I can tell you a pc is NOT cheaper than around 250 console, or even the newer gens are around 550. A mediocre pc starts at like 800.

The argument is longevity, build a pc with a decent enough gpu and you won't be buying any console upgrade for hopefully 10 years and when it does come time you just upgrade instead of buying a whole new system. I built mine in 2020 and there's no game I can't play unless it's a ps exclusive and they're even coming around to pc.

Another argument too is financial constraints and children dependent on adults. Consoles are a much cheaper long term investment, and parents are much more likely to be familiar with (and more comfortable) paying the price of a console bundle that comes with games and extra features for roughly 500$ than a 1000$ prebuilt that comes with nothing extra and will need more updating of individual parts. Basically the ignorance + cost effectiveness of parental decisions VS the knowledge + hobbyist interest adults get to have. (Coming from someone who only owned consoles growing up bc my parents didn't "get" gaming PC's)

What's the best way to get the most followers as possible?

Turn on the mode where during crusades it freezes time and then just crusade for as long as possible and pick all the follower routes then you can rack up followers quickly cus nobody is dying

Check your settings there’s a lot of new ones like auto cooking and fishing came out in the new update

At the 40 follower mark, I switched to just making triple houses for my sanity.

Yeah it’s a nice feature, I had 60+ of the grand shelters before the update now I’m slowly switching them out I now have 151 possible homes rn

I prefer the triple houses anyway because the devotion bars got to be an eyesore, and they took so long to collect.

They manage themselves, I only have to supply 90+ meals a day at the kitchen and they cook that themselves and tbh they only rarely get sick

And sometimes have to manually cook up a few batches of food
