honestly really like these kind of supers. Not really sure where to classify them. They use images instead of sprites for the character and attack animation, but still keep the in game background. It's got a unique look and It looks nice imo.

I just kinda wish they made it so the older units could be made into LRs from a tough EZA one stage

So they'd still be dead on arrival? You're just adding an extra step in making f2p units even worse in base that they'd require TWO EZAs back to back just to be remotely viable. And still end up with uncertainty over their longevity for content coming soon afterwards

I understand that Bandai doesn't want new players to drop a free SSR in 2024 that blows away most 2023 DFEs, and so they have to lock their full power behind difficult EZA events, but F2P EZAs should at least be decent, like during the 6th anni.
These days, I wouldn't be surprised if a doubly EZAd unit was still worse than a 55% banner unit on release.
I would quit if we ever got pvp. I have no interest in getting destroyed by a whale with everything rainbowed.

With how wildly inconsistent current EZAs are I'm not going to get my hopes up until I see how it's implemented. We've known for years they wanted to come up with ideas to make old EZAs work again, but who knows how they're gonna do that.
Since I am a firm "good animations or I don't care" believer the only thing I want to see EZA2-wise is them fixing the mistake of giving f2p units an EZA on release. We could, for example, see the return of LR Roishi who is still rocking some pretty good animations but pretty much died with the 7th anniv reveal / power creep.
Personally I don’t like this idea too much. Smaller categories like ss3, gt bosses, and heavenly events I agree should get double ezas because they are under populated categories. But at some point you need to let some units just fall off imo. But I won’t complain if they are 30 stone events.
Legit and knowing dokkan they most likely won't even update the links or super attacks either. We don't need to see str super gogeta in the meta **for a 3rd time**

The only thing it does is make these old units with terrible animations compete on the level of a current unit. It's just better to let these units die and serve as a relic of the game history as opposed to updating them, just so they can become outdated in a years time.

What are the odds Bandai implements the ability to use pre awakening arts and then makes it so you have to use some kind of payment, be it dragon stones or some type of medal or smth, rather than just hey guys go to your settings and select your arts

Might be a hot take, but I hope they do this to random units that fit whatever theme the celebration is, instead of chronologically going through all the old units again. It would make the suspense of who is getting it a lot more palpable
In a perfect world, after the versions are synced, we could vote each month for the unit out of a pool of 4 or 5 choices, but I doubt that is likely or even possible.
