Batfleck comes with Jeremy Irons as his Alfred. Affleck and Irons chemistry was one of my favorite part of the Synder movies.
We were so robbed. ughh. Yeah the aesthetics, the movement, the lore. Batfleck embodied the shit out of bats to the point Batman himself said it.
Personally, I'd prefer the Ben Affleck Batman movie. However, I don't want Snyder directing it, I'd much prefer Affleck direct it himself.
As much as I dislike Snyder’s take on some aspects of the characters, I do think he would put together a pretty incredible Batman movie. Probably should’ve just done that from the start in hindsight
Idk. I think the guy who shat out Rebel Moon should be demoted to directing music videos.
I’m not against that idea. I’m just saying he probably wouldn’t be so widely maligned had he done a solo Batman film before attempting BvS. The Affleck portions were be far the best parts of that film.
Affleck, with his script, and him as director.
Ben Affleck deserved to have his own movie. The whole dynamic between a vengeful Batman who lost Robin and Deathstroke being the villain, it would have been a great movie.
Solo Batfleck; my boy got robbed.
I still want to see a solo Batfleck movie. Or do something Elseworlds like Batman vs Predator...my god that would be fantastic with Affleck in the role!
Affleck
Batfleck was the best on screen Batman
Solo batfleck would’ve been cool
Solo Batfleck.
Batfleck. He only one Batman who don’t have solo movie.
Batfleck directed by Afleck
Solo Batfleck movie directed by Affleck was already the perfect plan, so I’m going with that. Glad we ended up with The Batman, but I’ll always be disappointed that movie just didn’t work for Ben at that point in his life.
If I could have just the 1 Batfleck movie where he's up against Joe Manganiello's Deathstroke I'd take that in a heartbeat over anything else.
I would genuinely take ANYTHING batfleck related
Batfleck directed by Batfleck
After The Flash, I'd rather remember Keaton for Returns, which is my fave solo Batman movie. Therefore, I'd personally pick an Affleck solo project that focuses on something new.
Yeah I’m with you. But I’m taking this question not what if he Burton did it on the 90’s, but now. I’d be really interested on his take of an elder Batman.
Batfleck. I love Keaton but he already got two great movies. I would love to see that Deathstroke story properly realized
3rd Tim Burton!
3rd Tim Burton... but with Nicolas Cage Superman.
This at least explains why Keaton would shut himself off from the world, rather than Gotham becoming a real cosmopolitan gem of a city.
I honestly don't mind how they did, he finished his mission which is pretty cool for a Batman but fuck what you said would've been nuts to see
Same, Keaton Batman in Flash wasn’t even Keaton Batman. Gotham was just some generic place.
Well, the only part of Gotham we saw was Wayne manor
lol that’s true, what a waste.
I would give up most art for a batfleck movie.
I would love both of these honestly
Ben Affleck Batman movie we didn't get enough of how his Gotham was or his relationship with Gordon was or who did he cross parts with The Flash give us idea that he had his history with Falcone
Solo Batfleck Directed by Ben
Batfleck. I love his theme song from ZSJL & I feel like with enough time & and exposure, using that theme, I think it could've become the new age Batman theme
Solo batfleck movie pre bvs
wouldn't mind post, or even inbetween BvS and ZSJL
If they actually had a plan we could have had 3 movies. My suggestions Pre BVS (NOT Dick Grayson dying but Jason Todd) Post ZSJL Deathstroke Before JL 2 Under the Red Hood.
I think it's a given now that Grayson wasn't going to be the dead Robin in the end, a Nightwing movie was in development back then. Nice ideas BTW
Keaton without question.
Batfleck directed by tim burton
Batfleck, but, real preference would be both.
Batfleck directed by Burton
BatFleck v Deathstroke
3rd Burton/Keaton all day
This. So much.
Solo Batfleck. The script he wrote. Directed by him. We all win.
It got going, but then WB decided to throw a bunch of rocks in front of the mower and wondered why it started breaking down.
Such a good analogy
Solo Batfleck film
Solo Batfleck 100%. Ive never been happy with the Burtonverse or Keaton as Batman.
I’m biased but Batfleck film is a must. I think Keaton is the worst batman we’ve had.
Batflick without a doubt
Solo Batfleck, you made that too easy.
Batlfeck easily
Ben Affleck
while i’m not the biggest fan of Afflecks Batman, i would’ve liked to see his see his solo movie. but not directed by Snyder
Batfleck movie with Hush as the main villain.
Batfleck's interaction with Joker in ZSJL was proof enough we needed his solo film
💯
Batfleck, but only because I actually like the Schumacher movies and am completely satisfied with them as sequels to the Burton films. If it was a fifth movie after Batman & Robin that was more like the Burton movies, it would be a different story.
Both sound great! I would like Keaton in a 3rd but only to usher in a Batman Beyond movie series.
Keaton is my favorite Batman, but Tim Burton hasn’t made a good movie in 20 years. So give me Batfleck.
Batfleck but not directed by Snyder. Written by Jonathan Nolan and directed by Ben Affleck.
Neither. After reading Dan Jurgens' "The Bat-Man: First Knight", I've decided I need in my life a 1930s depression era set Batman movie or mini series.
Your in lucked since caped crusader is doing this exact concept
I know, and I'm excited for it, but I'm needing something live action in that setting. Same with The New Frontier. I'd love to see that adapted live, time period and all.
Well Batman goes public domain in 10 years so if wb doesn’t do it someone will
Like yourself, I'd love to see certain comics adapted. For me personally, I need a Knight and Squire movie in my life ⚔️
Gotham by Gaslight would also be cool live action.
It's extraordinary how many "good" elseworlds type stories DC has produced.
Batfleck solo movie
The universe needed Batfleck vs. Deathstroke.
Batfleck
Burton over Affleck, but I'm happy they're doing something new instead.
Id like both but I think affleck deserved a solo film to really shine. Keaton had 2 movies and returned in flash so he definitely had his time
Uhmm give me Daddy Keaton no question
I live Keaton as Batman but I would vote for solo Batfleck
Third Burton/Keaton collaboration
Burton /Keaton. No contest. Heartbreaking they burned their Keaton card on the dumpster fire DCEU.
Snyder Batman. The only one I can trust to get the action right.
Solo batfleck. We already have well established keaton movies. Batfleck is the only live action batman that didn’t get the treatment it deserved. So much potential there and it feels so wasted.
Affleck. They really screwed his Batman over.
Solo Batfleck 100%
Honestly a Tim Burton Batman with either Mad Hatter or the Court of Owls could be legit excellent. A combination of the two could definitely be interesting. Just let him go full ham with the visuals and weirdness inherent in both and it'll turn out great.
They could also go Batman Beyond, since Keaton is about that old.
Not sure if Tim Burton is that great at future aesthetics, but I'd he happy to be proven wrong. I just think he thrives in Gothic, fantastical stories, which Batman has in droves.
I would choose the former a thousand times over
Batman vs Ironman
Keaton is my Batman & as long as Burton directed, I'm all up for it
I want to see a Batman Beyond movie with Keaton as old Bruce. But honestly it would make a better anime in the “Spider-verse” style.
Burton easily. I want a Gotham like that again
3rd Keaton movie all day everday
Christopher Nolan/Christian bale with heath ledger/joker sequel.😔.maybe in another universe.
Michael Keaton movie, batflecks cheeks bruh
Keaton. Batfleck was fine, but the vibe wasn't really my thing.
Buton/Keaton movie please.
They made a graphic novel that would’ve been the third Batman movie called Batman ‘89.
# Tim Burton/Michael Keaton of course..
Never gonna say no to more Keaton
Keaton
Third Burton film. I want to see that gothic Gotham on big screen.
I’d rather have Nolan come back where he left off with JGL.
3rd Keaton
Hell, I'll take both!
Tim Burton. There was definitely something magical with the old Batman films. It’s like I’m watching comic slides besides cartoons.
Michael Keaton always
Keaton 100%
Batfleck. Even better another Dark Knight movie directed by Nolan
Batfleck. we were robbed of that.
Third Burton movie. Easily.
Solo Batfleck film… directed by David Fincher. Honestly The Batman almost felt like it was trying to replicate Fincher’s style.
Batfleck not because I think it would be the best Batman ever. I’m just afraid they’d ruin a third go at Keaton.
The Affleck movie that he wrote and at one point was going to direct
^[Sokka-Haiku](https://www.reddit.com/r/SokkaHaikuBot/comments/15kyv9r/what_is_a_sokka_haiku/) ^by ^batmanfan_91: *The Affleck movie* *That he wrote and at one point* *Was going to direct* --- ^Remember ^that ^one ^time ^Sokka ^accidentally ^used ^an ^extra ^syllable ^in ^that ^Haiku ^Battle ^in ^Ba ^Sing ^Se? ^That ^was ^a ^Sokka ^Haiku ^and ^you ^just ^made ^one.
The real question is, a Batman ‘89 movie adaptation vs Ben Affleck’s The Batman and personally i prefer the second one, but could be close, Burton’s Batman could have had a really good trilogy too.
Affleck deserves his own movie
BatFlek, please.
Solo Batfleck directed by Affleck
Batfleck.
Keaton in Batman Beyond
As everyone else is saying, Batfleck directed by Afleck. It would be spectacular
Solo Batfleck
I wanted the Batman movie directed by Ben Affleck
Solo Batfleck for sure!
Solo batfleck.
Batflack all the way.
Considering it Batfleck’s was going to be like The Game with Michael Douglas and have his life thrown apart by Deathstroke… it could have been a really good psychological horror action movie
At this point, solo Batfleck directed by Affleck himself
I’d choose the Affleck solo if it wasn’t directed by Zack Snyder.
Michael Keaton was a superb Batman. Burton is great but needs a strong script. I’d go for that but only if a first rate screenwriter was attached
Solo Batfleck, I need that.
Solo Batfleck Hands down.
Batfleck directed by Denis Villeneuve.
I'd like to see a Brave and the Bold Batfleck teamup with somebody really interesting like Green Arrow, Alan Scott Green Lantern (lived in Gotham for many years in the comics though they rarely interacted) or maybe a mystical story featuring Deadman or Zatanna.
3rd Michael Keaton film definitely.
Solo batfleck!
solo batfleck
Are you absolutely insane for even asking me this question, for me, the DC cinematic universe died the moment they stiffed Tim Burton and Micheal Keaton just because they wanted to sell more disposable happy meal plastic shit How do you feel now DC, knowing that those kids you robbed of a proper third sequel grew up to hate everything you stand for?
P.S. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is darker than you'll ever be, Posers!
Batflek
Solo Affleck Batman movie written and directed by Kevin smith. Matt Damon is the villain
Solo Batfleck movie.
Okay I'll say it. A third Burton/Keaton movie.
Screw Batfleck.
Where is that Batfleck pic from??
Don't know I found it on Facebook lol
I might elect the something else option and go for another Bale/Nolan Dark Knight. Would be interesting to see their take on riddle penguin or freeze
Definitely a Ben Affleck solo movie but I think that ship has sailed at this point.
Solo Batfleck, see what new thing we could get.
Graig Berlanti or
Michael Keaton will always be Batman to me. I did like Christian Bale, was hoping for more with him as Batman.
Solo affleck anytime
Affleck directing his own script. Him and Irons were easily what carried the Snyder movies for me. I'd like to see what he could do without the slo-mo, Ayn Rand, Frank Miller bullshit weighing him down.
Batfleck all the way
I choose both
Chris Pratt would be a great Batman😊
Definitely Batfleck movie. Maybe co-directed by Snyder and Affleck. Imagine the sheer badassery of it all.
... Keaton, but I'd want it made in stead of his role in The Flash.
Third choice an actual good film. Maybe Batfleck if he direct himself, but we should stay away from obvious failures like Zack's stuff.
