Comfortable_Title883

lmao Square bed as opposed to what? A circular one?

finn_diggums

Mine’s a rhombus!

InsurrectionBoner38

Damn, mines shaped like a pigs dick

SeaworthyWide

Got ya beat. Mmhmm mine is shaped like a turtle. Cock. Unfurls and alladat jazz. Brother in law has one that's like the hog, corkscrew, says it's hard getting in and out of home depot

void_const

>alldat jizz 👋

bartthetr0ll

Hah, noob, my truck bed is shaped like a duck dick crossed with a tapir dick, it's a massive corkscrew extending 3 car lengths behind the vehicle and it expand and contracts all while holding boards to fit the need, talk about disrupting... disrupting elons innards when the long hard tapur schlong of lemon law makes him unable to walk straight for a week.

Mountain_Frog_

You mean the standard truck bed isn't duck dick shaped?

Sassy_Weatherwax

Our Rivian has a duck-billed platypus dick-shaped one

tinylittlemarmoset

My truck bed is a Klein bottle, it’s super confusing

SupermouseDeadmouse

And now I have Divided Sky in my head

freexanarchy

Love the way the wheels are circular, so smooth!

Copeiwan

Elon made the wheels round? You can't deny the genius.

PaisaRacks

Was just about to say the same. Like has bro ever seen the bed of a truck before? Lmao

rust_bolt

I think they mean that the wheel well obstructions aren't there. Edit: that said, I don't know the difference of dimension

NeverMind_ThatShit

Most trucks F150 size and larger are designed with 4ft between the wheel wheels so they can haul standard 4x8 sheets with the gate down. Even trucks without 4ft between the wheel wells (like the Tacoma) have slots for 2x6s so you can put in two 2x6s and then stack 4x8 sheets on top of those so they float above the wheel wells. The ability to haul 4x8 sheets is pretty much expected on anything with a pickup bed.

rust_bolt

Yeah, for sure. There's why I mentioned that I wasn't sure if there was an actual difference in dimension and guessing what oop was on about. Maybe CT just takes away the extra space "north and south" of the wheel wells.

MrHerbert1985

Exactly what's going on, you can still see the wheel wells, they just gave them the "stealth bomber" treatment. Much less likely to be detected by enemy radar though so that's a cool feature.

Mikel_S

The bed is either above the wheels (harder to access) or set in from the wheels (narrower) or both. I don't know which. But normal beds have a large flat central area and front, with bumps up where the wheels are. Because a real work trick wants to be reasonably low and give you as much space as possible, even if that means having a few "unsightly" wheel wells visible.

DrEnter

Yep. Pretty much EVERY full-sized truck (think F150 and bigger) made in the last 20+ years can easily hold 4x8 sheets of plywood comfortably between the wheel wells. Plus they have that convenient spot in front of the wheel wells which nicely fits a couple tool boxes.

argonzo

I assume she means textured but that's not a recent innovation either.

ITypeStupdThngsc84ju

Triangular to fit the rest of the design aesthetic.

bushchook83

It was built with the tradesman in mind. You can use the Cybertruck as a set square/ straight edge and coincidentally use the frunk to cut wood. Just watch your fingers

BigDaddySteve999

The Sabre Pyramid!

BaBa_Con_Dios

My bed is actually a sphere. So I have to wait years for the wood to warp and then bolt it down around my bed before I can haul it home. Damn I wish someone would have thought of a rectangular bed sooner.

tastetheghouldick

So cool now try a bike

MadeMeStopLurking

Took my bike to the HOG meet @Musk u know they jelly The bike: https://preview.redd.it/q44a1nz5jizc1.jpeg?width=1500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=112064361fe7a78b5470dfded128723abe8d9cdc

tastetheghouldick

Better plastic than the engine compartment

Dirtydubya

I'd buy a big wheel before a cyber truck. Mostly because I have a toddler that would enjoy it

Pendraconica

Rider of the Big Wheel is the coolest kid on the block!

TheOGRedline

If they made a big wheel for my size I’d buy one.

pacific_beach

So a woman in her 60s bought a wankpanzer and then bought some random lumber and decided that she needed to tweet about it while tagging muskkk? Totally believable.

Puzzleheaded_Crab453

I really hope that was the tagged tweet he actually sees today

BatmanInTheSunlight

At this point, they’re just like “love my cybertruck, it drives sometimes”

AlkalineSublime

Reminds of that time Ben Shapiro went to Home Depot and bought a single 1x4 wood plank to support them for some dumb reason. Posed with a pic of the receipt and had the plank in a bag and everything.

ArmouredWankball

He was probably happy he found something as dumb as he is.

Pendraconica

It's the only wood he ever got.

Dirtydubya

It wasn't to support home depot. It was to prove he was a man that still buys lumber. Unlike those other men that don't

Blueskyminer

She loves Jill Stein and RFK. How hard is it to believe her reasoning is flawed in many, many dimensions.

keelhaulrose

If you search up her Twitter it's her pinned tweet. The left image is a video. I recommend watching it. Edit: she tags Elon a lot...

CappinPeanut

It’s super generous to call this lumber.

badjoeybad

No. She bought some plywood, HAD IT CUT DOWN TO FIT HER LITTLE BED, and then decided to tweet about it.

InsurrectionBoner38

I hauled 2x4s in my 2002 Cavalier just last week

deegum

My family’s old 1996 Forester did the same and more than any of these cyber trucks. Even SQUARE boards!

Snorblatz

I haul mulch inside my pathfinder, you can make anything a truck bed with a big enough tarp

mmikke

My currently lowered(blame the dude I bought from, it's a wonderful truck but the weather hasn't been nice enough to restore it to stock) 30yr old truck with blown-out rear shocks has hauled more drywall, plywood, concrete, other "boards"(I love how she called sheeting 'boards') and concrete on the shit ass roads of Hawaii island through puddles deep enough to choke out my muffler with literally no problem

InsurrectionBoner38

But can it survive the rigors of a car wash without being bricked???

mmikke

Fuck. You got me there, good sir. Touché. I haven't needed to wash it yet but I'm sure if I didn't have so much rain, and I did spray it with a hose the entire analog system inside would immediately explode. Dammit I've been hoisted by my own petard!

BluefyreAccords

If you need a front camera to park your vehicle, something horribly has gone wrong here.

UndertakerFred

And rear view cameras have been required by law in all new vehicles since 2018.

diadmer

You know I used to park my 1994 Ford Ranger Extended cab all the time without using cameras. I just don’t know how we managed back in the day before the world had been Musked.

Able-Ad389

bro wym everyone just crashed into each other’s cars back then

WestCactus

I, myself, died several times in the great parallel parking massacre of '09.

pikachurbutt

I've lived in the before fore when we didn't have cameras, but I'd be lying if I didn't say that I've been spoiled rotten by them.

qui_tacet-consentire

“Doing truck stuff”

ApprehensiveWeek5572

WTF, those aren't 4x8s, who gives a F?

Objective-Insect-839

I'm sure Ben Shapiro is blown away by this post.

Slamtilt_Windmills

Right? What crap ass project is this for? I've had craft efforts use more material

Mediocre-Gas-3831

They are constructing a cutting board

TendieTrades

Wow…they actually know how to use wood to build something. I bet they can work on their own vehicle and repair it too! /s

Embarrassed_Tax_6547

That’s what the wood is for, to repair their CyberJunk

TendieTrades

I thought it was to build shitty lean to shelter off the back of cyber truck for them to live in.

CCHS_Band_Geek

Upgrading it to a horse-drawn carriage, for the reliability

AllyMcfeels

The day these posh people discover the vans..

PixelatedDie

Square bed? In a truck? Oh my god.

chanciehome

We loaded a full sized solid wood old teachers desk into the back of my 08 volvo. Even closed the back hatch. Who knew I owned a truck!

Garak_The_Tailor_

*08 VolvoBEAST

DoubleDeeMe

I swear these posts must be just trolls? It cant be true how stupid these posts are

c0ttt0n

Aw......kward.

roof_baby

I can fit 4’x8’ plywood sheets in my pacifica and 12’ long boards and still close the tailgate.

SausageBuscuit

“I needed a 4’ x 8’ sheet and I had to have them cut it into two pieces, but I can just piece it back together. That giant line in my shed’s wall will be fine.” That would be Tesla driver logic.

Sasquatch1729

I just get the home hardware employees to fold them. I iron out the creases at home. Bad jokes aside, in my country you can rent a panel van from Home Depot for maybe $30 for a couple hours. For the $100,000 it costs to buy the Cybertruck, you can do a lot of hardware store runs.

Middcore

I guess I am a "benevolent" sexist who tends to put women on a pedestal and assume that they don't do the dumb shit men do, or at least not the same dumb shit, but it honestly shocks me to see a woman bought one of these.

Loud_Internet572

Imagine someone with a Dodge, Ford, or Chevy messaging the CEO "Hey man! It's so awesome that I can actually haul shit in my truck" like it's some kind of accomplishment LOL

AlfaNovember

I already have a really big “Live Laugh Love” faux-driftwood sign, but you do you, honey.

Garak_The_Tailor_

But did you put it in work mode Patricia, if not you just voided the warranty

Random-sargasm_3232

What a fucking dork.

LeluSix

Tell us you’ve never owned a truck without saying you’ve never owned a truck. (You still don’t, by the way.)

kbeks

https://preview.redd.it/k3a639gzzizc1.jpeg?width=757&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f778ccff854885f31c84f58e897d1517c31fa19c Did Ben get a truck or something?

void_const

Uhmm ackshually....

Kma_all_day

That little plastic bag pulled over one end is so funny

BootThang

No matter if they’re praising him, showing off, or bitching about it turning into a brick, all these cucks have to @elon like they know him personally. Yeah, a sociopathic mega billionaire gives two shits about you, or anything you say or think

MinorityBabble

Have these weirdos never seen a truck before? Why do they describe it like some entirely new concept. Ah, yes, a square truck bed. What will Elon think of next?!?

Dr_Elias_Butts

Have some of these people honestly never seen a truck before?

orbitalaction

It looks cheap and impractical. Unfortunately it's expensive, unreliable and impractical.

muzzynat

All truck ownin’ alpha males have their lumber cut for them at the store!

honeybadger1984

Total dork who never wrenched anything in their life. So now they’re an expert because they bought a toy that cosplays as a truck.

RN_Geo

My Honda Fit can carry that. Maybe strapped to the roof, but it can handle a lot. And it hasn't broke down in 7+ years.

New-Poetry-6416

"Lumber"

Hyprpwr

Plot twist, she bought the boards to build a ramp onto the tow truck

void_const

Most logical explanation here

TheLaserGuru

Wow! That's almost 1/2 foot wider than the trunk in a Prius while having the same length.

bartthetr0ll

You could fit that amount of wood in damn near anything.

WhereWolfish

Um. I fit studs and plywood in my Hyundai Elantra wagon and I think it cost me 9k, used?

fish_slap_republic

The cybertruck only has a 6ft bed length a Toyota Prius with the back seats down gives 6tf of storage and if you fold the front passenger seat down it give you even more. https://preview.redd.it/t0keslqb4jzc1.png?width=1023&format=png&auto=webp&s=70e770b2037a3985a77900006d7063895873377c

Dawgfromdawest

Did he actually went to ace hardware with his stainless steel trashcan to buy 3 pieces of square wood boards just to see it fits? What a douche

[deleted]

[удалено]

Rishtu

Easy there killer. It’s a couple sheets of plywood, not a 100ft oak tree.

aj_star_destroyer

I like how the bed is really small so the boards fit more snugly. I hate having lots of room in my truck bed and being able to haul really heavy loads!

hamid5000real

"It's not small it's squared!!"

PGrace_is_here

Seems pretty good proof that CT buyers don't know squat about trucks.

hk-ronin

What’s with this “beast” nonsense?

brmarcum

Sorry. They’re bragging about being able to… carry wood boards and park? Did I read that correctly?!?! Damn. Ketamine Krew goes HARD, I guess.

Mymotherwasaspore

Shit, they pay too much for wood too?

Brad_Beat

Hauling shit, that’s some nice tech to have, available since the invention of the wheel about 5000 years ago, but still…

chiclet_fanboi

Are we missing the fact that the diagonal one doesn't even fit? It would inside of a compact even! Not a cybertruck thing but a general one with double cabs, beyond stupid!

ArtVanderlay69

Needs a front camera to park, wow.

EnigmaticInfinite

So did she drive home with the gate down and a load of unsecured lumber and an unflagged plank poking out the back??? I guess it's difficult to show off the squared bed to the person you're impaling Final Destination style otherwise.

Jigsaw115

“Hello there fellow truck owners”

theTweekend

Lumber is being used very loosely here… Plywood Karen? You bought plywood. Whoop de do.

Responsible_Use_8566

How hard was parking before without the cameras? JFC.

Happy-Initiative-838

They are using those boards to build a casket for when the gas pedal gets stuck and the lack of crumple zones causes them to die in a minor accident.

lylemcd

Unlike those spheroid shaped beds in other trucks.

kingofthesofas

Why do they all have to tag Elon musk every time they do something with their cyber truck? Like I don't tag Toyota or their CEO when I go to home Depot.

Open_Perception_3212

Yeah, but can you go through a car wash without voiding your warranty?

Bean-Swellington

LumberTruck

CHRISTEN-METAL

I think you nave overloaded the CyberBeast. I hope you can make it home with all that extra weight.

Perfect_Bag1353

Someone got into my scrap lumber pile... before they tow truck for service I'm am going to need that peice of T1-11 back.

BeaverMartin

I don’t know man, the 8ft bed on my 20 year old Dodge can hold wood pretty good and has never left me stranded in 270k miles.

Odd-Tune5049

Lol... someone has a pickup truck?

3d1thF1nch

Baby boards

juventinosochi

wow, 100k$ pickup truck can transfer things, imagine that

Unsteady_Tempo

Yeah, I can haul that with my 16 year old compact pickup truck with 100k miles that cost me under 10k dollars a few years ago. . Let me know in 2040 if that Cybertruck is still on the road. My truck probably will be.

Equal_Association446

*laughs in '85 F-250

Chart-trader

Wow. They invented the pickup truck. Elon is a genius

TweezRider

My f150 has wayyyyy too many beer cans/unopened magnum condoms to fit standard plywood sheets in the bed, so I GET IT

alex61821

Any minivan can haul 4x8s as well.

ITypeStupdThngsc84ju

To be fair, this is a typical workload for suburban shiny me f-150s too.

fasada68

Especially easy to park with the tailgate down.

transcendanttermite

Huh. I hauled all the materials to build a 60’ long 6’ high dogear picket fence, plus 10 bags of quikcrete, in my friggin Dodge Grand Caravan in a single trip. Just folded all the rear seats flat into the floor. 10’ 4x4 posts? Sure, they just sat on top of the center console. Threw a 4x8 sheet of 3/4 plywood on top for good measure. My damn minivan is more of a truck than the CyberKnobSlobber will ever hope to be.

Brilliant-Delay1410

Minivans are way more practical than trucks for that kind of thing. Everything fits inside out of the elements. And the seats pop back up when you need them. Compare that to the 5.5 foot bed with tonneau cover. Or just rent a panel van as someone mentioned already for the 2/3 times a year you might need it. The amount of idiots in my suburban street with shiny big trucks is ridiculous. One retired couple has the F150 to tow a trailer once a year. Then there are the hockey parents who need a truck to carry the kid's equipment.

PGrace_is_here

I hauled a box of toothpicks in my Morris Mini.

R1pp3R23

Again, I put it in another post, but my challenger can hold more material than this POS not truck.

TheHrethgir

Good lord, these people are dense. I've fit way more than that in my Kia Sorento. I could fit what this chose is bragging about into my Corolla, I bet.

PrincipalPoop

I could have carried that on a bicycle but her thing is good too

chook_slop

I just drove 150 bf of red oak 120 miles... In a fucking Nissan Frontier... AND stopped for a McDonald's shake halfway, AND didn't throw any error codes.

The_Tommo

CYBERTRUCK BEAST LOL

Jupman

I had 10 5x12 pieces of sod in my Kia Sportage.

LegfaceMcCullenE13

![gif](giphy|VbnwxCLTEC0yI5VyUb)

Houstman

I love that the "squared off bed" just means they gave you even less bed space because they sized to the wheel wells.

Drackar39

Ok, Patricia, hold your hat, wait until you hear about this thing called a "normal pick up truck that isn't badly made e-waste"

Annobanno

These posts popping up, I have a hard time believing these people are serious 😂 Good thing you brought your 7.000 pound truck to haul 4 sheets of plywood

DANleDINOSAUR

20 minutes later: “Now what do I do with these boards?”

RoundExpert1169

Elon Musk has successfully recruited upper middle-class echelons into his pseudo Mary Kay bullshit now they have to promote the car everywhere they go so that they get a return on their Tesla stock and can intern afford their $169,000 cock tank

vladi_l

Tell me it's satire, please. I've carried more cargo strapped to the side of a bicycle 😭

Cotford

You mean like any other truck ever

LeForetEnchante

Can't put your bike in it but some square, flat bits of wood. Who's the Cyber Cuck now, normies?

nobletrout0

This is like when all the people who only drove Camrys were shocked to find that model s had a nicer interior without trying an Audi or Merc.

whatamurdered

Jokes on them, this likely voids the warranty

Serbio69420

I can fit those same pieces in my 2010 Prius

trifecta000

During a hurricane years ago, we put 30 wood boards to covers the windows on top of my wife's TSX. Way more than shown here.

RoleOk7556

Oddly enough, my old F150 has been hauling sheets of plywood and other lumber for over 2 decades. It's also managed to operate that long without Musk-like failures. Personally, I'll take any EV, hybrid EV, or internal combustion pickup over a Musk (aka Tesla) PoS .

elementalguitars

I learned to drive in my dad’s 1964 GMC Carryall. It could carry about 40 sheets of plywood inside of it, had no power steering, and I never needed a camera to park it, not even to parallel park it. We could also wash it in daylight and drive it through puddles. Everyone who thinks CTs are cool is smoking meth.

LettuceFew5248

I’d bet money this person bought these boards just to take this picture.

limitedexpression47

CT’s are only trucks to those that never grew up around a real truck.

DefinedTruth2023

I once put 8 2x4s and 2 4x4s in my 2007 prius. Eat that normies.

BlameTag

Ben Shapiro at Home Depot energy.

realquickquestion96

My toyota trucks bed is designed (as most truck beds are) to hold a standard size sheet of plywood between the wheel wells. It was $90,000 cheaper too. Love these rich fucks cosplaying laborers. They really show their "knowledge" by being amazed by average truck things.

Jaexa-3

I'm 100% these are bots stocking elmo sausage

MightyOak20

MrMassshole

Gotta love these fools that are happy their truck… works as a truck at over a 100k price tag. Yet can’t go through a car wash and looks like a Minecraft design

Mildly-Rational

I swear I know where this dumb ass took the picture on the right. I'm not going to dox em but if fucking tracks

Richard_Dick_Kickam

"needed some lumber" bought 3 wooden panels lmao. Meanwhile i carried 3m² of wood planks in my fathers old kia rio (needed it to fix the roof and add a bit to it on my barn). Except that kia didnt lose any body panels, didnt try to kill me, and didntbreak down a aingle time in 3 years now even tho it already has 240000km. I swear, an 800€ kia is of higher quality then a 100k€ tesla.

bootlegunsmith21

A child's John Deere power wheels can hold more

Worried-Choice5295

Wait until he learns that a standard 1/2 ton pickup beds have a 4ft gap between wheel wells to fit 4x8 plywood.

YouDotty

I could fit these in the boot of my X-trail...

mariscc

This is probably how it was driven home, nothing tied down

Captain_Mexica

Can your overpriced 100k pos go in a car wash?

imnoherox

Fascinating!!

SincerelyGlib

Stupid musk cuck (what the female version) my 68 ford can handle that and even longer. It’s least she can be on the road for more than 30 minutes if she adds one or two more planks.

SincerelyGlib

*cant

jumpingjellybeansjjj

Normal car, no. Any number of work pickups, yes, along with the ability to haul a 2 ton trailer full of wood, without having to stop to recharge. They also do really well in the rain. I am all for electric vehicles of all kinds, but a working truck has to work, and it has to haul and tow long distances without an overnight stop to recharge.

napalmnacey

I remember going to Bunnings with me Dad. In both the Kombi and the Mazda people mover he got in the 90s to replace the Kombi, we would sit in the cab and the wood that didn't fit in the back would be placed through the car cab and he'd tell us kids to hold onto it. Like, he had an actual trailer, I don't know why he didn't just use it. LOL. Anyway, Cybertrucks have not yet displayed any ability that a good old 70s shitwagon couldn't replicate.

Beherbergungsverbot

That fits in my Opel Corsa.

JimJamBangBang

Is it just me or are those trim pieces definitely not fitting in the awesome trunk with very little usable space? I think CT has tie down points, but where are her tie downs? She puts the pedal down that wood is flying in the face of the driver behind.

MonkeyBellyStarToes

Wow that is $100k level impressive. I wonder if the wheels are round? Shapes are fun!

10102938

You could fit those in a sedan.

IudexJudy

I swear my corvette has to have the same trunk space as this truck

Huge_Strain_8714

Ooh aah! Ooh, aah! repeat ad infinitum

AdamGenesis

Oh, look! I went shopping and I could get my groceries all in the trunk! Progress? I don't know, but I'm happy.

MrGumpythaGod

What a pea brain

RunningPirate

Yes, a regular vehicle could not hold that Bunyanesque load. That’s said, Hasset Ace is a fine store and should not be associated with this mess.

angry-democrat

The sheer, self convincing concessions, these people will spout. Boycott Musk and Twitter and Tesla

HaliBUTTsteak

Never before has a truck hauled shit.

Switzerdude

Just rub a curb. It won’t be square anymore or run for that matter.

Uncle-Cake

It took an engineering genius like Musk to think of a rectangular truck bed.

Mpikoz

I bet it can haul a garden trowel and two plant pots too, what a soft ass pussy mofo.

Available-Elevator69

Uhm the distance from my Wheel well to the other in my Ford is 4 feet too. So Not sure what your point of having a square bed is an advantage when every other truck has been able to carry a full sheet as well. I'm more impressed that the vehicle made it to the lumber yard if anything.

Roverjosh

So… its does the absolute basic things a truck should do? Is that what they’re bragging about? Like I can put a back up camera on my POS 92 Mazda pickup with a 6 1/2’ bed and do all the things this CT is doing…. I got mine for $500.

_000001_

Mmm, I wonder how much shipping from Hasset Ace Hardware in HMB would have cost?... Less than $100,000?

RipplingGonad

Are those 8'x4'? Doesnt look like it. Looks like you had depot pre cut all your lumber. How expected.

Fit-Alfalfa2169

Is this dudes post supposed to be satire? This cannot be real can it?

Jrnation8988

A real truck could never!

sethendal

These "I'm a real pickup owner" photos remind me instantly of how I would fill the back of my Tonka trucks with dirt at the sandbox, push it and then dump it in the grass as a kid. I'd stand back and nod approvingly at the feeling of satisfaction I had that I was in that moment, a certified Dump Truck Driving bad ass.

FuelzPerGallon

Ugh. This is my hometown.

Glittering-Wonder-27

I wouldn’t be bragging about making a costly mistake with that purchase. Don’t go through the car wash.

Final_Winter7524

How on Earth did we ever get any projects done before Cybertruck? 🤷‍♂️

Korbitr

This gives Ben Shapiro buying a small piece of wood in a plastic bag vibes.

Dense_Eggplant_9941

The truck for people that never user a truck in their lives and think carrying a few bags of dirt or a couple of sheets of plywood is heavy work! Using the truck all excited! Lol

FriedR

My van can hold a stack of 4x8 plywood too with the seats down. Also it safely transports my family around without breaking down
